Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! It is our honor to stand here and share our speech with you. Today, our topic is about suggestions on successful job hunting for university students.
At present, with the development of society, the situation of employment is becoming more and more severe, especially, upon more and more college students graduating, they are going to confront with unemployment. Then what should the university students do to face the great challenges? Next, we will share a video with you. It is about some students' views on how to get a job successfully. And then, we will hold a mini job hunting scene. We sincerely hope you can enjoy it.
Firstly, we will analyze two highlighted problems existing in the process of job hunting. First, we would like to talk about the typical problems among overseas returnees with you. Most of the overseas returnees often feel confident excessively and take hunting a good job for granted; the things always go contrary to their wishes. Meanwhile, they always look down upon some small and low-salary companies, but when they have opportunities to choose the tremendous and high-salary enterprises, they cannot be qualified to the high position. This phenomenon is often called high scores low capabilities.As the problems of overseas returnees become more and more severe, occurring many popular words come from the Internet, such as Hai Tun (many overseas returnees are unemployed and stay at home) and Hai Dai (many overseas returnees wait for employment and stay at home).In other words,wearing the crown of overseas returnees is not meaning to get a good job. Therefore, no matter where we graduate from, we should upright attitude towards hunting job and try our best to improve ourselves.
Secondly, whether having work experience is another problem to be worthy to be discussed during the job hunting. Now, most of the employees go to hunt a job without work experience, especially college students. However, most of the enterprises frequently give priority to the employees with work experience during the process of job hunting. In accordance with the phenomenon, the unemployment rate of college students become higher and higher year after year. As we all know, college students spend so much time and energy in studying that they have not enough time to accumulate work experience on campus. In this way, university students should make a complete and reasonable plan for our time in order to hunt a job successfully in future; furthermore, college students should spend some time in doing part-time jobs and accumulating work experience.
Through the analysis of the two typical phenomena, we will give some suggestions about how to get a job successfully in detail. First, aim and goal is foremost for all of us to hunt a job successfully. As the saying goes, "a specific job hunt will be more efficient than a random one." In the video, the first man said that the key to hunting job successfully is having a definite goal. He wanted to be a sales manager, and he held the goal on his mind all the time. Then he went to take part in
some interviews about the position of sales manager. In consequence, he got the job what he wanted. It turns out to be that the goal is extremely crucial and essential for us to get a job successfully.
Second, we should make a full preparation for job hunting and find a proper and accurate position for us. Thinking twice, we should figure out these questions before stepping onto the road of job hunting. For example, some occupations have many positions and we always feel confused easily, so we should know deeply about the company and the position what we intend to be qualified. I ever watched a video about a college student to employ a job about sales, but he didn't know what he could be competent specifically. When the employers asked him what he really wanted, he could not reply to and he didn't know about the position at all. It is obvious that the student fail to get a job. Thus, making full preparation plays a vital and significant role in job hunting.
Third, when we step on the road of job hunting, we should learn to avoid the taboos of job hunting and show out our advantages. For example, we should observe the employers' words and gestures but not talk continuously. Besides, honesty is essential and significant for us, as the saying goes, "hold what you really know and tell what you do not know." Furthermore, we ought to control mood and ought not to feel sensitive and angry easily. Last but not least, it is ridiculous to pursue the high- salary and pleasant job blindly. In the light of the taboos, not only we should take pains to improve ourselves, but also we should read some valuable and useful books about job hunting to avoid these taboos when we step onto the road of job hunting.
Fourth, attitude determines everything. We should pay more attention to every job, no matter what is it high-level or not. Every job requires us to take it seriously. In addition, we need to respect every interviewer during interviewing. Some interviewee who graduated from famous school may look down upon interviewers due to their education background. This is a dreadful behavior. Each of us must hold sincere attitude towards the interviewers and the job what we want to be qualified. I remember watching a section of JOBS COME JOBS GO, it is about a girl to interview with excellent ability and modified attitude. It is deniable that she was competent to get a job easily, but she always maintained sincere attitude and smiled to the employers constantly. As a result, she succeeds in hunting a good and suitable job for herself just because of her constantly sincere attitude.
Finally, we will give two typical and triumphant examples to you during job hunting. The first one is Wang Wei, who a girl came from Heilongjiang and graduated from Yunnan Normal University Business School. She majored in preschool education at college, and she wanted to hunt a job of activity execution. When she graduated, she has worked as education trainer for two years and she collected much work experience. During the scene of hunting job, she held sincere attitude and respected every employer. In the end, she joined in the Enlighten Media and got what she wanted. From the beginning to the end, she performed very well and listened to advice willingly. Eventually, she got success. She sets a good example to us on how to make efforts to realize our dreams.
The other example is Li Jing. He is a second generation rich. Nevertheless, he
never showed off his wealthy family background. At the scene, he represented and behaved perfectly. He was honest and modified to communicate with the employers and answer the interviewers’ questions seriously. At last, he got a satisfying job.
Through the examples we find that all of us should learn from them and be confident in ourselves and try our best to achieve our goals.No matter how poor or rich, we should stick to our aim and try hard to implement our goals by ourselves.
In brief, although the situation of employment is severe and the unemployment rate is high, so long as can we keep the mentioned tips in mind, learn from the successful persons and hold our spirits up, we will get a job we want eventually.
