〖赛事介绍〗“挑战杯”赛事分为两个部分:大挑:“挑战杯”课外科技作品大赛(2013年为第13届)小挑:“挑战杯”创业计划大赛(2012年为第8届)“挑战杯”全国大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛是由共青团中央、中国科协、教育部、全国学联主办的大学生课外学术科技活动。
这是一项具有导向性、示范性和群众性的竞赛活动,每两年举办一届。

外国语学院第一届英语技能大赛亲,由外国语学院学生会公关部、办公室联合承办的外国语学院第一届英语技能大赛开始报名啦!!!一、活动主题英语沟通校园,激情放飞梦想Flying your dream, fly with your English二、活动时间初赛:4月18日决赛:4月25日三、活动地点初赛:教4-405 决赛:阶教-206(活动地点如有变动另行通知)四、奖项设置专业组、非专业组各一等奖1名、二等奖2名、三等奖3名、优胜奖若干名五、活动流程1. 预赛内容:以2-5人为一组(可以跨班级、专业),以团体的方式参加比赛比赛内容:情景模拟。
参赛选手可以根据小说、电影模仿场景或改变情节,也可以自己原创,设定一个情景。
主题不限,但要求内容积极向上,符合当代大学生的价值观,语种仅限英语,时间规定为5-10分钟。
由专业老师评分,最后根据分数高低,选前40%的团体进入决赛!2. 决赛内容:以个人的形式参赛(分专业组和非专业组)比赛内容:第一环节:个人PPT展示。
时间为10-15分钟。
主题为经济、科技、文化、政治四大类,参赛选手通过抽签选定一个主题,根据自身实际情况和对未来前景的看法制作PPT,阐述自己的观点。
第二环节:问答环节。
评委老师根据参赛选手的PPT作品及演讲提出问题,选手进行答辩。

首届Dyned杯英语演讲比赛决赛取得圆满成功
首届Dyned杯英语演讲比赛决赛取得圆满成功由外语自学与研究中心SEA团队发起的首届Dyned杯英语演讲比赛决赛于12月5日晚在诚信楼三层国际会议中心举行并取得圆满成功。
本次Dyned杯演讲比赛历时一个多月。
自十一月十七日至十一月二十七日为各院初赛阶段。
初赛战一经拉开,立即得到广大同学,尤其是大一新生的热烈响应。
经过激烈的初赛和半决赛阶段,最终有来自英语,人文,国贸,外语,工商,法律等院系的11位选手入围了12月5日晚的总决赛。
11位选手在定题演讲,问答和即兴演讲三部分充分展现了自己的英语表能力,他们出色的表现赢得了观众的阵阵掌声,最终的冠军由经贸学院大一新生胡秋伊获得。
为了保证本次比赛的质量,本届比赛同学们除邀请英语学院的知名教授作为评委外,还邀请了一些校外的著名人士担任评委。
其中有前任联合国副秘书长金永健先生。
金老先生在最后的点评中充分肯定了选手的出色表现,一句“I think most of you speak better English than some staffs working in the United Nations”让在座的同学信心倍增。
同时,金老先生也对同学们提出了更高的要求,如学一门语言还要学习其背后的文化等等,让同学们获益匪浅。
当晚,在座的二百多位同学还目睹了2002 CCTV杯全国英语演讲将比赛总冠军卜洋的风采,卜洋的幽默,机智和深厚的语言功底给同学们留下了深刻的印象。
作为当晚唯一一位外籍评委兼question master,北京中心项目学生发展部主席Peg女士的针对选手定题演讲的提问让同学们了解了一些西方人看问题不同的角度和方法。
Ian Adam 先生代表Dyned公司发表了简短的演讲,再次强调了Dyned的学习理念——反复跟读比较,以此来提高语言的准确性和应用能力。
这一点将对同学们今后的学习具有重要启示。
