A great deal of communicating is performed on a person-t o-person basis by the simple means of speech. If we travel in buses, buy things in shops, or eat in restaurants, we are likely to have conversations where we give information or opinions, receive news or comment, and very likely have our views challenged by other members of society.Face-to-face contact is by no means the only form of communication and during the last two hundred years the art of mass communication has become one of the dominating factors of contemporary society. Two things, above others, have caused the enormous growth of the communication industry. Firstly, inventiveness has led to advances in printing, telecommunications, photography, radio and television. Secondly, speed has revolutionized the transmission and reception of communications so that local news often takes a back seat to nationalnews, which itself i s often almost eclipsed by international news.Extra Passage 12 Key: BDCBUnit 13Text: ExercisesA: aB. 1.c 2.d 3.c 4.a 5.d 6.b 7.a 8.bD. 1.c 2.b 3.a 4.d 5.a 6.c 7.a 8.b 9.d 10.bFast reading1.c2.d3.a4.c5.c6.c7.a8.c9.c 10.d 11.b 12.d 13.b 14.d 15.bHome Reading1.b2.d3.b4.c5.c6.b7.d8.dCloze 13Imagining being asked to spend twelve or so years of your life in a society which consisted only ofthere was something definitely wrong with you, you wouldn’t be too happy about it, to say the least. Itabnormal conditions on their children – conditionsone minute!Any discussion of this topic is bound to question the aims of education. Stuffing children’s heads full of knowledge is far from being foremost amongrequire to take their place in adult society. Now adult society is made up of men and women, so how can a segregated school possibly offer the right sort of preparation for it? Anyone entering adult society after years of segregation can only be in for a shock.nothing less than a true version of society in miniature. Boys and girls are given the opportunityto get to know each other, to learn to live together from their earliest years. They are put in a positionand many of the extra-curricular activities which are part of school life. What a practical advantage it is ( to give just a small example ) to be able to put on a school play in which the male parts will be taken by boys and the female parts by girls! What nonsense co-education makes of the argument that boys are cleverer than girl or vice-versa. When segregated, boys and girls are made to feel that they are a race apart. Rivalry between the sexes is fostered. In a coeducational school, everything falls into its proper place.Extra Passage 13 Key: DCDAUnit 14Text: ExercisesA: cB. 1.d 2.d 3.c 4.a 5.d 6.d 7.a 8.bD. 1.d 2.a 3.c 4.a 5.d 6.b 7.a 8.b 9.a 10.d11.bFast reading1.d2.d3.a4.b5.b6.b7.d8.d9.c 10.a 11.d 12.c 13.a 14.c 15.bHome Reading1.c2.d3.c4.d5.a6.d7.dExtra Passage 14 Key: CACCDUnit 15Text: ExercisesA: cB. 1.a 2.b 3.b 4.a 5.c 6.b 7.c 8.c 9.d 10.b11.bD. 1.b 2.a 3.b 4.c 5.c 6.a 7.C 8.a 9.c 10.d 11.b12.bFast reading1.c2.a3.c4.c5.b6.a7.c8.c9.d 10.c 11.d 12.d 13.a 14.d 15.aHome Reading1.c2.d3.a4.c5.d6.d7.c8.cExtra Passage 15 Key: CBBDA赠送常用精致线性可编辑小图标。

I'm so excited to tell you all about my brand new English book that I just got. It's called the "New Experience Comprehensive English Course Book 4" and it's really thick with lots of pages. At first I was a little nervous because it looked so big and difficult. But then I opened it up and saw all the fun pictures and activities inside. It's gonna help me learn English in a totally awesome way!The first unit was all about daily routines. There were dialogues about kids waking up, eating breakfast, getting ready for school and that kind of stuff. I really liked acting out the conversations with my classmates. We took turns being the mom, dad, brother and sister characters. My friend Billy was pretty funny doing the little sister's high-pitched voice! The vocabularysection had words like "brush", "comb", "toothbrush" and "slippers". I made flashcards to practice them all. Then there were some reading passages about kids' morning schedules in different countries. I learned that students in Japan have to clean their classrooms before classes start! How cool is that? In the exercises, I had to put sentences into the correct order to match the readings. There were also true/false questions and nogle hunges to fill in the blanks. A little challenging but I tried my best.Probably my favorite part was the section on writing. It showed me how to use sequence words like "first", "next", "then", and "finally" to describe the steps in a process. I wrote a whole paragraph about my morning routine using all those words. I started with "First, I wake up when my mom calls me..." I was really proud of myself! The last part of the unit had a funny cartoon story about a boy who overslept and was rushingto get ready. We had to unscramble the pictures to put the story in order. Then we roleplayed acting it out. I got to be the boy and run around like I was panicking and late for school. So silly but so fun! That was just the first unit though. There's still so much more to cover! The next one is all about holidays and vacations. I can'twait to learn about celebrations in other countries. From the few pages I peeked at, it looks like there will be lots of engaging activities again. You know, this book is pretty challenging compared to our old textbooks. But that's great because it means I'm becoming an English expert! The readings and exercises really make me use my brain. Sometimes I get a little frustrated when I can't figure out an answer right away. But then I remember to not give up and keep trying my best. My teacher always says thatmaking mistakes is how we learn and improve. What I like most is how the book combines all the different skills like listening, speaking, reading and writing. Each unit has a nice mix of grammar, vocabulary, dialogues, readings and even games or project ideas. The colors and pictures make everything seem fun instead of boring. There are alsostickers and activity sheets to make my own project at the back. So cool!Overall, I'm really enjoying this new English course book. It's definitely a step up from what we used last year. But I'm working hard and having a blast learning all this new stuff. Maybe by the end of the book I'll be like a mini English teacher! Just call me Professor Amanda. Haha!Anyway, I better get back to studying Unit 2 on holidays. Gotta practice writing about my dream vacation. I'm thinking somewhere with beaches, sunshine and lot of ice cream! Yum, now I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Well, that's all for my book report. Thanks for listening, you guys are the best!篇3Big Experience University English Book Answers CompositionHi! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. My teacher Mrs. Robertson asked us to write a composition about the answers in our new university English book for adults. I thought it was a weird topic at first, but I'll give it a try!The book is really thick and has lots of pages. On the cover it says "Big Experience University English Comprehensive Course 4th Edition Volume 2." Just reading that title makes me feel smarter already! The authors have hard names to pronounce like Zhang Xudong and Zhou Hong. They must be really smart professors or doctors or something. When you open the book, the first few pages are the contents listing all the units and lessons. There are 8 total units, with 4 lessons per unit. Some examples of the lesson titles are"Exploring the Digital Frontier" and "Our Changing World." They sound interesting but also very adult and difficult! After the contents, there are some tips on how to use the book effectively. The tips seem helpful, like recommending to preview the text before reading, taking notes, and reviewing after each lesson. Tips like these are good reminders for study skills. Then the units start. Each unit has 2 reading passages about the overall theme. The passages are long and have some very big words I've never heard before. Like the first one uses words like "paradigm shift" and "ubiquitous computing." I had to ask Mrs. Robertson what those meant! She said they are advanced vocabulary. After the readings, there are vocabulary exercises related to the words used in the passages. These look difficult because you don't just match words, but have to define them, use them in sentences, find synonyms and antonyms, and more. Definitely vocabulary for university students.Up next are the comprehension questions about the reading passages. These ask things like the main ideas, what certain details referred to, making inferences, and giving your opinion.Reading at this level and analyzing it would be hard for me right now, but good practice to work up to.Then there are some speaking exercises where you discuss, debate, and present ideas from the readings. Speaking drills like these seem helpful to build communication skills for college classes. After that comes listening exercises. These look challenging because the prompts are lectures or conversations using academic language on the topics from the readings. You have to answer questions testing different listening skills. Listening comprehension is my weakest skill, so these would be extra tough for me presently.Towards the ends of each unit are writing exercises. These have you write essays, reports, reviews, proposals, and other pieces related to the unit topics. Writing is one of my favorite activities, but writing at a university level using proper structure and formality would take lots of practice. Finally, the units have some fun extras like debates, group research projects, and class activity ideas. These seem like nice ways to be creative and collaborate with classmates.Whew, that's a lot of content! After going through this book section-by-section, I have a much better appreciation for how advanced the material is. All of the reading, vocabulary, listening, speaking, and writing exercises appear very rigorous. While I can't fully understand everything in this book right now, I can see how diligently working through it would tremendously improve one's overall English proficiency to a true university level. By consistently applying effort, I could slowly develop the skills needed to comprehend, articulate, and communicate complex ideas in English as a young adult. In the future, I hope to be studious like the imagined users of this book. Then I could discuss "ubiquitous computing paradigms" and their relation to "the digital frontier" of our "changing world" as naturally as describing my hobbies! For now, I'll celebrate small steps and be grateful for the opportunity to one day work towards that level of sophisticated English ability.Giving an honest attempt at this essay has reminded me that I have so much more to learn, but also that I'm making progress every day. With patience and hard work, I can make my big experience learning English too! Thanks for letting me share my thoughts, Mrs. Robertson. I'll keep studying hard!篇4My Summer VacationLast summer was the best summer ever! I went to the beach with my family. We built huge sandcastles and swam in the ocean. The water was so blue and pretty. I even saw some little fish swimming around my feet which was kinda weird but still cool. For lunch we had hot dogs and ice cream cones. Yum! I got a little sunburned but it didn't bother me too much. I just put on more sunscreen the next day. We also went mini golfing one day.I came in second place behind my older sister. Maybe next time I'll win! All in all, it was an awesome vacation. My Favorite HolidayChristmas is 100% my favorite holiday, no question! I love decorating the tree with my parents. We make popcorn garlands and string up the colored lights. Dad always lets me put the star on top. Then we bake lots of yummy cookies like chocolate chip, sugar cookies with sprinkles, and peanut butter blossoms. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! On Christmas Eve, we go to my grandma's house and my cousins are there. We play games and watch Christmas movies. Finally, it's Christmas morning! I rush downstairs before my parents wake up to see allthe presents under the tree. This year I got a new bike, some legos, art supplies, and clothes. Spending time with my family is the best part though. Christmas is just the best!If I Could Be Any AnimalIf I could be any animal, I would want to be a dolphin. Dolphins are so smart and playful. They swim fast and jump really high out of the water. I saw them at an aquarium once and they were doing flips and tricks. A dolphin trainer threw them fish as a reward when they did a good trick. That looks like a fun job! Dolphins are also very social animals. They travel together in pods and talk to each other by making clicking sounds. Maybe if I was a dolphin I could communicate with them and be part of their pod. We could migrate together and see different parts of the ocean. I'd get to spend all day swimming instead of being stuck in a classroom. Yep, being a dolphin would be awesome! The Best Book I've ReadMy favorite book is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling. Harry is a regular kid who finds out on his 11th birthday that he's actually a wizard! He gets invited to attend the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At Hogwarts, Harry learns all about magic spells, potions, flying on broomsticks, and more. He becomes best friends with Ron Weasley and HermioneGranger. Together, they go on magical adventures and have to defeat the evil Lord Voldemort. There are trolls, unicorns, owls that deliver the mail, and so much cool stuff! My favorite part is when Harry gets his wand at Ollivander's shop and heads off to Hogwarts for the first time. I wish I could go there too! The book is just so imaginative and fun to read. I can't wait to read all the other Harry Potter books. That covers a range of writing prompts an elementary student might see, all written from a child's perspective and enthusiastic tone. I tried to incorporate lots of descriptive details, simple language, short sentences, and expressions of wonderment appropriate for that age level. Let me know if you need any other examples!篇5My Big Book of Essay AnswersHello everyone! My name is Timmy and I'm 9 years old. I just finished the 4th grade and I'm so excited for summer vacation! One of my favorite things to do is practice my English writing. I really like the "New Comprehensive College English Course Book 4" that my brother uses for his university classes. There are lotsof fun essay prompts to write about. Let me share some of my essay answers with you!Unit 1 was all about describing people. The first writing asked me to describe my best friend. Here's what I wrote:"My best friend is Tommy. He is 9 years old just like me. Tommy has brown hair and green eyes. He is a little shorter than me but we are almost the same height. Tommy is really good at sports, especially baseball. He is the fastest runner in our class. Tommy is also very funny and always makes me laugh with his silly jokes. We have been best friends since kindergarten and I'm so lucky to have such a great pal!"For the next essay, I had to describe a famous person I admire. This is my answer:"I really admire the scientist Marie Curie. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and even won it twice - once for physics and once for chemistry! Marie Curie discovered two new elements, radium and polonium. She had to work very hard because when she was young, not many girls were allowed to go to school or university. But Marie never gave up on her dream of becoming a scientist. I admire her courage, intelligence and determination."Unit 2 was about describing places. One prompt asked me to write about my favorite room at home. Here's my description:"My favorite room at home is my bedroom. It has light blue walls and a big window that lets in lots of sunlight. I have a cozy bed with a soft green blanket. Next to my bed is a small nightstand where I keep my favorite books. On the other side of my room is my desk where I do my homework. I have a big bulletin board above my desk covered in photos of my family and friends. My room isn't very big but I think it's the coziest place in our whole house!"Another prompt wanted me to describe an outdoor place I enjoy. This was my response:"One of my favorite outdoor places is the park near my house. It has a great playground with swings, monkey bars, and a big twisty slide. There is also a sandbox perfect for building castles. In the middle of the park is a huge grassy field where people have picnics or play frisbee. All around the edge are walking trails surrounded by pretty flowers and tall trees. In the spring, kids chase butterflies and in the fall we collect colorful leaves. The best part is the pond with ducks swimming around. I love feeding the ducks stale bread crusts with my mom."Those were some of my favorite writing prompts from Units 1 and 2. Units 3 and 4 had some trickier topics that really made me use my imagination!Unit 3 focused on writing narratives and stories. For the first prompt, I had to write a short fictional story that included the line "It was a dark and stormy night." This is the wacky tale I came up with:"It was a dark and stormy night when I heard a knock at the front door. I pulled my blanket up over my head, hoping it wasn't a monster coming to eat me! The knock came again, louder this time. Slowly I tiptoed down the stairs and peeked through the window. There on my porch sat a small green alien holding an umbrella! I opened the door and said "Please come in Mr. Alien, you must be soaking wet!" The alien smiled and replied in a funny squeaky voice "Thank you young earthling! My spaceship ran out of fuel and I need shelter from this terrible storm." From that night on, the alien became my new best friend. Every stormy night he knocks on my door for us to have crazy adventures together!"For another story prompt, I had to continue a narrative based on the opening line "I'll never forget the day I got lost in the forest." Here's how I continued the tale:"I'll never forget the day I got lost in the forest. I had gone hiking with my dad to explore the woods and look for cool bugs. But before too long, the trees all started looking the same and I couldn't remember which way we had come from. I started feeling scared until I saw a trail of candy on the ground. Following the gummy bear trail, I walked and walked until I came across a little cottage made of gingerbread and peppermint candy! An old woman opened the door and said "Don't be afraid, come inside and have something to eat!" At first I was nervous, but then I was so hungry that I went inside. The inside of the cottage was made of all kinds of yummy treats! Suddenly, the front door slammed shut and locked. The old woman cackled and admitted she was an evil witch who loved eating little kids! I had to think fast to outsmart her and escape from her sugary cottage. In the end, I..."Oops, I ran out of room to finish that story! You'll have to use your imagination for how I outwitted the wicked witch. The last unit was all about opinion essays and persuasive writing. One prompt wanted me to convince my parents to get the family a puppy. Here's my persuasive argument:"Dear Mom and Dad, we simply MUST get a puppy! There are so many great reasons why having a dog would be wonderfulfor our family. First, dogs make awesome pets and companions.A puppy would be so much fun to play fetch with and could even learn cute tricks. Dogs can also teach kids responsibility by helping to take care of feeding and walking the new pup. Plus, dogs provide emotional support and have been proven to make people happier and less stressed. Our house would be filled with more laughter, cuddles and slobbery kisses with an adorable furry friend! Not only that, but having a guard dog would make our home much safer and more secure. The puppy could be trained to bark and scare off any potential burglars or trespassers. Just last week, the neighbors' loud dog barking alerted them to someone suspicious lurking in their backyard.Lastly, dogs need daily exercise which would motivate our whole family to get outdoors more for walks and playtime. We could take advantage of the nice parks and hiking trails in our area. Getting regular physical activity is so important for our health.I hope I have convinced you that a puppy would be an incredibly wise, beneficial addition to our family. We would cherish and love the new pup so much! I pinky promise to be extremely responsible and help take excellent care of our newfurry best friend. Please pretty please can we get a puppy?! Woof woof!"Well, those were some of my favorite essay answers from the book! Writing is like going on a fun adventure using just my imagination and words. I really enjoyed getting to be creative and descriptive with my writing. Getting good at English essays has definitely helped prepare me for the harder writing I'll have to do when I'm older. But for now, I'm going to go outside and play! Thanks for reading my essay answers. Write on!篇6My Favourite AnimalMy favourite animal is the elephant! Elephants are so big and strong. They have really long noses called trunks that they use to pick up things. Elephants are grey and wrinkly and they have huge floppy ears. They live in hot places like Africa and India.I like elephants because they are smart and they never forget anything - they have great memories! Elephants travel together in big family herds led by an older female elephant called the matriarch. The elephant babies are so cute and cuddly! I would love to have a baby elephant as a pet but I don't think my mom would let me.Elephants make really loud trumpeting noises with their trunks. They communicate with each other by making rumbling sounds too. If I could talk to an elephant, I would ask it what it's like to be so huge and have such a long nose! I wonder if they get annoyed when their trunks get in the way.Sometimes bad people hunt elephants for their ivory tusks, which is very sad. We need to protect the elephants so they don't become extinct. If I grew up, I would want to be an elephant researcher or work at an elephant sanctuary to take care of them. Elephants are just the coolest animals ever!My Best BirthdayLast year for my 9th birthday was the best birthday ever! A few weeks before my birthday, my mom asked me what kind of party I wanted. I told her I wanted to have a sleepover birthday party and invite all my best friends to sleep over at our house. My mom said that was a great idea.About a week before my birthday, my mom took me to the party store to pick out decorations and supplies. I got Pokémon themed plates, cups, napkins, banners, and balloons. I was so excited! Then we went and rented a bouncy castle that looked like Pikachu's face to set up in our backyard. Finally, my birthday came! In the morning, I opened my presents from my family. I got a new bike, some Lego sets, books, and video games. After that, my friends started arriving around lunchtime for the party. There were pizzas for lunch along with a cartoon character cake shaped like Bulbasaur. After we ate, we went outside to take turns jumping around in the bouncy castle. It was so much fun! We played Pokemon games where we pretended our trading cards could battle each other. Later we went inside and played some Nintendo Switch games together too. When it started getting dark, we had a campfire in the backyard and roasted smores and hot dogs. We told scary stories and my friends Emily and Jacob totally got freaked out! After the campfire we all came inside and got ready for bed. We stayed up really late watching movies and telling jokes until we all finally fell asleep around 3am!The next morning, my mom made us all a big pancake breakfast. Then my friends' parents came and picked them up. It was seriously the best sleepover party ever. I felt so lucky to have such great friends to celebrate my 9th birthday with me in such a fun way. I'll never forget that awesome night!。

英语自我评价与提升四年级下册答案
英语自我评价与提升四年级下册答案全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Hello everyone! I am so excited to share my self-assessment and improvement plan for the second semester of fourth grade. Here are my answers for the self-evaluation questions:1. English Reading- I think I am pretty good at reading English books and understanding the stories. I enjoy reading different kinds of books and try to read a little bit every day.2. English Writing- Writing in English is not my favorite thing to do, but I know it is important to practice. I need to work on my spelling and grammar to make my writing better.3. English Listening- I like listening to English songs and watching English movies. I can understand most of what is being said, but sometimes I miss key information.4. English Speaking- I am a little shy when it comes to speaking English in front of others. I need to practice speaking more with my friends and teachers to improve my confidence. Now, here are some ways I plan to improve in the next semester:1. I will try to read more challenging books to expand my vocabulary and improve my reading skills.2. I will practice writing short stories and essays to work on my spelling and grammar.3. I will listen to English podcasts and news to improve my listening skills and expose myself to different accents.4. I will participate in English-speaking activities at school and try to speak up more in class.I hope to see improvements in my English skills by the end of the semester. Thank you for reading my self-assessment and improvement plan!篇2Hi everyone, I'm a fourth-grade student and today I want to share with you my self-evaluation and ways I can improve in the second semester.First of all, in English class, I think I have been doing quite well. I can understand most of the teacher's instructions and I can read and write simple sentences. However, I know I need to practice more on my pronunciation and spelling. Sometimes I mix up words that sound similar and make mistakes in my writing. So, in the next semester, I will focus on practicing pronunciation by listening to English songs and watching English cartoons. I will also pay more attention to spelling by practicing with flashcards and spelling games.Secondly, in speaking English, I feel a little shy and nervous to speak in front of the class. I know that practicing speaking is important to improve my English skills. So, in the next semester, I will try to speak more in class and participate in English activities.I will also practice speaking with my classmates during break time.Lastly, I enjoy doing English exercises and homework. I like to challenge myself with new vocabulary and grammar rules. I think doing more exercises and reading English storybooks can help me improve my English skills. In the second semester, I willmake a study schedule to review what I have learned and do extra exercises to strengthen my English knowledge. In summary, I believe that with more practice and dedication, I can improve my English skills in the second semester. I will work hard to become better at pronunciation, spelling, speaking, and understanding English. I hope that my efforts will pay off and I can achieve higher grades in English class. Thank you for listening to my self-evaluation and improvement plan! That's all for today. Thank you!篇3Hello everyone, I am a fourth-grade student and I want to share with you my self-evaluation and how I can improve in the second semester of fourth grade.First of all, let's talk about my strengths. I think I am good at English because I can read and write quite well. I also enjoy participating in class discussions and sharing my ideas with my classmates. In addition, I am good at math and I always try my best to solve the problems accurately. However, I know there are areas where I can improve. For example, sometimes I get a little nervous when it comes tospeaking in front of the class. I also need to work on my handwriting and make sure it is neat and legible. Furthermore, I could spend more time studying science and history, as these subjects are not my strongest. In order to improve in the second semester, I have come up with a plan. Firstly, I will practice speaking in front of the mirror every day to build my confidence. I will also work on my handwriting by writing neatly in all my assignments. Additionally, I will set aside time each day to study science and history, maybe by watching educational videos or reading books on these topics.Overall, I am excited to continue learning and growing in the second semester of fourth grade. I know that with hard work and dedication, I can improve in areas where I need to and continue to excel in subjects that I am already strong in. Thank you for listening to my self-evaluation and improvement plan!篇4I'm a fourth grader and today I want to share with you my self-evaluation and improvement plan for the second semester. In terms of English, I think I have made great progress compared to last semester. I can now write simple sentences andhave learned many new vocabulary words. However, my pronunciation still needs improvement, so I will practice speaking English more.In math, I have gotten better at addition and subtraction, but I still struggle with multiplication and division. I will ask my teacher for help and practice more at home to improve my math skills. As for my behavior, I have been working on being more patient and respectful to my classmates and teachers. I will continue to be kind and helpful to others to become a better student and friend. In order to improve my English, math, and behavior, I have come up with a plan. I will spend more time reading English books and watching English videos to improve my language skills. I will also practice math problems every day to get better at multiplication and division. Finally, I will continue to be kind and respectful to others to create a positive learning environment.I am excited to continue learning and growing in the second semester. I will work hard to achieve my goals and become a better student. Thank you for listening to my self-evaluation and improvement plan!篇5As a fourth grader, I feel that my English has improved a lot throughout the past semester. I have learned many new words, grammar rules, and ways to express myself in English. I would like to share with you my self-evaluation and goals for improvement.First of all, I feel that my vocabulary has expanded significantly. I have been keeping a vocabulary notebook where I write down new words and their meanings. I try to use these words in sentences to help me remember them better. I also enjoy reading English books and articles, which has helped me learn new words in context.Secondly, my grammar has improved as well. I have been focusing on using the correct verb tenses, articles, and prepositions in my sentences. I have also been practicing forming questions and negative sentences, which has helped me become more confident in my English grammar skills. One area that I still need to work on is my pronunciation. Sometimes I have trouble pronouncing certain sounds or words correctly. I have been practicing speaking out loud and listening to native English speakers to improve my pronunciation. I knowthat with more practice, I will be able to speak English more fluently and clearly. In order to continue improving my English, I have set some goals for myself for the next semester. Firstly, I want to increase my speaking and listening skills by practicing speaking with my classmates and listening to English songs and podcasts. Secondly, I want to focus on writing more complex sentences and paragraphs to improve my writing skills. I am excited to continue learning and growing in my English skills, and I am confident that with hard work and dedication, I will achieve my goals. Thank you for reading my self-evaluation and goals for improvement!篇6Hello everyone! My name is Lily and I am a fourth grade student. Today I want to share with you my self-evaluation and how I can improve in the second semester of fourth grade.First of all, I think I have improved a lot in English this semester. I can now speak and write more fluently than before. However, I still need to work on my grammar and spelling. Sometimes I make mistakes with verb tenses and forget to capitalize certain words. So I will try to pay more attention to these areas and practice more.In terms of math, I have been doing well in solving addition and subtraction problems. But I still find multiplication a bit challenging. I will ask my teacher for extra help and practice more at home to improve my skills in multiplication. As for science, I really enjoy conducting experiments in class.I have learned a lot about plants, animals, and the environment. But I need to work on taking better notes during lessons so that I can remember the information more easily. I will also try to participate more in class discussions and ask more questions when I don't understand something. In social studies, I have been learning about different cultures and countries around the world. It's really interesting to see how people live in other parts of the world. I will continue to read more books and watch documentaries to expand my knowledge in this subject.Overall, I think I have made good progress this semester, but there is still room for improvement. I will continue to work hard, ask for help when I need it, and stay focused on my goals. I am excited to see how much I can achieve by the end of the school year!Thank you for listening to my self-evaluation. Let's all work hard together and have a successful semester!。

六年级上册英语范文六篇
六年级上册英语范文六篇1When I look back at the first half of the sixth grade, so many wonderful memories flood into my mind. One of the most unforgettable experiences was the school sports meeting. All of us were so excited and couldn't wait to show our strength and spirit! We practiced hard for days before the event. On the big day, my classmates and I ran as fast as we could, shouted as loudly as we could. We were all sweating, but nobody gave up! How amazing it was when we worked together and did our best for the honor of our class! Another great moment was the class activity of making a big poster for the school art show. We had different ideas at first, but finally, we decided to combine all the good ones. Everyone contributed something, some drew, some wrote, and some pasted. We were like a big family, helping and encouraging each other. Wasn't it wonderful? These experiences taught me the importance of teamwork and friendship. I will always remember these precious moments in my heart! How lucky I am to have such a wonderful class and such great friends!2When I was in the first semester of the sixth grade, I faced a big problem in my math study. The math problems seemed like huge mountains that I couldn't climb! How could I overcome them? I decided tostudy hard every day and do extra exercises. At first, it was so difficult! But I didn't give up. I asked my teacher and classmates for help. They were so kind and patient! With their support and my continuous efforts, gradually, I understood those difficult problems. Wow, what a great feeling of achievement!Another memorable thing was when my classmate was in trouble with his English homework. I decided to help him. We studied together, practiced speaking and writing. Wasn't it wonderful to see his progress and the smile on his face? Through this experience, our friendship became deeper and stronger. In the sixth grade, I learned that as long as we are determined and don't fear difficulties, we can make progress and gain precious friendships. How amazing this journey has been!3When I was in the first semester of grade six, I had an unforgettable experience with my teacher. One day, I was struggling with a difficult math problem and felt so frustrated that I almost gave up. Just then, my teacher came to my side and gently said, "Don't worry, dear. Let's think about it together." Her words were like a warm ray of sunshine in the cold winter, giving me the courage and confidence to keep trying. With her patient guidance, I finally solved the problem! How wonderful it was!Another time, I made a mistake in class and was very scared of beingscolded. But instead of scolding me, my teacher looked at me with kind eyes and said, "Everyone makes mistakes. The important thing is to learn from them and grow." Those words made me understand that mistakes are not the end but a chance to improve. Oh, how lucky I was to have such a wise and understanding teacher! There was also a time when I was too nervous to give a presentation in front of the class. My teacher encouraged me, saying, "Believe in yourself! You can do it!" Her encouragement filled my heart with strength, and I successfully completed the presentation. Wow, what a great feeling it was! These warm interactions with my teacher have left a deep impression on me. They have not only helped me grow academically but also taught me valuable lessons in life. I will always remember and be grateful for my teacher's kindness and wisdom.4Last semester, when I was in the sixth grade, our class went on an unforgettable field trip to a farm. Oh my goodness! It was such an amazing experience. When we arrived at the farm, the fresh air and vast fields greeted us. We saw rows of green vegetables and fruit trees full of ripe fruits. How wonderful it was!We got the chance to pick fruits ourselves. The apples were so red andjuicy. I couldn't help exclaiming, "Look at these apples! They are so perfect!" And when we picked strawberries, everyone was so careful, afraid of damaging them. Then, we helped the farmers water the vegetables. It was not an easy job, but it made us understand the hard work of farmers. "Wow, farming is not easy at all!" we all shouted. That day at the farm was so much fun. We not only enjoyed the beauty of nature but also learned the value of labor. How I wish we could have more such activities!5During the first semester of the sixth grade, I had some truly wonderful experiences in various clubs. I joined the painting club, and it was amazing! How exciting it was to express my creativity on the canvas and show my talent to others. Every time I picked up the brush, I felt like I was in a world full of colors and imagination.I also participated in the music club. Oh, what a charming place it was! The beautiful melodies filled the air and touched my heart deeply. I enjoyed singing and playing musical instruments with my friends. It made me feel so happy and relaxed. In the dance club, I learned different dance styles. Wasn't it interesting?I could move my body freely and gracefully. The feeling of expressing myself through dance was just incredible. The calligraphy club was also a great choice. The strokes of the brush on the paper were like magic, creating beautiful words. How amazing it was to master this ancient art form!Joining these clubs not only enriched my school life but also allowed me to discover my potential and interests. How wonderful it was to have such opportunities in the sixth grade!。
