The Coptic langu age, the only extant descendant o f Egyptian, is today the liturgical language of the Coptic Orthodox Church. Arabic came to Egypt in the seventh century and Egyptian Arabic has since become the modern speech of the country. Of the many varieties of Arabic, it is the most widely spoken second dialect, probably due to the influence of Egyptian cinema throughout the Arabic-speaking world.
Dress Yes, Egypt is a predominantly Muslim country, however they are pretty relaxed and accepting of other cultures and religions. Relying heavily on tourism, Egypt values its visitors and does not expect everyone to do everything their way. you can just dress like you would at home.

The ancient Egyptians built pyramids as tombs for the pharaohs and their queens. The pharaohs were buried in pyramids of many different shapes and sizes from before the beginning of the Old Kingdom to the end of the Middle Kingdom. There are about eighty pyramids known today from ancient Egypt. The three largest and best-preserved of these were built at Giza at the beginning of the Old Kingdom. The most well-known of these pyramids was built for the pharaoh Khufu. It is known as the 'Great Pyramid'.

Ramadan Festival 斋月节 The exact timing of this one-month long festival during the year is variable, However Ramadan is a month that follows the lunar calendar, the basis of the Islamic (or Hijri) calendar. The principal ritual during Ramadan festival is fasting. This entails abandoning eating, drinking, smoking or sinning from dawn to sunset. The daily meals become limited to two. However, it should be noted that during Ramadan festival in Egypt, most of the monuments and other tourist sites are officially open until 3:00 PM. However some of the less frequented sites may close earlier (2:00 PM).
