It follows the lives of two women, Becky Sharp and Amelia Sedley, amid their friends and family. The novel is now considered a classic, and has inspired several film adaptations. In 2003, Vanity Fair was listed at #122 on the BBC's The Big Read poll of the UK's best-loved books.The book's title comes from John Bunyan's allegorical story The Pilgrim's Progress, first published in 1678 and still widely read at the time of Thackeray's novel. In that work, "Vanity Fair" refers to a stop along the pilgrim's route: a never-ending fair held in a town called Vanity, which is meant to represent man's sinful attachment to worldly things.This novel is originated from the early 19th century British upper-class, mainly describes the two women's fate in different personalities, shows the world at that time the British society moral crisis and corruption, and expose and criticize the capitalistsociety, social change in temperature and the concept of money. My big brother told me all about it and it's so awesome!It starts off with these nine guys who get wrongly put in jail by some mean government officials. They end up escaping and running away to a place called Liangshan Marsh. That's where a whole bunch of other outlaws are hanging out too!The first leader of the group is this super strong guy named Song Jiang. He used to be a government worker but quit because of how corrupt everything was. Then you have characters like Wu Song who is famous for killing a man-eating tiger with his bare hands! How crazy is that?As more and more outlaws join up, they start getting into all kinds of exciting battles and adventures. They fight against armies and take over cities. It's non-stop action! My favoritecharacter is probably Lin Chong because he's an amazing fighter but also really loyal to his friends.What I thought was really cool is how they all have these awesome nicknames based on their personalities or abilities. Like there's "The Demon Whaler" and "The Scholarly Boxer" and "The Kungfu Monk". I wish I had a cool nickname like that!Even though they're considered outlaws, the Water Margin guys aren't really bad people. They're just rebelling against the corrupt government officials taking advantage of everyone. In a lot of ways, they're the good guys standing up for regular folks.I can't get over how epic some of the fight scenes are! Hundreds of warriors charging into battle, swords clashing, arrows flying everywhere. My brother acted out some of the scenes for me and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. 它不去促进国家的自由，也不去稳定西部的骚乱，更不好好以身作则教化国民。
美国人天生自带的性格，创造了美国人现在所有的成就，但如果没有政府干扰，他们还会做得更多。
政府作为表达人民意愿的一种工具，是一种可提供便利的权宜工具，人们非常乐意通过它保持彼此独立。
但正如我从前所说，当政府最大限度地行使权宜时，它就最大限度地独立了。
