How to Learn English Grammar
How to Learn English Grammar?作者:肖琳燃来源:《校园英语·下旬》2017年第01期【Abstract】Grammar is an aspect of language about which learners have different opinions. Some learners are very interested in finding out or learning grammar rules and doing lots of grammar exercises. Others hate grammar and think it is the most boring part of learning a new language. Whatever opinion you have, however, you cannot escape from grammar; it is in every sentence you read or write, speak or hear. Grammar is simply the word for the rules that people follow when they use a language. We need those rules in the same way as we need the rules in a game. If there are no rules, or if everybody follows their own rules, the game would soon break down. It’s the same with language; without rules we would not be able to communicate with other people. So you cannot escape from grammar, but the key question here is: what is the best way to learn grammar? You can learn the rules of a game by simply playing the game. You will certainly make mistakes; you may even get hurt. Eventually, however, you will know how to play. Of course, the rules of a language are very much more complicated than the rules of any game, but in fact this is exactly how you learned your own language. Nobody taught you the rules of your mother tongue as you were growing up but now you never make a grammar mistake.【Key words】grammar; rule; learn; languageGrammar is the set of rules that govern the usage of English language. These exercises are freely available on the internet. It is only after you are able to correctly assess your weaknesses that you will be able to rectify them.Find a mentorMany learners have improved their grammar working with a mentor. A mentor could even be a friend who has a strong command over English grammar. You must speak only in English with your mentor and ask the mentor to point out your mistakes. This real time feedback is very beneficial in improving grammar.Join a courseMany students find that an English improvement course is the quickest way to improve English grammar. If joining a classroom program is difficult, then an online course is a great option.References:[1]奥马利.第二语言习得的学习策略[M].上海外语出版社,2001.[2]陈保亚.20世纪中国语言学方法论[M].山东教育出版社, 1999.作者简介:肖琳燃(1999-),女,汉族,河南许昌长葛人,许昌高中学生,研究方向:外国语言。

如何能学好语法英语作文
如何能学好语法英语作文英文,To learn grammar and English composition well, I believe that consistent practice and exposure to the language are crucial. 。
First and foremost, it's important to immerse yourself in the English language as much as possible. This can be achieved through reading books, newspapers, and articles, as well as watching English movies and TV shows. By doing so, you will naturally pick up on the grammaticalstructures and sentence patterns used in the language. Additionally, listening to English podcasts or music can also help improve your understanding of grammar and sentence construction.Secondly, practicing writing is essential for mastering grammar and composition. Start by writing short paragraphs or essays on various topics, and then have them reviewed by a teacher or a native English speaker. This will help you identify any grammatical errors and receive constructivefeedback on how to improve. Furthermore, I find it helpful to keep a journal in English, where I can freely express my thoughts and ideas while also practicing my writing skills.Furthermore, it's important to study grammar rules and understand the different tenses, sentence structures, and parts of speech. There are many resources available, such as grammar books, online courses, and language learning apps, that can help you learn and understand the rules of English grammar. By studying and applying these rules in your writing, you will gradually improve your grammar and composition skills. In addition to these methods, I also believe that actively engaging in conversations with native English speakers can greatly enhance your language skills. By speaking and interacting with others in English, you can learn to use grammar and vocabulary in a natural and authentic way. This can be done through language exchange programs, joining English-speaking clubs or groups, or simply conversing with English-speaking friends.Overall, learning grammar and English composition is a gradual process that requires dedication and consistent practice. By immersing yourself in the language, practicing writing, studying grammar rules, and engaging in conversations, you can improve your language skills and become proficient in English composition.中文,要学好语法和英语作文,我认为坚持练习和接触语言至关重要。

The Best Ways to Learn English Grammar
THE BEST WAYS TO LEARN ENGLISH GRAMMAR (OR ENGLISH IN GENERAL) When ESL students think about studying English, they usually believe they must read lots of boring books, learn a lot of vocabulary words that they will probably never use in their lives, and stay up until the early morning so that they can become “good students”. I’m here to tell you that this may wo rk only for some, but many of my previous students complain that they begin to feel like robots. I felt the same when studying Chinese at university, and began using different techniques in order to really enjoy, appreciate, and love the language I was learning.Studying a boring book for many hours will turn you into Mr. Boring.Don’t let this be you.Like any good meal, you need spices. Making your lessons exciting and interesting are like adding the right amount of salt, pepper, and oregano to your dinner. When people work out, some prefer routines in the gym, and others prefer to establish a routine that doesn’t feel like a workout. By doing so, you can avoid brain drain and progress faster in your studies. Here are some tips and great ways to pick up a language:1.PUT DOWN THE BOOK, AND BACK AWAY SLOWLY!I often feel terrible when studying for long hours at a time, unless it is something interesting. If you feel the same, it’s probably be cause you have been staring at black and white pages for over five hours, which usually hurts your eyes. The average person can only pay attention to something for 15 minutes before losing focus. For children, it’s five minutes, so keep this in mind when you teach a lesson, or study a chapter. Your brain is already somewhere else after 15 minutes, and much faster if you have just finished a long, hard day at work.Don’t let this be your daily routine. It’s expensive and Ikea will hate you.I recommend finding an interactive lesson that will make things more exciting. I personally am a fan of video games, so I use online materials. On my laptop, smartphone, and tablet, I use Babbel. It has a wonderful interactive display that allows me to talk, match words, and test my knowledge, which helps me to remember everything that I’ve learned. There are other apps you can use, but I prefer the free ones, and I also recommend using apps like Feedly, Delicious, or TuneIn Radio to listen to all of your favorite songs, audiobooks and news. This also allows me to learn wherever I go, so there’s no need to set a time every day in order to study. Scientists recommend learning a language frequently, in 10-20 minute sessions, which is better than studying one thing for hours, which is why I like Babbel’s new software. I also personally hate routines unless it is necessary, so when studying a language, I prefer to do it freely. I can study on the bus, subway, while walking, and in a coffee shop. It’s doing wonde rs for my Italian, which is still terrible, but I have finally had my first conversation after only two weeks of studying.2.DON’T DO EVERYTHING ALONE!They say that, “Rome wasn’t built in a day”, and certainly, just one person didn’t build it. You need people that can help you achieve the level you want, and it’s probably the reason why you decided to spend time and money with an English teacher. Don’t be “that guy” who learns English, spends half of hi s money on lessons, and forgets everything because he didn’t use it outside of his classes. Language in a work in progress, and in this case, it means you have to work if you want to make progress.Use what you’ve learned. Otherwise, you will make a ver y expensive mistake. It is important, very important, that you find groups of people that speak the language you are learning to help you. They can help you understand the parts of speech, grammar, teach you words you won’t find in a dictionary, and help correct your speaking and listening as you go. Listening is one of the most important parts of the “Big Four” parts of language learning (Listening, Speaking, Writing, and Pronunciation) and there’s no way to use a language if other people sound like they’re speaking an alien language to you. By doing this, you can avoid the trap of learning in a vacuum, meaning, by yourself, without much understanding of dialect or context. Besides, it’s a great way to meet new friends that can teach you much more than just language. They can teach you culture, etiquette, and can introduce you to more friends. They are also willing to learn things about your culture and language as well. You may find your next job and connect with CEOs (we call it networking) who can assist your career.Besides, many people tell foreigners that it is also a good way to meet a girlfriend or boyfriend. If you’re looking for that special person, then go for it.3.GET OUT THERE AND EXPLORE!After you have gained enough confidence to speak basic or intermediate English, it is important to USE it. I always explain to students that it is more important to develop fluency than accuracy. People will still understand you, even if your sentence is not completely correct.Nobody’s perfect. Even if you’re not fluent, you can still get the job done.Grab the nearest paper for events in your city and make yourself known! Join cultural events, join organizations like InterNations where you can meet other expats, and go to sporting events. Take martial arts classes. Learn how to paint. Do whatever you can to mix language learning with something that you are passionate about, because this is the key to using language. You will learn much faster if you are happy with your activities.Remember these three things guys, and most importantly, learning is neither a journey nor a destination. It is YOU, and how you choose to express yourself. You will learn much more than grammar when you appreciate the art of communication. Like working out, you can’t just stop whe n you finally become healthy. STAY healthy, and have fun while you’re doing it.。
How to learn English grammar
This month, SEVEN top tips to help you learn English grammar.语法很重要,但学生不爱学。
为什么?其实学英语,应该多想,想透,贯通!一切就会很容易了。
就像本期我们将要教您的7个小妙招,语法将变得so easy!Grammar = the ways that words are put together in order to make sentences.1.PerspectiveThe first thing to do is to put grammar into perspective. Grammar alone isn’t going to help you learn a language. In order fo r language development to take place, you need to read and listen a lot. Think about children ¨C they never sit down to learn grammar. They’re exposed to lots of language and then pick it up naturally. You can do the same if you listen and read enough! In fact, the more you read and listen, the more language you’ll absorb, and the more you’ll see how the language fits together (which is what grammar is all about).2. PsychologicalYou also need to remember that grammar is largely psychological. This means that the choice of tense often depends on what you (the speaker) want to say in a particular situation at a particular time ¨C the choice of tense is not determined by some external “rule”. So, the selection of either will or be + going to, or must or have to, or the Present Perfect or Past Simple, and all those other grammar structures that are often compared, will depend mostly on what you want to say.3. Freedom! You also need to bear in mind that English is a dynamic language that’s constantly evolving. There’s no linguistic organisati on regulating it (as there is for French or Spanish). So, the concept of “right” and “wrong” doesn’t really exist ¨C it’s more a question of what is (or is not) standard English. But as there’s no universal concept of standard English, and there are hundreds of v arieties of the language (Australian English, British English, American English, Jamaican English, South African English... and so on), and all of them are equally valid, it all gets a bit complicated. In many cases it isn’t a question of what's “right” or “wrong”, but what's accepted (or not) as standard in a particular part of the world. For example, in some places, it’s acceptable to say, “He don’t like it!” [sic]4.It’s easy!English grammar isn’t really that complicated. And there are a limited number of tenses that you need to learn (please refer to our “English Grammar Tenses” box). The rest of “English” consists of thousands of important words and expressions (each with their own “grammar”). If grammar is starting to sound overly complex or hard to grasp, you’re probably going into too much detail. Learning how and when to use the tenses is a lot more difficult, and this is where your teacher or a good grammar book can help. There are often useful guidelines (albeit with a lot of exceptions) that can help you understand when the tenses are used. But real learning will take place from repeated exposure to the language through reading and listening, and seeing the structures in action for yourself.5. Verb tablesSo, what can you do to “learn” English grammar? One thing is to memorise key verb tables. This can be done through the “look, cover, write, check” formula. Simply choose a verb table (the Past Simple, for example), look at it for a few minutes, then c over it and try to write it out again. Finally, compare your version with the original... then do it again until you can recreate the table perfectly. Then, choose another tense to work on. It shouldn’t take long as there really aren’t that many key grammar tenses to learn.6. Memory & repetitionYou also need to memorise key grammatical sentences. Listen and repeat th ese back to yourself until you’ve learnt them by heart and you can say them fluently. The sentences may be out of context, and they may not be entirely natural, but that doesn’t matter because the purpose is to internalise the basic structure, which you can then use in the future to generate other sentences with the same structure. For example, if you learn this sentence, “Keira lives in America", you can then use it to generate hundreds of other sentences, just by replacing the subject (“Keira”), the verb (“lives”) and the complement (“in America”). For example:a)Mike studies in Brighton.b)Sara works in accounts.Another thing you need to do is to build up your agility with the verb tenses. Do grammar drills on your own, with a friend or with your teacher to develop fluency. For example, say a sentence in a particular tense, then create the negative or question forms that correspond to it: “She went to the shops. / She didn’t go to the shops. / Did she go to the shops?” Keep doing this until you can do it automatically and without thinking. Then, when you’re in a conversation, you’ll find the tenses (and affirmative, negative or interrogative forms) come to you much more easily. To summarise: read and listen a lot, learn the verb tables, memorise key grammatical sentences, practise forming negatives and question forms and, above all, remember that language is all a bout communication ¨C it isn’t a set of rules!English Grammar TensesHere are the key grammar tenses that you need to learn. The verb to be, the Present Simple, the Present Continuous, the Past Simple, the Present Perfect, Future forms (will, be + going to, the Future Continuous, the Future Perfect), Modal verbs, the Past Continuous, Passive forms, the Past Perfect and Conditionals (zero, I, II, III).。
How To Teach Grammar
Teaching grammar can be a daunting challenge, with many rules and structures to consider.Grammar is not the most exciting subject in the world, but it is important. Many job applications and cover letters are passed over because the applicant did not use proper grammar. Grammar used to be taught using a language book, learning about parts of speech and doing language exercises such as diagramming sentences. Now grammar is usually taught with writing, and it is taught through mini-lessons. It may also be taught in literature circles when teachers discuss with students how an author writes or a character's speech pattern. When you teach grammar with these methods, students are more likely to remember the grammar rules and apply them to their everyday life.Step 1: StepsHi. I'm yuanmingni and I'm from Greater London Tutors, andI am an English major as a second language. And today I'mgoing to give you some tips on how to teach. GrammarWhen learning a new language, grammar is very important.Grammar is really the foundation of the language. It givesyou the rules and regulations. Without good grammar, you could still make yourselfunderstood - obviously you have the vocabulary - but as soon as you start saying more complicated thingsthat involve different times, tenses, that's when grammar becomes very useful. Without grammar, youdon't know how many people you're talking about, who you're talking about, and that's why it's important. Now, I find that when I'm teaching grammar it's always very good to elicit the grammar out of the students. Things You'll Need∙Literature books∙Chart paper∙Markers∙Paperinstructionso1Assess your students before you teach any grammar. If they alreadyknow what a noun and verb is, then you don't need to waste classtime teaching them and doing exercises where everyone is getting100 percent. The important thing about nouns, for example, arerules such as each sentence needs a subject, capitalizing propernouns making sure nouns and verbs agree. What are yourobjectives in grammar for your grade level, and where are yourstudents in regards to these objectives?o2Teach grammar rules systematically. Exposure alone won't teach all the grammar lessons children needto know. Perhaps you've heard of the whole language versus phonics debate. Most professionals agreethat exemplary reading and writing instruction requires a balance of these two technique. However, don'ttry to dole out too much information at one time. Instead, focus on one particular skill that you wantyour students to learn, and provide a mini-lesson teaching this skill. Your mini-lesson should introducethe grammar rule in question and give examples of its use. If your students can'tremember to always capitalize the word "I" (such as a first gradeclass), then before writing workshop one day, gather thestudents around your chart paper and do a lesson on capitalizingthe word "I." Students can practice this skill by writing a personalnarrative where they use the word, I, and immediately, theyincorporate the lesson into their everyday writing.Once your students masterthe selected skill, move on to other topics.o Sponsored LinksOnline TESOL MastersEarn a Master's in Teaching English Online from USC. Learn More Now./TESOLo3.for example, if I'm teaching the conditional tense, I might show my students a clip from 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire', and Imight show a clip where someone has lost out on some money, or they've won some money. And then I'll say to my students "We'll pretend that you are that person", and so, from my students I elicit "If I were him, I would spend the money on a new car". They don't always get it right, but I've elicited the conditional tense from them; that's come from them, without me having to teach them.with grammar, before you start teaching the exact rules, it's also quite good to put it into context. So, for example, if you're teaching simple past, it's always good to start talking to students about what they did at the weekend, or what they did last summer. That way, it becomes much more relevant to them. And then, once they've got the basic idea of when to use the tense and how to use it, that's when you can start bringing in the finer details, such as changes in the structure, whether you add an 's' at the end, whether it stays the same for different subjects. So, for example, in English the classic one is 'I go', 'you go', 'he goes', so the 's' at the end. So, once you've put the grammar into context, and you've got the students to think of the different rules, I find it's also a good idea to think of any other tenses that are similar. 3 Teach grammar points while you are also discussing books you arereading to the class or that students are reading themselves. Realauthors can be amazing tools to use to teach about contractions,noun/verb agreement and all other grammar points you may need to teach. There are even picture books that focus on certain parts ofspeech or punctuation. Ask your local or school librarian to help you find these books if you want to share them with your class. Showstudents how real-live authors use grammar in their writing, sostudents will also use correct grammar and punctuation in theirwriting. Point out if a character has a weird speech pattern anddiscuss it. Discuss why that character might not be using propergrammar. These discussions will be more meaningful than doinglanguage exercises.4..Provide hands-on experience to help children master grammar rules. Provide your students with ampleopportunities to write. Then, provide grammar-based feedback. Take your students' writing level intoaccount when providing feedback. For example, in a second-grade classroom, you will see many grammarand usage errors. Don't mark up every mistake in red pen; it's too discouraging for students. Instead, focus on the grammar rules you have specifically taught.o 5.Practice punctuation, proper grammar, and capitalization withspelling sentences. Teachers often assign students to writespelling sentences, using a spelling word correctly in eachsentence. What have your mini-lessons been focusing on? Askstudents to practice these skills with spelling sentences. Thesesentences are also a good assessment when you teachgrammar. They will show you if students are applying thegrammar rules they are learning, or if students need moreinstruction and practice.6.There are some great grammar quizzes on the BBC language website, for example, but there are lotsof others. Get them to do some written work, speaking work, listening work, and I find that repetitionis very good because it's very easy to think you understand a rule of grammar, and then forget it. Sothese are just some basic ways of teaching grammar, and I find that it depends on the level that you'reteaching, how difficult the grammar is.Expose your students to the proper use of English grammar. Children will internally develop many grammarrules on their own through exposure to the language. It's your responsibility as the teacher to providethis exposure. This means always modeling proper grammar in your speech and writing. If you don't wantyour students to make errors in subject-verb agreement, don't make these errors yourself. Also, getyour students reading as much as possible. Good writers do a lot of reading.。

About Grammar
陈骏琴09英本一班0912011010Ways to Teach English Grammar Effectively Many teachers said that English was a very important part in the past a few years while now teachers play down it in the process of English teaching. However, in my opinion, English grammar should not play a crucial part in English teaching and learning, which is never mean that grammar is insignificant. I always feel it necessary to teach grammar. As Ur puts it,”you cannot use words unless you know how they should be put together”. In China, one common phenomenon exists in grammar lessons is that teachers teach students grammar in a mechanical way. They just list the language points one after another on the blackboard and explain them without any contexts. They require the students to memorize those items mechanically and are satisfied at the level. As a matter of fact, there are several ways to teach grammar instead of this mechanical way.A. Grammar PresentationThe grammar is boring, so the teachers need to use TPR, stick pictures, and multim edia courseware to motivate the students’ motivation of learning. This is a very effective way. As to my own experience, when I was in junior high school, my English teacher took a piece of colorful paper on which there are many people who are doing different things. She used the paper to teach us to learn the grammar present continuous tense.Firstly, my teacher taught as the new words in the picture, and she took “doing the dishes” as an example. Then she began to ask us to answer her question “what are they doing?” We students answered the question one by one. Some students could answer it correctly while others not. When the students could answer the question correctly and said it out confidently, my teacher asked us to think about ourselves, and asked ourselves “what are you doing”. A few minutes later, she asked one of us to speak out a sentence about that question. And sometimes she also corrected our answers.Present the grammar has its own advantages. The most direct merit is that it gives the students a deep impression in learning. For example, I can remember what I have learned in my junior high school through the colorful paper.B. Grammar DiscoveryIn this method, teachers should encourage the students to find how the sentences are built by themselves firstly. Then students do some exercises by using linguistic roles that is discovered themselves. Of course, students may have seen this usage before, but they formally learn this usage for the first time.As for this method, I always used it when I taught my students’ grammar in the last summer holiday. My students are in 8th Grade, and I found it available to use thismethod. For example, when I taught them comparative adjectives, I used this method.Firstly, I wrote many sentences which used the comparative adjectives and many adjective words and their comparative forms. Then students work in pairs; find out the roles about comparative adjectives. After they finish it, I checked the answer and find out the role together: “than”is usually used after the comparative adjective; -er is added to the end of a 1-syllable adjective; -er is added to the end of an adjective with 2 syllables, if the word ends in –y;change the –y to I and add –ed. “More” or “less” is used for adjectives that have 3 or more syllables; Adjective that end in with a consonant, vowel, consonant –the last consonant is doubled. Finally, give students some exercises about it. For example, write some adjectives, and ask them how to change it into its comparative form. In this way, can the students know and grasp the roles correctly. However, what I had discovered is that in the above table, I couldn’t complete the complete grammatical phenomenon that is I can’t give out all the information. Thesecond problem is that not all of my students like this teaching method. They even asked me to give their comparative roles directly. Maybe these are we teachers need to improve to make this method more available.C. Grammar Practice“Practice makes perfect”. Various grammar kinds all serve for expression and communication. Therefore, when teaching grammar, teachers should try their best to tell the practical application. If teachers only depend on repeating abstract explaining, it is always useless. Try to put the grammar into the context. For example, when teaching students the passive voice for the first time, students can not understand it completely; teachers should try to put this into the environment. Teachers can ask a student to perform a matter: when Tom bought a book in the bookshop yesterday, his wallet was stolen. The student acts as the little Tom while the teacher acts as the thief. They perform this accident in front of the whole class. Then the teacher tells the class what had happened in English. After that, it is the students turn to retell the story. Then, teacher can offer some pictures about passive voice to students and encourage them to speak out the sentence confidently. In this way, students can acquire the grammar knowledge quickly and correctly.D. Grammar Book“A good book is the best of friends, the same today and forever.” True, isn’t it? Now there are thousands of grammar books in the book markets. And different types of grammar books fit for different people whose English level is different. So choose a grammar that fits for you. And if you time, just open and read it. I am sure that it is also an effective way to study and teach English grammar. To sum up, the four methods above are my own opinions about how to teach English grammar effectively and getting rid of the ordinary mechanical way. In fact, no matter how we teach, the most important is that students can learn in an interesting way and can grasp the knowledge through this interesting way.(1077)。

Embrace the challenges, have fun with the journey, and watch as your skills soar to new heights!篇3How to Learn English Grammar and Writing AwesomelyLearning English is super important these days, but it can also be really hard! Grammar with all its rules and writing with having to put everything together can make your brain feel like a twisted pretzel sometimes. But don't worry, I've got some tips that have helped me a ton.First up, grammar. I used to think grammar was this weird confusing cloud of random rules. But then I learned that it actually makes sense if you understand the logic behind it. The key is taking it step-by-step.Start by mastering the basic sentence structures like subjects and verbs. A subject is what the sentence is about, like "The dog" or "My friends." The verb is the action word, like "ran" or "are playing." Once you've got that down, you can move on to more advanced things like different verb tenses for past, present and future. It really helps to connect this stuff to examples from your real life. Like for the past tense, think about something you did yesterday - "I played soccer after school." For the future, imagine something coming up - "Tomorrow I will visit my grandparents." Using the grammar while picturing real events makes it way stickier in your brain.Another awesome tip is to make grammar practice fun and hands-on. My teacher has us go on "verb walks" around the classroom where we act out the different verbs we find in sentences. Or we'll play games like grammar bingo or fantasy grammar adventures. Way better than just doing a million worksheets!Building vocabulary is also huge for improving your overall English skills. I try to learn around 5-10 new words each week by keeping a vocabulary journal. Whenever I come across an interesting new word, I write it down, look up the definition, make up a sentence using it, and draw a little picture to help me remember it. It's like gradually expanding your word vault!OK, now let's talk about writing, which I know can feel like climbing Mount Everest for a lot of kids. The biggest thing that's helped me is reading, reading, and MORE reading. The more you read, the more you get a feel for how words can flow together ina natural, engaging way. I personally love reading fiction novels, but you could also read short stories, magazines, graphic novels, or anything else that interests you. It's also key to give yourself a solid foundation by mastering paragraph structure. A good paragraph has three main components - a topic sentence that introduces the main idea, a few supporting sentences that give details and examples, and a concluding sentence that wraps it up. Having a clear game plan for how to organize your thoughts on paper makes the whole process feelway less overwhelming.Once you've got paragraphs down, you can start playing around with different styles of writing like narratives, persuasive essays, research reports and more. I find it super helpful to read examples of each type of writing, then give it a try myself while thinking about the author's techniques I want to emulate. One of the biggest writing struggles I had was how to come up with fresh, interesting ideas to write about in the first place. My favorite brainstorming methods are mind mapping (writing a main idea in the middle of the page and branching off related thoughts), people watching (finding an intriguing character in public and imagining their life story), and listening to music (so many songs can spark cool writing ideas!)Another big help for me has been sharing and discussing my writing with others. In my class, we'll do peer review sessions where we trade papers and give each other feedback on what's working well, what needs improvement, things that are confusing, etc. It's awesome to get feedback from multiple perspectives instead of just turning something in to the teacher. The most important thing with writing is to not put too much pressure on yourself to be perfect from the start. As the saying goes, "Writing is re-writing." Your first draft is just the starting point. Be willing to make mistakes, get a little messy, revise, and keep polishing and perfecting your work over multiple drafts. Like with anything, the more you practice, the stronger your skills become. One last tip - try mixing up your grammar and writing practices by doing fun, creative projects. You could write and illustrate your own children's book, put together a class newspaper, or create interactive grammar games or quizzes to share with friends. Anything that gets you engaging with the material in a hands-on, personalized way will make it 100 times more memorable. So there you have it - my best advice for making English grammar and writing a lot more awesome and less traumatizing.Keep exploring different strategies and don't be afraid to get creative and have fun with it. Before you know it, you'll be a grammar guru and one heck of a wordsmith! Just be patient, keep practicing, and stay determined. You've totally got this!篇4How to Learn English Grammar and Writing Really WellHi there! My name is Emma and I'm in 5th grade. A lot of kids my age struggle with learning English grammar rules and how to write well. It can definitely be really hard and frustrating at times. But I've picked up some good tips over the years that have helped me a lot. I want to share them with you so you can become an English grammar and writing superstar too!The most important thing is to practice, practice, practice! The more you use the grammar rules and writing skills, the better you'll get. It's like anything else - whether it's math, sports, music, or video games, the more you do it, the easier it becomes. You can't just learn it once and expect to have it down forever. You have to keep working at it regularly. One of the best ways to practice is by reading a lot. I'm not just talking about books for school, but anything you enjoy reading - comics, magazines, websites, games, etc. As you read, pay close attention to the grammar and how sentences are constructed. It will help reinforce the rules in a fun way. Whenever you come across something you don't understand, ask your teacher or look it up. Over time, it will start to click.Another great way to practice is by writing as much as you can. Keep a journal and write about your day, your thoughts, or whatever inspires you. Write stories, poems, letters to friends or relatives. The more you write, the more comfortable you'll become putting sentences together correctly. Don't worry about being perfect at first - editing comes later. Just get that initial writing practice in.When you do start editing your writing, that's when you really apply those grammar rules. Go throughsentence-by-sentence and look for errors in things like subject-verb agreement, pronoun usage, verb tenses, punctuation, etc. Use grammar resources like textbooks or websites to check your work. It's ok if you make mistakes at first - that's how we learn! Fixing those errors will reinforce the proper grammar usage. It's also really helpful to have someone provide feedback on your writing, whether it's a parent, teacher, tutor, or friend. A second set of eyes can often catch errors or areas forimprovement that you missed. Don't be discouraged by their feedback - it's just helping you get better. Revise your work based on their suggestions. In addition to just reading and writing a lot, it's important to study and memorize some of the key grammar rules and concepts directly. Things like the parts of speech (nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc.), common rules for punctuation, sentence structures, and so on. Your textbooks and teachers are great resources for this. Making simple grammar study guides or flashcards can help too. When you're working on writing assignments, whether it's essays, stories, reports, or anything else, follow these core steps:Prewriting - Brainstorm your ideas, make an outline, etc. before you start writing.Drafting - Get all your thoughts down in a rough draft without worrying too much about perfection.Revising - Go back through your draft and look for ways to improve the writing itself - the clarity, organization, word choices, etc.Editing - Check carefully for any grammar, spelling, punctuation, or formatting errors.Finalizing - Produce your polished final piece, ready to submit or share.Revising and editing are absolutely crucial steps that a lot of students rush through or skip entirely. But doing these steps thoughtfully and thoroughly can take your writing from good to great!Another key for becoming a skilled writer is reading great examples of writing by published authors and writers. Paying attention to how they construct sentences and organize paragraphs can provide incredible insight. You can learn so much just by observing what effective writing looks and feels like. One last big tip - don't get discouraged! Mastering English grammar and writing takes a ton of time, effort, and patience. It's an incredibly complicated language with countless little rules and exceptions. Even adults who are native speakers still struggle with it sometimes. If you find yourself feeling frustrated, take a break. Walk away for a bit and come back to it later with a fresh mind. Consistently working at it bit-by-bit is what's important.Well, those are some of my best suggestions for learning grammar and writing skills. Keep at it, ask questions when you need help, and most importantly, don't be afraid to makemistakes - that's how we all improve. You've totally got this! Thanks for reading, and happy learning!篇5How to Learn English Grammar and Writing Really WellHey guys! Are you having a hard time with English grammar and writing? I used to struggle a lot with it too. All those rules about verbs, nouns, adjectives and where to put commas made my head spin. And don't even get me started on writing essays and stories! But you know what? I've figured out some awesome tricks that have helped me get SO much better. Do you want to know my secrets?First up, grammar. I won't lie, learning grammar can be pretty boring at first. But you have to get the basics down to be able to write and speak properly. My favorite way to practice is by playing games! There are a ton of fun apps and websites that turn grammar into cool games and activities. My teacher showed us one called Mad Libs where you fill in different types of words to create a silly story. It's hilarious and really helps cement things like nouns, verbs, and adjectives in your brain.Another awesome game is having grammar battles with friends or family members. You take turns asking each other toidentify parts of speech in sentences or point out grammatical errors. Whoever gets the most right wins! My big brother and I have epic grammar battles and I always demolish him. Ok, maybe not always, but I'm catching up for sure.Once you've got the basics down, keeping a grammar journal can really level up your skills. Whenever you notice an interesting grammar rule being used in a book, movie, or conversation, write it down and add an example sentence. Then your teacher or parents can go over it with you. It's way more fun than just reading grammar rules from a textbook. The other key is to read, read, read! Reading lots of different books and materials gets you exposed to proper grammar usage over and over again. It'll start feeling really natural. When I was younger, I didn't do as much reading as I should have. But now I'm obsessed with awesome book series like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and more. I've noticed my grammar has improved a ton just from reading every night before bed.Okay, now let's talk about writing. This one was really tough for me at first because I had so many thoughts and ideas that I struggled to organize them. But then I learned a bunch of useful strategies that have helped a lot.The first step is to start every writing assignment by planning it out and organizing your thoughts. Some kids like making mind maps, which are diagrams that visually organize your main ideas and supporting points in a way that makes sense to you. Personally, I prefer making outlines where I write my intro, main points with details, and conclusion in outline form first. That way I have a roadmap to follow when I write the actual paragraphs.Another hugely important thing is learning to revise your writing. The first draft of any writing assignment is never going to be perfect. Good writers go through multiple revisions to improve their work. After writing my first draft, I always read through it a few times myself to catch any mistakes and see what needs more detail or better wording. Then I have my parents, teacher or friends read it too and give me their feedback. I take their suggestions and revise my drafts until I feel I've made it as great as I possibly can.One last tip for writing is to read your work out loud. I cannot stress this enough - it has helped me SO much! When you read your writing out loud, you catch a lot of mistakes, awkward phrasing, or areas that just don't sound right. It's like you're hearing it for the first time and can tell what needs improvement way easier. Those are my biggest secrets for learning grammar and writing in English effectively. They've worked amazingly well for me, and I really hope they help you guys out too! English can be super tricky, but if you make it into games, read a ton, plan out your writing, and revise carefully, you'll be an expert in no time. Just don't get discouraged and stick with it. You've got this!篇6How to Learn English Grammar and Writing Really WellLearning English grammar and writing can be super tough, but it's also really important if you want to get good at speaking, reading and writing English. Here are some tips that have helped me get better at English grammar:• Make games out of it! Things like mad libs (filling in different types of words to make silly stories) and grammar games make practicing grammar way more fun. Apps like Grammar Galaxy and Grammar Wonderland have turned grammar into an adventure.• Learn the parts of speech. Knowing how to identify nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc. is key. Making outlines and organizers first can make the actual writing process much easier.• Read your work aloud. Lots of writing mistakes become more obvious when you hear it out loud. This helps you catch and fix issues.• Learn common writing techniques like figurative language, strong word choices, varying sentence types, etc. Applying these makes your writing more engaging and advanced.• Take advantage of technology tools. 如何学好英语语法的英语作文大学生
如何学好英语语法的英语作文大学生全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1How to Be a Grammar Superstar and Learn English Really Really Well!Hi there! My name is Sophie and I'm a college student who loves learning English. English is super fun and amazing once you get the hang of it. But I remember when I was just starting out, the grammar part was kind of tricky and confusing. All those rules about verbs, nouns, adjectives and adverbs made my head spin! But now that I've become a grammar superstar, I want to share my tips with you on how to learn English grammar the easy way. If you follow my advice, you'll be speaking and writing like a pro in no time! Are you ready? Let's go!Tip #1: Learn Through Fun Stories and SongsWhen I was little, my English teachers would teach us grammar rules by telling fun, silly stories and singing songs. Instead of just memorizing boring rules, the stories helped me understand how to actually use the grammar in a real situation. The songs made it easy to remember verb conjugations and tricky spelling rules. Ask your teacher for grammar stories and songs - that makes it way more enjoyable to learn!Tip #2: Label All The ThingsOne of my favorite activities was labeling everything around me with grammar notes. I'd put labels like "this is a noun" on my desk, "adjective" on things that described another noun, and "verb" on the door (because you can "open" and "close" it). Walking around my house became like a fun treasure hunt to find all the nouns, adjectives and verbs. You can do this too!Tip #3: Grammar Games Are Your Best FriendThere are so many fun games you can play to practice your grammar skills. My favorites were Mad Libs (filling in blank stories with nouns, verbs, etc.), Sentence Building Jenga (writing words on blocks and stacking them into sentences), and 20 Questions (asking yes/no questions to figure out someone's secret noun). Basically, anything you can turn into a game will help reinforce those grammar concepts while you play.Tip #4: Watch Movies and TV ShowsI know it sounds like the opposite of learning, but watching English movies and TV shows can actually help your grammarskills a ton! As you hear characters use different verb tenses, descriptive adjectives, and all sorts of grammatical constructions, your brain will start picking up on common patterns. The more you immerse yourself in listening to proper English, the more natural it will become. My favorites to watch were cartoon shows and movies because they used pretty simple language that was easy to follow.Tip #5: Keep A Grammar JournalThis one might not sound as fun as games and movies, but I promise it helps! In a special notebook, write down any grammar rule that confuses you or mistake you tend to make often. For example, if you mix up "their/there/they're" or forget certain verb conjugations, write it down. Then go over that journal and study those problem areas. Seeing your weaknesses written out will help reinforce the right way to use that grammar concept. It's kind of like making flashcards, but for just the stuff you need extra practice with.Tip #6: Read, Read, Read! You've probably heard this advice before, but reading really is one of the best ways to improve your overall English skills - grammar included. As you read books, newspapers, magazines, etc. you'll start absorbing proper sentence structure, flow andgrammar conventions. Start with stuff that's not too complicated, like children's books or young adult novels. Over time, advance to more challenging texts as your skills improve. Reading out loud can also help reinforce correct pronunciation and grammar.Tip #7: Find A Grammar BuddyLearning with a friend is way more fun! Find a grammar buddy who also wants to improve their skills. You can take turns testing each other on rules, playing grammar games together, and keeping one another accountable to practice daily. If you make a mistake, your buddy can gently correct you. Having someone on the same journey makes the process more motivating and enjoyable.Tip #8: Be Patient and Don't Get FrustratedHere's probably my most important tip: Learning grammar doesn't happen overnight, so don't get discouraged! It takes a lot of time, practice and patience. Some grammar concepts will click quickly for you, while others might take weeks or months before they finally make sense. That's normal! 小学英语教案:如何教授学生英语发音及基本语法
IntroductionEnglish is one of the most important languages in the world and is widely used in international communication, business, and travel. As more and more people are interested in learning English, teaching English as a second language has become increasingly important. For many young learners, English may be their first foreign language. Therefore, it is essential to teach them English pronunciation and basic grammar at an early stage. This article will provide tips and strategies for teaching English pronunciation and basic grammar to primary school students.Teaching English Pronunciation1. Teach the Phonetic AlphabetThe English language has a standardized set of sounds called the "Phonetic Alphabet." This system is essential for helping students to understand how each letter is pronounced. Teach students how to read and write the Phonetic Alphabet, and then use it to teach the pronunciation of new words. The Phonetic Alphabet will enable the students to learn the correct pronunciation of words more quickly and accurately.2. Pronunciation GamesUsing games, students can develop their pronunciation skills in a fun and engaging manner. One of the popular games is "What's in the Box?" where you place various objects in a box, and students have to guess what they are by listening to you describe them. You can also use tongue twisters to help them practice pronunciation.3. Watch English mediaWatching English videos, movies, and songs are an excellent way for students to learn English pronunciation. Encourage students to watch English media with English subtitles or watch classic English cartoons like Tom and Jerry, which use clear English pronunciation. Teach students to mimic what they hear by repeating the words and sentences they hear in the media.Teaching Basic English Grammar1. Parts of SpeechTeaching parts of speech is a crucial grammar component. Teach students the parts of speech, such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, and prepositions. A good wayto teach this is through a color-coding system. For example, underline all the nouns in a sentence in red and verbs in blue. This method will help students to learn sentence structure and identify different parts of speech quickly.2. Simple TenseThe simple tense is the basic structure of English grammar. Teach the past, present, and future tense as a starting point. Explain the differences among them and demonstrate how to construct a sentence using each tense. Emphasize the various forms of verbs according to thedifferent tenses.3. Practice Makes PerfectEncourage students to practice English grammar regularly, even outside of the classroom. Provide them with simple sentences and exercises to complete at home. Let them read English books, newspapers, and other media where they canpractice identifying parts of speech, sentence structure, and verb tense.ConclusionTeaching English pronunciation and basic grammar to primary school students can be a challenging task. However, with the appropriate methods, it can be a fun and exciting learning experience. Teaching the Phonetic Alphabet, pronunciation games, and watching English media are some ofthe techniques that can help students to improve their pronunciation. Also, teaching parts of speech, simple tense, and regular practice are essential for learning English grammar. By using these methods, teachers can make asignificant difference in their students' learning experience.。

I read a novel yesterday.和"It was extremely Interesting."这两个单句改为"The nov el I read yesterday was extremely interesting."这就是定语从句的单项练习。
首先要反复进行替换练习。
如把"I sa w a man this morning."和"The man is my teacher."改为"The man I saw this morning is my teacher."把"I s aw a film last night."和"The film was very amusing."改为"The film I saw last night was very amusing."这种练习虽然是枯燥的,却是重要的基本功,务求把定语从句练到脱口而出的地步。
这是第一步。
第二步是把定语从句放在一定的语言情景中去综合运用,进行一问一答。
如:
A:Did you enjoy the opera?
B:Which opera?
A:The one we saw last night,of course.
B:Yes,very much.
第三步是扩大运用,也就是把定语从句和以前学过的两三个项目放在一起去操练。
A:Do you know who Edgar Snow was?(一般问句;名词从句)
B:Yes,he was an American writer who interviewed Chairman Mao in Beijing.(定语从句)
A:Oh,now I remember.He was the author who wrote"Red Star Over China",wasn't he?(定语从句;反意疑问句)
B:Exactly.
Haven't you read this book?"(你没有读过这本书吗?)如果回答是否定的,依照汉语的习惯,回答通常是:"是的,我没有读过。
"但说英语时,你就得说:" No,I haven't."
汉语说"一万",英语却说"十个千(ten thousand)";汉语说"两亿",英语则说:"二百个百万(two hundred million)"。
两种语言关于数目的表达是大不相同的。
英语说:"She is too tired to run on."
