Building a Beautiful City

“Clear water and green hill s are gold and silver.” A good environment is important to us. It’s our duty to help to make Haikou beautiful.

As students, we should take actions from now on. First, to make the rivers and lakes clear, we ought to save water and stop factories from pouring waste water into rivers and lakes. We mustn’t throw litter into the water. Second, to protect green hills, we had better use both sides of paper so that fewer trees will be cut down. At the same time, we must not only plant more trees but also grow more flowers. Third, the most important thing for us to do is to keep our environment clean. We should collect cans and bottles that be recycled, but not throw them about.
