外销员外贸英语-考试题型描述和内容介绍1一、考试说明:外销员《外经贸英语》考试,既考查考生对英语基础知识的掌握程度,又考查考生运用英语理解和表达经贸内容的水平,是一种"基础"与"专业"相结合的综合英语考试。
经过几年的考试实践,试题的形式逐渐趋于稳定。
整个考卷分为七道大题。
每道大题中渗透了对基础英语和专业英语的考核,也就是说在各部分试题中基础和专业是不能截然分开的。
该考试要求考生的总体英语水平大致相当于大学非英语专业六级水平。
考生认知词汇应达到6000个以上(包括外经贸词汇术语),掌握运用的词汇和词组应达到2500----3000个,要求熟悉词与词的搭配,掌握正确的词序,区分常用词的风格及褒贬色彩。

oUR、YoUR在L/C中使用及交单——再评2000年全国外销员资格统考《外贸英语》之修改信用证一张德兰/四川省机械进出口公司《对外经贸实务》的2001年第3期“2000年全国外销员资格统考‘外贸英语’试卷评析‘三”’中,对根据合同条款要求客户对信用证进行修改的试题作了详尽的评析。
其实,该道考题除了作者指出的错误外,还存在另外两个错误:一是信用证当事人的关系错位,错误使用了oUR及Y0uR单词;二是交单期未加修改,与合同规定不符。
笔者作为二个实际工作者,想就这两个问题,对该考题信用证作补充修改。
一、理顺信用证当事人之间的关系。
正确使用0UR、YOUR1.信用证中的WE是指开证行,OuR是指开证行方面要理顺信用证当事人之问的关系,我们先来看看信用证的开立、通知流程图:1.签订合同卖方t—=————=j买方4.通知信用证通知行.-…………一开证行3.开出信用证从上图中,我们可以看出:在买卖双方签订合同后,根据合同条款的规定,买方向开证银行提出开立信用证的申请,开证银行开出信用证,通过通知行交给卖方。
信用证是开证行开立的,那么,信用证中的we应该是指开证行,our自然是指开证行方面的。
但在该道考试题中,关于对汇票(dr出)的描述:“开出以我们(开证行)的银行为汇票受票人的汇票并……Draftstobedmwnatsi小tonourbank肌d...…”这句话从表面上看似乎没问题,但实际上是错误的,汇票受票人是谁并不明确。
在信用证中,汇票受票人有三种情况:①onappliant(信用证申请人,即卖方),在此须说明的是,按照《ucP500》第9条b.(4)规定,“如果信用证要求汇票受票人为申请人,银行将把该汇票认为是附加单据”;②onus(我行,即开证行);③onx]()【bank(xxx银行)。
考题中的onourbank,不属于上述三种格式中的任何一种,如果开证行想指定某家银行为汇票受票人,那就应参照上述第三种格式明确规定:xxx银行为汇票受票人(onxxxbank),从考题所给资料,我们无法获取相应信息。

考试科目和时间:外销员资格统考采取全国统一命题、统一时间考试、统一阅卷的方式进行。
统考科目为“外贸综合业务”和“外贸外语”。
其中,“外贸外语”分为笔试和口试。
从2000年开始,外贸外语的口语考试及培训工作仍然由我院承担。
外贸外语的考试语种为英语、日语和俄语,由考生任选一种。
外销员资格统考成绩仍然保留两年,即允许参加考试者在两年内通过外销员资格统考的“外贸综合业务”和“外贸外语”及“外贸外语口试”,过期视作无效。
考试时间:2000年9月23日(星期六)上午8:30---11:30 外贸综合业务(笔试);下午2:00---4:30 外贸外语(笔试);9月24日(星期日)外贸外语口试。
