有学生问过:我的完型填空还是弱项,怎样才能提高,是多做题吗?我很苦恼,请老师给我点建议。
老师这样回答:我建议你把你做过完型题拿出来,做以下几件事:
(1)看以下选项里一共有多少个单词你不认识,如果不认识的个数超过10个以上(以每篇完型12道题48个选项为标准),那么就说明你没有掌握足够的基础单词,所以建议你不忙着做完型,先背完《中考规范用词1600》。
如果你是初三,就得双管齐下,一边背单词,一边做完型了。
(2)如果选项里的单词有5-9个你不认识,说明你没有掌握足
够的扩展词汇,建议你把我推荐的《历年中考完型阅读高频词》背掉,然后在去做完型。
如果你是初三学生,和上面一样,要两边一起做了。
(3)如果选项里不认识的单词个数低于5个,那么建议你把每篇完型反复做上几遍,做以下4件事:
第一件:从头到尾做一遍,反复在段落中进行推理。
(做1遍)第二件:对答案,把正确的选项填到文章中的空格上,反复体会在上下文中的意思,与其它三个选项比较一下,为什么要选那个正确的。
(做3遍)
第三件:把完型填空中不认识的单词和短语(每篇约15-20左右),用一个小本记下来每天背诵和朗读,直到滚瓜烂熟。
好处:这些单词和短语在考试中有一定的重现率,值得重视。
(每天背4遍)第四件:每周挑选1-2篇中等难度的完型(最好是历年北京中考真题的完型),反复朗读,直到背诵出来,让自己的思路更加接近出题人的思路。
请记住任何考试的不变真理:重复是高分之母。
中考英语完型填空做不好如何提高?相信这个问题是很多家长和学生也很头疼的一个问题。
我们可以先一起来看看到底什么题型叫“完形填空”。
完形填空是中高考常见的一种题型,也是中学生最为棘手的题型之一。
它是由出题者在一篇语义连贯的文章中有目的地去掉一些词语,形成空格,要求在给出的对应的备选答案中,选出一个正确的或最佳的答案,使文章恢复完整。
它既考查对语法,词汇,习语,句型,搭配等基础知识的综合运用能力,又考查对短文的阅读理解能力。
其中包括在具体的语境中灵活运用语言知识的能力,根据试题内容进行正确的逻辑推理,综合判断和分析概括的能力。
完形填空这一题型在综合性英语考试中的存在有着充分的理论依据:认知事物要从整体着眼,要能利用已知信息将残缺不全的事物完整化、具体化。
因此,它在考题中的存在不仅仅是因为它考查的是综合运用语言的能力,更重要的是能考查学生是否具有良好的心理素质和健康的心态。
这正是具有选拔性特征的高考所要达到的目的之一。
完形填空是一种障碍式阅读,说到底,就是把一篇本来
十分完整的短文拆得七零八落,再设置除正确选项外的三个具有干扰性的选项。
在做题时,考生既要看上面的短文,又要看下面的选项。
因此,坐起来十分不顺畅,十分恼火。
心理素质不好的同学,在做完形时很容易产生急躁情绪和厌烦心理。
而造成这种不良心态的主要原因有两点:一是害怕心理,二是缺乏兴趣。
要改变这一现实,就得先进行自我诊断,弄清楚自己究竟害怕什么。
如果是害怕文章看不懂,说明你的问题出在阅读理解能力上。
不能正确理解短文的大致意思,你自然无法选择正确的答案。
因此,你平时还得多加强阅读理解题型的训练。
只有提高了阅读能力,才能为做完形填空打下良好的基础。
如果是怕选项有生词,或者是害怕旧词新意,即虽然认识该单词,但这里的意义却是你先前不知道的,这就说明你存在两个问题。
一是该掌握的词汇没有掌握;二是缺乏依据上下文判断词义的能力。
那么,平时就得加强词汇学习,尤其是在句子中去学习词汇,做到词不离句,效果会更佳。
如:
1. the flowers are really inviting.
此句中inviting不是“邀请”,而是“诱人的”的意思。
2. she is dying for a car.
此句中dying for不是“死亡”,而是“极其渴望”的意思。
3. his cancer is now in advanced stage.
此句中advanced stage不是“高级阶段”,而是“晚期”的意思。
如果是练习量的问题,建议每天一篇,不要间断。
没有适当的量作保证,就不可能达到熟能生巧的程度。
如果是缺乏兴趣,就从培养兴趣着手。
