第四章阅读理解第一节命题分析1. 考核要求全国大学生英语竞赛A类初赛和决赛的赛题依据《非英语专业研究生英语教学大纲》命制,并借鉴国内外最新的测试理论和命题技术、方法。
命题参考了现行各种大学英语教材,但又不依据任何一种教材;非常贴近当代大学生的学习和生活,能较好地检测出参赛大学生的实际英语水平。
总体上讲,该部分题目主要考查参赛者快速阅读篇章,获取篇章中的重要信息并作出判断的能力;通读篇章,对篇章内每段文字信息及大意的概括能力;精读篇章,准确理解篇章信息及问题并正确作答的能力;准确把握文章大意及细节信息,补全文章大意的能力。
2. 出题形式2017年开始全国大学生英语竞赛阅读理解部分进行了部分改革。
该部分仍然包含四篇短文,篇章及题型按由易到难的顺序依次排列:A短文的测试题型为表格填空题,要求考生根据所读材料的内容,补全含有空缺的表格;B短文的测试题型为匹配题,给出一篇文章的若干个句子或段落标题,要求根据每段所讲述的内容从选项中选出最适合的填入文中空缺处;C短文的测试题型为简答题,要求考生根据所读材料的内容,简要回答题目所提出的问题;D短文的测试题型为摘要题,要求考生根据所读材料的内容,然后补全含有空缺的对所给材料的摘要。
3. 试题特点(1)题量大,时间紧,难度大问题的总数基本保持在20道题左右,共计35分,答题时间建议为20分钟左右,总阅读量大约为2500词左右。
要在20分钟左右的时间内完成这样的阅读量,还要完成多道客观题和主观题,必须达到一定的速度,这体现了题目设计者“重语篇,重速度,重能力”的指导思想。
(2)题材广泛,贴近现实生活文章内容的涵盖范围非常广,包括时事政治、人物传记、广告、各国文化、娱乐新闻、电影简介、社会现象、社会热点、奇闻轶事、科普文章等人们比较关注的话题,题材有议论、说明、记叙和应用文等。
通常文章都附有插图,为节省时间,迅速获得篇章信息,建议考生要观察并思索一下图片。
(3)题型较为新颖阅读题型种类多,出题方式灵活,题型“求新求变”是全国大学生英语竞赛的突出特点。

2. 试题结构听力理解部分共30题,共计30分,时间30分钟。
B类竞赛主要从四个方面来考查考生的听力理解能力:短对话、长对话、短新闻、复合式听写及摘要填空。
3. 试题特点1)题型的出题方式较为稳定,基本可归纳为四个方面:短对话、长对话、新闻、复合式听写及摘要填空。
需要说明的是,长对话部分在2017年开始改革,出题方式增加了判断正误题,Section D部分增加了复合式听写题。
另外需要说明的是,2018年听力部分进行了微调,短对话部分原来问题会显示在试卷上,现在改为在录音中读出,难度略有增加。
2)英语竞赛听力发音为标准的英音或美音,基本不会涉及方言;语速每分钟150词左右(六级或略高于六级水平)。
3)听力内容取材广泛,但不会涉及专业话题,基本为日常生活相关的内容,同时不乏一些社会热点,如埃博拉病毒、欧洲冠军联赛等。
