我的一个朋友在一次意外的事故中失去了右手。
炎炎夏曰里，我到他的小书屋去选书。
我本来打算要穿一件凉爽的短袖汗衫出门的。
可是，临行前我还是毅然换了一件长袖衫——我忘不掉两年前他在酷署时节穿一件长袖衫对我说“我今生再也无福穿短袖汗衫了”的悲苦神情，我希望这件长袖衫从我身上蒸出淋淋汗水，希望这淋淋汗水能多少减淡一点朋友的哀伤和痛楚。
当我出现在那间小书屋时，朋友热情地迎上来与我握手。
两只左手紧紧相握的瞬间，我俩都忍不住看着对方的衣衫大笑起来——因为，朋友居然穿了一件短袖汗衫。
朋友说，谢谢，我知道你的良苦用心。
倒退两年，我还真的特别需要你这样做，但现在不同了不瞒你说，刚出事的那阵子，我认为我活不下去了，我说什么也接受不了没有右手的残酷现实。
