Step 1 Greeting to each other.

Step 2 Check the homework.

Step 3 检查上一讲中所学到的关于厨房和起居室中家用器具的单词,听写。

水壶------kettle; 烤箱——toaster 搅拌机——blender 洗碗机——dishwasher 锅——pan 菜板——kitchen board 微波炉——macro-wave oven 音响——stereo

Step 4 lead-in

Show some pictures, and ask students “ What is he/ she doing?”

1, He is playing basketball.

2, She is doing her homework.

3,They are cleaning the room.

4, He is playing computer games.

Step 5 动词-ing形式的构成. ( 先考察学生是否还记得)

1,一般在动词原形末尾加-ing.

stay---- staying do---- doing listen---- listening

2, 以不发音的字母e结尾的动词,先去掉e,再加-ing.

make---- making give---- giving ride---- riding

3, 以一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节词,先双写这个辅音字母,再加-ing.

put----putting win---- winning begin---- beginning

4, 以ie为重读闭音节结尾的单词,先去掉e, 把i变为y, 再加-ing.

lie---- lying tie---- tying die---- dying

5, 以re音节结尾的动词,先去掉e, 再加-ing.

prepare---- preparing tire---- tiring bore----- boring

6, 以er 结尾的动词,如果是重读音节结尾,先双写r,再加-ing,如果不是重读音节结尾,就直接加-ing.

prefer---- preferring water---- watering

Step 7 Listening

1, Look at picture of lesson 31, and guess what happened?

2, Listen to the tape, then show people’s names.

3, Listen to the tape again, and then answer these questions:

Where is Sally?

What is Sally doing?

Who is climbing tree?

What is the dog doin g?

4, Read after the tape.

5, Try to recite the conversation.

Step 8 Oral Exercise

Lesson 32 and Lesson 34.

Try to remember some new words.

Step 9 现在进行时的用法

1,表示现在或说话时正在进行的动作,常与now连用,有时有look, listen等词提示。What are they doing now?

Look, what are the monkeys eating?

Listen! Someone is singing in the classroom.

练习: Look! The boy’s ______ happily in the river.

A, swim B,swam C, will swim D, swimming

2, 表示当前一直或反复进行的动作或难以终止的动作。

They are running and jumping all the time.

The population of the world is growing faster and faster.

3,表示经常反复的动作,常与always连用,含有赞扬或厌恶的意思。

He is always helping others.

That son of yours is always making trouble.

4,有一些表示状态的动词和表示心理情感的动词不用进行时态。

如:like, love, prefer, know, wish, want, hate, forget, remember, understand, lie, seem

I like this book. 不能说I am liking this book.

5,表示明确安排好了的不久将要发生的事情,这是表示最近的打算的最常用的表达方式(时常有一个表示未来时间的状语)。

We are leaving on Friday.

I am seeing the doctor today.

Step 10 一般现在时与现在进行时的区别

现在进行时强调动作正在进行,而一般现在时指经常性发生的动作。

练习:Linda often ______ her homework in the evening. But this evening she ____ TV.

A, does; watches B, is doing; is watching

C, does; is watching D, is doing; watches.

Answer the question: Are the children coming out of the park or going into it?

Step 12 介词

1, The village is on a river. “on”在这里是“临近、靠近”

临近还可以用“near”“by”“beside”

Who is walking beside you?

She stands by her chair.

2, 两个地方不接壤介词用to,相邻用on,一个地方在另一个地方里面介词用in

Japan is to the east of China.

Russia is on the north of China.

Beijing is in the north of China.

3, 当几个不同的人称代词做主语时,常用and或or连接,它们的排序是:

单数:you, he/she and I 复数:we, you and they.

我、你、她将被飞机送往那儿。

You, she and I will be sent there by air.

我们、你们和他们都喜欢音乐。

We ,you and they all like music.

如果是做错了事,当事人应承担责任时,通常把第一人称I 放在句首。
