二、学情分析:五年级学生具有一定的逻辑思维能力,他们已经学了两年半的英语,能够简单的用英语表达自己的想法。
虽然处于高年级学段,仍然活泼好动,喜欢直观形象和抽象思维相结合,有着极强的求知欲和表现欲,但也存在学习方法和学习策略经验不足的问题。
本课重在培养学生的阅读能力,思维能力和与同学间的合作能力。

本单元是在复习以前学过的一些月份和部分序数词的基础上,注重学习具体日期的英语表达方式,学习序数词与基数词的转换规律,重点呈现核心句型When is the sports meet? It’s on April 4 th. When is Grandpa’s birthday? It’s on October 12 th. 贴近学生们喜爱的话题,激发学生们的浓厚情趣,很容易把知识点融入到学生们的实际生活中,学生们更容易接受,并能很快达到融会贯通的程度。
