一般过去时态的教学设计

Step 1: Warm up

1. Let ’s chant :

What did you do? I swept the floor.

What did you do? I read a book.

What did you do? I drew pictures.

What did you do? I washed clothes.

What did you do? I cleaned the window.

Step 2:自主学习,合作探究

1. 引出动词——阅读小短文My morning ,让学生找出动词。

In the morning , I get up at half past five. I wash my face and brush my teeth . I run for thirty minutes on the playground .

I cooked meal for my family then I wake my son up . After we have breakfast , I take my little son to the bus and send him to school.

Step 3一般过去时:

1.一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态,常和表示过去的时间状语连用。一般过去时也表示过去经常或反复发生的动

作。

2.Be动词在一般过去时中的变化:

⑴am 和is在一般过去时中变为was。(was not = wasn’t)

⑵are在一般过去时中变为were。(were not = weren’t)

⑶带有was或were的句子,其否定、疑问的变化和is, am, are 一样,即否定句在was或were后加not,一般疑问句把was或were 调到句首。

3.句中没有be动词的一般过去时的句子:

否定句:didn’t + 动词原形,如:Jim didn’t go home yesterday.

一般疑问句:在句首加did,句子中的动词过去式变回原形。

如:Did Jim go home yesterday?

特殊疑问句:⑴疑问词+ did + 主语+ 动词原形?

如: What did Jim do yesterday?

⑵疑问词当主语时:疑问词+ 动词过去式?

如:Who went to home yesterday?

Step 4、小组合作探究与展示

(一)分小组讨论归纳出规则动词的过去式构成:

展示:

1、一般加ed ;

2、以e结尾的加d;

拓展:

3、以辅音字母加y结尾的改y为i加ed;

4、以辅元辅结尾的重读闭音节,双写末尾的辅音字母加ed

(二)分小组讨论归纳出不规则动词的过去式构成:

展示:

1、没有变化,如 : put -put

2、改变元音的,如 :ring – rang,run – ran,become - became

3、更特殊的情况,如:have – had,is – was,see – saw,leave – left,hide - hid

设计意图:

小组合作学习克服了以前教学的覆盖率不高、学生的实践机会不够多、训练不够充分的缺点,逐步改变了学生惰性较强、懒于开口、过分依赖教师的被动学习方式。在小组合作学习过程中,学生在知识、能力、兴趣、素质等方面相互沟通,相互认同,相互补充,相互影响,相互促进。这种学习方式可以解决个别差异,缩小两极分化,有助于因材施教。

Step 5、精读

1、Read the passage carefully and answer the questions:When did this story happen?

What did the neighbor look like?

What did lucy see about her neighbor?

How did they become friends?

通过回答后面三个问题,让学生能够基本复述这篇故事。

2、What did you learn from Lucy?

If you want others to be nice, be nice to them.

设计意图:从广义来说,外语教学的根本任务是使学生能够“使用所学到的外语达到交际的目的”。精读的目的在揣摩,在鉴赏,对一篇文章,不仅仅是做对后面的题目就完了,还要对文章的篇章结构、

段落逻辑、转折启承、关键句子、语法结构做一个透彻的分析,通过这样的训练,可以培养学生对文章的细节理解、把握能力,进而熟悉、领会其中的一些语法现象、句型、搭配等。
