它由Academic Press、Bailliere Tindall、Churchill Livingstone、Editions scientifiques et medicales Elsevier、Elsevier、Elsevier Advanced Technology、Elsevier Current Trends、Excerpta Medica、JAI、Mosby、North-Holland、Pergamon、W.B.

Thank you in advance for your help. Dear Editors,It is more than 12 weeks since I submitted our manuscript (No: ) for possible publication in your journal. I have not yet received a reply and am wondering whether you have reached a decision. I should appreciated your letting me know what you have decided as soon as possible. 1. This is a carefully done study and the findings are of considerable interest. A few minor revision are list below.2. This is a well-written paper containing interesting results which merit publication. For the benefit of the reader, however, a number of points need clarifying and certain statements require further justification. There are given below.3. Although these observation are interesting, they are rather limited and do not advance our knowledge of the subject sufficiently to warrant publication in PNAS. We suggest that the authors try submitting their findings to specialist journal such as –4. Although this paper is good, it would be ever better if some extra data were added.5. This manuscript is not suitable for publication in the journal of – because the main observation it describe was reported 3 years ago in a reputable journal of - .6. Please ask someone familiar with English language to help you rewrite this paper. As you will see, I have made some correction at the beginning of the paper where some syntax is not satisfactory.7. We feel that this potentially interesting study has been marred by an inability to communicate the finding correctly in English and should like to suggest that the authors seek the advice of someone with a good knowledge of English, preferable native speaker.8. The wording and style of some section, particularly those concerning HPLC, need careful editing. Attention should be paid to the wording of those parts of the Discussion of and Summary which have been underlined.9. Preliminary experiments only have been done and with exception of that summarized in Table 2, none has been repeated. This is clearly unsatisfactory, particularly when there is so much variation between assays.10. The condition of incubation are poorly defined. What is the temperature? Were antibody used? 1. In reply to the referee’s main criticism of paper, it is possible to say that –One minor point raised by the referee concerns of the extra composition of the reaction mixture in Figure 1. This has now been corrected. Further minor changes had been made on page 3, paragraph 1 (line 3-8) and 2 (line 6-11). These do not affect our interpretation of the result.2. I have read the referee’s comments very carefully and conclude that the paper has been rejected on the sole grounds that it lake toxicity data. I admit that I did not include a toxicity table in my article although perhaps I should have done. This was for the sake of brevity rather than an erroror omission.3. Thank you for your letter of –and for the referee’s comments concerning our manuscript entitled “”. We have studied their comments carefully and have made correction which w e hope meet with their approval.4. I enclosed a revised manuscript which includes a report of additional experiments done at the referee’s suggestion. You will see that our original findings are confirmed.5. We are sending the revised manuscript according to the comments of the reviewers. Revised portion are underlined in red.6. We found the referee’s comments most helpful and have revised the manuscript7. We are pleased to note the favorable comments of reviewers in their opening sentence.8. Thank you for your letter. I am very pleased to learn that our manuscript is acceptable for publication in Cancer Research with minor revision.9. We have therefore completed a further series of experiments, the result of which are summarized in Table 5. From this we conclude that intrinsic factor is not account.10. We deleted the relevant passage since they are not essential to the contents of the paper.11. I feel that the reviewer’s comments concerning Figures 1 and 2 result from a misinterpretation of the data.12. We would have include a non-protein inhibitor in our system, as a control, if one had been available.13. We prefer to retain the use of Table 4 for reasons that it should be clear from the new paragraph inserted at the end of the Results section.14. Although reviewer does not consider it is important to measure the temperature of the cells, we consider it essential.15. The running title has been changed to “”.16. The Materials and Methods section now includes details for measuring uptake of isotope and assaying hexokinase.17. The concentration of HA T media (page12 paragraph 2) was incorrectly stated in the original manuscript. This has been rectified. The authors are grateful to the referees for pointing out their error.18. As suggested by both referees, a discussion of the possibility of laser action on chromosome has been included (page16, paragraph 2).19. We included a new set of photographs with better definition than those originally submitted and to which a scale has been added.20. Following the suggestion of the referees, we have redraw Figure 3 and 4.21. Two further papers, published since our original submission, have been added to the text and Reference section. These are:22. We should like to thank the referees for their helpful comments and hope that we have now produced a more balance and better account of our work. We trust that the revised manuscript is acceptable for publication.23. I greatly appreciate both your help and that of the referees concerning improvement to this paper. I hope that the revised manuscript is now suitable for publication.24. I should like to express my appreciation to you and the referees for suggesting how to improve our paper.25. I apologize for the delay in revising the manuscript. This was due to our doing an additional experiment, as suggested by referees转载--SCI期刊投稿状态投稿术语名词解释1. 2. This assignment was completed by my own efforts and__________________________________ _5 november 2014your signature dateThis article is about where, on a scale of corporate greening, is MEC located? Personally speaking, I hold the believe that the scale of MEC is sustainable development. “Sustainable Development” is definite that “Meeting the need of thepresent without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”(Brundtland, 1987). As the introduction of MEC in official webside, “as a business- and as people – we operate with integrity and show respect for each other and the environment. For over 40 years we‟ve been dreaming big and demonstrating the best of what business can be in our society” . In this study, to confirm my opinion about the Scale of MEC from several sides. First of all, MEC‟s Vision, Philosophy and Objectives. Secondly, MEC‟s Policies and Practices. Lastly, MEC‟s Sustainability Commitments.MEC‟s Vision , Philosophy and ObjectivesMEC‟s Vision is to become “an innovative, thriving co-operative that inspires excellence in products and services, passion for wilderness experiences, leadership for a just world, and action for a healthy planet”(Sam, Esakin,C, & Pappin, 2012). In 2010 and 2012, MEC was regarded as the “Best 50 Corporate Citizens” by Corporate Knights, which seeks to provide leadership in sustainability, setting benchamarks in the outdoor retail industry.MEC‟s philosophy is “anchore in its operations, conducting business ethically and with integrity, respecting and protecting the natural environment while promoting personal growth”(Sam, Esakin,C, & Pappin,2012). Though the following strategic goals, MEC insists its sustainability principles and recognizes the limits to the carrying capacity of the planet, finding that health economy and society environment require a healthy , function and vibrant planet to thrive.such as “reducing material waste”, “Improve energy, water and carbon footprint”, “increase the culture of outdoor recreation” and “accelerate systemic change towards environmental, social and economic sustainability in the marketplace”.As a commercial entity, MEC‟s objective is “to provide highly durable and quality outdoor products and services and promote activities that enhance access to parks and other recreational facilities within the context oof a thriving environment”(Sam, Esakin,C, & Pappin,2012). MEC is an active player in sustainable development. Firstly, MEC will encourage members to lead healthy and active lives and to become stewards of the natural environment. Besides, it also promote wilderness conservation and responsible use of outdoor and recreational resources. Most importantly, MEC reduce the social and environmental impacts of products, services and operations, which is most effective and effient way to protect our environment. There are an example about MEC reducing social and environmental impacts. As we all know, Polyvinyl Chloride(PVC) is an unenvironmental chamical substance. The PVC products can leak dangerous additives and are difficult to recycle and mostly end up in landfills. However, PVC was in favor of a huge amount of manufacturing company, resulting from the fact that its cost is low. Insteading of using PVC as raw materials, MEC require products‟s raw materials must be natural and human-made, which is biodegradable and harmless to human body. This method for MEC is not maximum profit. MEC can earn more beneficial thought unenvironmental and non-sustainablily development measure, but they don‟t do that. MEC insist its objectives and philosophy, builting an sustainable development retail sector, which ought to be respect by all of us.MEC‟s Policies and PracticesSuccess requires strategic planning that is process-oriented and incremental in scope. Since its inception, MEC appears to have in corporated the “Triple Bottom Line” into its operations and continue to expand the scope of its sustainability activities. We will talk about key elements of MEC‟s sustainability policies and programs are discussed as follow.Product DesignMEC‟s policy advises “MEC does not design or buy products or use technologies that have unacceptable impacts on the environment” and “MEC also does not buy or design products specifically for motorized activities, neither does it design , make orsource products intended to kill or harm animals”(Sam, Esakin,C, & Pappin, 2012). What‟s more, the products design which make by MEC not only use investigation of material requirements and anlysis of the influences of materials on the environment, but also consider end use of the products and make recycling an integral part of the product design process. Therefore, 100% organically grown cotton in its brand clothing, which has eliminated PVC.Carbon FootprintsThought developing an Energy Master Plan (EMP)which provides a framework for making sound energy management decisions, MEC deeply reduce its carbon footprint down. MEC‟s policy advises to “phase out ozone-depleting substances from its heating and cooling systems was adopted” , which leading to the innovation of a greenbuilding program based on the “4R” principle: “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle & Rethink”.By the way, MEC not only pay more on attantion on control products quantity, but also require their employee having same mentality about protecting the world. For example, MEC claim it has a policy to “encourage the use of less polluting means of transportation to and from work by staff”. Providing no car parking for emplyees and pricing bike commuting by staff, all this method lead to the dates as follow. In 2010, 81% of staff took alternative modes of transportation (including biking walking, use of public transport and carpooling) to work with only 18% driving to work in single-occupancy vehicles.Waste ManagementMEC‟s waste management strategy started with analysis of its waste stream covering a period of five years.thought conducting waste audits every year, MEC can estimate the amount of waste it generates with the help of a third party.Based on MEC reports, “it uses chemicals with the lowest negative impact on the environment, such as non-chlorine bleach, minimizes the use of dark dyes which tend to have greater impact, and ensuring effluents are treated”. Further more,” To promote responsible waste m anagement, a product …take-back‟ program at the store level was put in place”. All this methods mentioned above, which can help MEC taking back 1.16 tonnes and 1.3 tonnes of batteries at certified take back facilities in 2010 and 2011.MEC‟s Sustainability Commitments“Mountain Equipment Co-op(MEC) is Canada‟s leading supplier of quality outdoor gear, clothing , and services aimed at helping people enjoy the benefits of self-propelled wilderness-oriented recreation. Founded by six people in 1971, MEC now has over three million members, making it the largest consumer co-op in the country”(Bains, 2009)It is under this background, MEC‟s Sustainability Commitments is about how to make the business, product, comsumption and local economy more sustainability.there is an example about it. MEC will provide a safe and respectful workplace where its employees are highly valued, treated fairly and encouraged to make a difference. Furthermore, in order to improve quatity of employees , MEC have a specific site for emplyees to write down what they do in the co-op and what they need to do it well.Personally speaking, I think this is an wonderful idea for employees to plan job schedule and improve personal ability.ConsultsAccording to definition of Sustainable development, there is no denying that MEC company is perceived to be a good example on the scan of sustainable development companies. No matter from the company‟s philosophy or its policies and pratices, all the evidence can prove MEC is an sustainable development companies. And MEC, this sustainable development company ,will push the green environment case to a higher mountain and protecting the environment efficientlyReferenceOxford University Press. (1987). Include names, affiliations, mailing addresses, voice and fax phone numbers, and e-mail addresses. If an article has more than one author, please designate one as the primary contact. Include the title of the manuscript on the abstract page and on the first page of the text. Please avoid indications of authorship whenever possible. This is commonly done by referringto oneself in the third person and including typical references to the work cited in the reference list. Assuming that the text references to an author’s previous work are in the third person, full citations should be included as usual in the references. Authors should not thank colleagues in notes, acknowledgments, or elsewhere in the body of the paper or mention institution names, Web page addresses, or other potentially identifying information. This information can be added if the manuscript is accepted.PAR readers cover a wide range of professional interests and specialties. Data sets should be open for public scrutiny and the research methodology employed adequately explained. Essays based on undisclosed or anonymous sources will not be accepted for publication.Tables, Figures, Charts, AppendicesPlease keep tables, figures, charts, and appendices to a minimum. Your text may highlight and summarize the main points in a table but it should not duplicate the details. Each table or figure should be on a separate page at the end of the manuscript. Indicate placement of tables, figures, etc. in the text as follows: leave two double spaces after the last line of preceding text; insert the sentence,
, and leave two double spaces before beginning the next line of text.Note that the words “table,” “figure,” “appendix,” etc. should be lowercase when referred to in the text. Zeros should be omitted before decimal points in tables, but not in the text. Please do not use heavy borders or shading. Centuries should be spelled out and lowercased.Decimal fractions: In the text, when a quantity equals less than 1.00, a zero appears before the decimal. (for example, 0.25). If the quantity is always less than 1.00, as in probabilities, correlation coefficients, and the like, a zero is typically omitted before the decimal point (p < .05, R = .10)Inclusive numbers: For information on inclusive numbers, see pages 395–97 of the Chicago Manual of Style, 15th edition.QuotationsQuoted matter that runs six or more typed lines or that involves two or more paragraphs should be set off as a block quotation; the quotation should start a new line, be set without quotation marks, and be set in 11-point type. Shorter quotations are run into the text and enclosed in quotation marks. Be sure to include page number(s) where quotation appeared.Quotation marks should be used to set off a word of unusual meaning or an unfamiliar, excessively slangy, or coined word the first time it is used. Quotation marks are unnecessary thereafter. Commonly known facts and proverbial, biblical, and well-known literary expressions do not need to be enclosed in quotation marks.CapitalizationWhen in doubt, do not capitalize. Italicize a word on its first occurrence; thereafter they are best set in roman. Italics may be used for emphasis and on the first occurrence.Citing Works within the TextTo cite the works you used in developing your article, use the author-date system. For each work to which you refer, supply the author’s last (family) name, date of publication of the work cited, and a page number(s) if needed. There should be a reference list entry for every text citation. (**Please note, no punctuation is used between author name and date). For example: (Smith 1993, 24) or (Jones 1992, 37–40)If you refer to an author in the text, the publication date and page numbers are a sufficient reference. For example: As Johnson argues (1994, 17)…If a work has more than three authors, use the name of the first author followed by et al. For example: (Davidson et al. 1990, 27)If you cite more than one work by the same author produced in the same year, distinguish among the works with an alphabetical identifier after the date. For example: (Lowi 1985a, 13; Lowi 1985b, 18).Assign letters to the dates of each work according to the alphabetical order of the titles of the works. For example: If you cite The City and Urban Policy by Smith and both were published in 1987, cite The City as (Smith 1987a) and Urban Policy as (Smith 1987b).If you cite an electronic source, include the author’s last name (or file name if author’s name is not available [for example, cgos.html]) and the date of publication or last revision (or date accessed if publication date is not available).NotesPlease DO NOT use footnotes. Use endnotes to elaborate or comment on material in the text and place them at the end of the text under the subhead “Notes.” Notes should not be created by use of the footnote or endnote feature of the word processor. PAR’s typesetting process cannot use endnotes prepared in this way. Endnote reference numbers in the text are set as superscript numbers—use the superscript feature under “Fonts” to insert endnote numbers. In the notes themselves, the numbers are full size (12-point, Times New Roman type) and followed by a period.References(For general information, please refer to the Chicago Manual of Style, 15th edition, Documentation I: Basic Patterns—The Author–Date System: Reference Lists and Text Citations. For more specific content, see Documentation II: Specific Content)Prepare a list of all the works you cite in the text and arrange them alphabetically by author’s last name (please include only the works that are cited in the text). If you cite more than one work by the same author, a 3-em dash replaces the name after the first appearance and the entries are arranged by the year of publication in ascending order (earliest to latest). If you cite more than one work by the same author published in the same year, arrange them alphabetically by title and distinguish them by putting an a, b, c, and so forth, following the year of publication. Titles and subtitles of books and articles in the references are capitalized headline style. Please include author’s full given name, instead of using initials.Examples of some of the more common reference list entries are as follows:Book, single author:Goodsell, Charles T. 1994.

第一段写你的目的第一段的第一句告诉未来老板你的信息来源,如果看广告得知,可以按以下的句型:From XXXX website (或其它来源) I learned about your need for a postdoctoral follow to investigate(职位的内容)in Department of Biology,in Nebraska Medical Center。

My adviser, XXXXX, never misses an opportunity to tell me of your need for a postdoctoral follow to investigate(职位的内容)in Department of Biology,in Nebraska Medical Center。

Assign2_standard

Assign2_standard

KXT201 AlgorithmsSecond (Individual) Assignment 2011Standard LevelDue: 3pm 26th MayDepth First Search Spanning Forest and Graph Edge Types IntroductionSimilarly to the first assignment, this assignment, which is worth 12% of the unit mark, and marked out of 24, can be attempted at two different levels – "standard" level, worth up to 21 marks, and "challenge" level, which includes the standard level and is worth up to 3 more marks. The standard level assignment is described here and the additional work for the challenge level, (which involves finding minimum cost maximum network flows), is described in a supplement. For the standard level part of this assignment you will need to write code that first creates a directed graph from input describing it, then repeatedly depth first searches it until every vertex has been visited, and finally prints out the type of each graph edge ("back", "cross", "forward" or "tree") in relation to the searching. The first depth first search of the graph must start from the lowest numbered vertex. Each subsequent depth first search of the graph must start from the lowest numbered vertex not visited in a previous depth first search. (The vertices' visited status must be retained across the searches on the graph, so that a vertex that has been visited in one search will not be revisited in a later search.) "Tree" edges are to be distinguished from other types of edge by marking tree edges as such during the searching. "Back" edges are to be distinguished from other edges using vertex postorder numbers assigned during the searching. This leaves the problem of distinguishing "cross" and "forward" edges, for which vertices are to be assigned preorder numbers. Preorder numbers correspond to the order in which vertices are visited: the first vertex visited has preorder number 1, the second vertex visited has preorder number 2, ... (for a graph with V vertices) the last vertex visited has preorder number V. You must work out for yourself how to use the preorder numbers to distinguish "cross" and "forward" edges — I suggest that you start by working through some examples, then thinking about the matter in general. The GraphThe graph will be a directed graph, with at least 1 vertex, (and at most 4000 vertices). Vertices will be numbered: 0, 1, 2, ..., V-1 for a graph with V vertices. The graph must be represented as required below, the input read as required below, and the output produced as required below. (The input will be correct, and no extra marks will be given for handling incorrect input.)TestingPrograms will be tested automatically on alacritas / lawson, similarly to the first assignment, and marks for each test will be awarded on a pass/fail basis. Example input and output files are provided in the assignment2 directories on alacritas and lawson.System AvailabilityExperience shows that, unfortunately, the computer system will probably be unavailable (e.g. due to a power cut) or practically unusable for much of the 72 hours before the deadline. This is not an unforeseeable misfortune of the type that might justify a request for an assignment extension.Data Structure RequirementsThe graph must be represented in an adjacency list form, with the implementation of the lists based upon the dummy header linked list code of the weekly work, modified as little as required. Each node in an adjacency list must be represented by a dynamically allocated struct of a type defined (with associated pointer type) as follows:typedef struct node *node_ptr;struct node{int to_vertex;int is_tree_edge;node_ptr next;};where (except for the dummy header node for which the first two items are irrelevant):to_vertex is the vertex to which the edge goes;is_tree_edge is used during the depth first searching to record whether the edge is a "tree" edge, 0 for no, 1 for yes — although there may be many trees in a search forest, no record is kept of which particular tree a "tree" edge is in, just that it is a "tree" edge;next is the pointer to the next node (/ NULL if this is the last node in the list). Each adjacency list must store its edges in ascending numerical order of "to" vertex. The adjacency list representation of the graph edges must be (what is commonly referred to as) a dynamically allocated array of (pointers to the dummy header nodes of) such lists, i.e. a pointer of the appropriate type:node_ptr *g;made to point to dynamically allocated memory of the required size, e.g. if n_vertices (an int) is the number of vertices, the dynamically allocated memory for g itself would be obtained thus:g = (node_ptr *) malloc(n_vertices * sizeof(node_ptr));The actual dummy header linked lists, (g[0] for vertex 0's adjacency list, g[1] for vertex 1's adjacency list, etc.) will need to be initialised after this. This must be the only representation of the graph itself, but you may use as many additional dynamically allocated arrays of ints as you wish, in the implementation of the algorithm, e.g. for the preorder numbers and postorder numbers. However, you must not make use of any other form of array, (e.g. a fixed size one of ints), or any other linked data structure.O() Running Time RequirementsThe running time of your entire program, not just all the required searching, must be at most O(V + E) for a graph with V vertices and E edges. Note:a) You can assume that there will not be any duplicate edges, i.e. for vertex x and vertex y, there can be at most one edge from x to y. (It is possible that there will also be an edge from y to x.)b) You can assume that each call to any of scanf, printf, malloc and free takes time that is O(1).c) Although the number of vertices is limited to 4000, the existence of this limit must be ignored for the purposes of the O() running time requirements. (Any use of the limit of 4000 in the code will be regarded as breaking the O() requirements.)d) You do not need to make any special effort to have good constants in the running time of your code, but equally, you must not make any effort to make it excessively inefficient in constant terms – the marker will limit the length of time for which they wait for a test to complete.Input and OutputInput must be read with scanf(). The input will contain only what is described here. The input will start with a line containing an integer specifying the number of vertices. This will be followed by the data specifying the outgoing edges from each vertex, (first the data about the outgoing edges from vertex 0, then the data about the outgoing edges from vertex 1, etc.). The data for each vertex will consist of a line containing an integer specifying the number of outgoing edges, followed by a series of lines, one for each outgoing edge from the vertex, each such line containing an integer specifying the vertex to which the edge goes. The outgoing edges of a vertex will be given in descending order of "to" vertex. The input1 file in the assignment2 directory specifies a problem based on this graph:The output must be produced with printf(). The output must contain only what is described here. The output must be (only) the classifications of the edges, in the order in which the edges must be in the adjacency list representation of the graph, (with the outgoing edges from vertex 0 first, then those from vertex 1, etc), one classification per line, each line for a "back" edge as would be produced by:printf("back\n");and correspondingly for "cross", "forward" and "tree" edges.(The output1 file is the output file for input1.)Submission of the AssignmentSimilarly to the first assignment, you must submit electronically the source files, an appropriate README (correctly named, plain text, with your name, your student ID number, and an appropriate brief description of your solution), and a completed electronic individual assignment cover sheet. However, the relevant directory is now named Standard2, and the submit commands are:kxt201-submit2-matt kxt201-submit2-mike(As mentioned in the first assignment it is possible to re-submit electronically if this proves necessary.)Reminder re Learning Outcomes /Assignment Individuality /Assignment Specification Clarifications /Advice On Doing A Programming AssignmentThe remarks of the first assignment apply.3516AssessmentThe marker will assess your assignment as follows:1. The marker will extract the files from your submission. If the files are present where required, including a correctly named README file of the right form, with the right information, this will be worth 2 marks. If you do not get the 2 marks, but there is only a single minor difference from what is required, this will be worth 1 mark.2. The marker will attempt to compile (and link) your submission (unaltered) using (exactly) the following command:gcc –Wall –ansi –pedantic –O *.cIf this produces the assignment executable, a.out, without any warnings (or errors), this will be worth 4 marks. If you do not get the 4 marks, but the marker is able to compile (and link) your submission (unaltered), as C, using gcc, to produce an a.out, this will be worth 1 mark.3. The marker will read your code. If it is easily readable and understandable, as is required, and your code appears to make a serious attempt to read the graph into the required data structure and depth first search it, they will assess the code style in general, such as readability or comprehensibility beyond minimum, out of 4 marks. For example, your use of indentation and blank lines will affect readability. (As before, you should assume that the readability is judged in terms of what the code looks like, when read with the "more" command, with standard tab settings of width 8.) Similarly your use of comments, choice of variable and function names, division of code into functions, and division of functions between files will affect comprehensibility.4. If you appear to have made a serious attempt to implement the required graph reading, searching and edge classification, using the required data structures, and the marker has been able to compile (and link) your code (unaltered) as C, using gcc, they will then assess code functionality by running your code on the tests. As shown in the table below, the marks obtained for passing a test depend upon whether you have met the O() running time requirements. (As tests are time limited, failing to meet running time requirements could cause a test to be failed.)Test 1 (input1)Test 2Passing with both required Data Structures and O()6 marks 4 marksPassing withrequired DataStructures, butnot O()3 marks 2 marks5. If it appears to the marker that your code might obtain more marks for functionality if a trivial mistake were corrected (e.g. the code fails all tests because there is an additional space being printed in one of your printfs), then they will correct the mistake and retest, awarding you half of any additional marks obtained as a result of their work. (You should not count on the marker getting right in a couple of minutes something that you have got wrong over a much longer period of time!)6. If your code as submitted uses the required data structures, meets all the O() requirements, and passes all tests, the marker will check whether all dynamically allocated memory is correctly explicitly freed before the program terminates, if so, this will be worth 1 mark.。

Marketing PlanProctor&Gamble(Pampers diapers)PrefaceThis assignment has on the international marketing plan of Pampers diapers from U.S to Shen Zhen,China.Pampers is one of the leader brands of baby product markets by Proctor&Gamble.Pampers is the No.1-selling diaper in China even worldwide.A.IntroductionA.1Pampers brand historyA.1.1InventionDisposable Diapers have come a long way since1961,when Victor Mills,an American chemicalengineer who, while working for the Procter&Gamble Co.,revolutionized child care with theinvention of the disposable diaper;in order to helphim better care for his own grandson.Since thenmoms have come to rely on them as a trustedgo-to product.(Study Pampers History)A.1.2LogoThe Pampers logo has undergone several changes throughout the years. Its current version is a typical example of a warm, instantly recognizable mark that reflects attributes such as love, light, sunshine and care.the logo featuresblue, yellow and white colors, all these colors exemplify excellence, happiness, purity and elegance. The font of the logo is a custom typeface.logo design history refer to the picture(Alex,N.2014).B.Current Situation Analysis.B.1Market Analysis. It is as terrible thing to launch Pamepersin China in1980’s.Because consumerssimply did not see a need for disposablediapers in those days.between traditionalcloth diapers and kaidangku,Chinesemothers felt that they had their babiescovered.Pampers is a product thatchanging consumer behavior to create amarket for it in China.Sameer,M(2013)’In2011,Chinese retail sales of diapers were around USD 4.33billion(RMB26billion),approximately the same as US sales. What makes China so attractive for P&G is that while diapers sales grew at26%over2010–2011,they declined by5%in the United States'.B.2Pampers Competitors in ChinaThere are many competitor in China diaper market.Such as Huggies,Merries,Mamy poko,Anerle(Owen by Hengan),Chinus,Fitti,Sealer Etc.But Huggies is the biggest competitor in China,Huggies are available in over50countries worldwide, including in North and South America,Asia/Pacific,Europe and the Middle East. They are also available in South Africa. In the Shenzhen of China, they are sold in a variety of retailers, including Walmart,Carrefour.B.2.1Competitor-based pricingBased on pricing at Walmart:From the following chart that easy to know that the their price are closely related.Unit Huggies PampersLittle Snugglers diapers Diaper$0.26snug and Dry diapers Diaper$0.24Little Movers Diaper$0.36Goodnites Diaper$0.79cruisers Diaper$0.35Swaddlers Diaper$0.31sensitive Diaper$0.35Underjams Diaper$0.67B.3Mode of EntryP&G entered China through a joint venture with a Hong Kong company,Hutchison Whampoa. The joint venture business formed another joint venture with Guangzhou Soup Factory and began producing P&G's first product for the Chinese market-Head&Shoulders shampoo.Within a year of launch,Head&Shoulders had gained about15%of the Guangdong market.C.Export CapacityC.1Large populationAs everyone’s know China is a country with large population.Year2002to 2012the birth rate is similar,But the population of China at the same period is different, this means Over30million babies experience the comfort and dryness of Pampers every day.C.2Rapid increase in consumer spendingOne-child policy in China, parents want to offer the best things to the only Child.Based on the increase of the PDI(Personal disposable income).More and more educated and young mothers need the high quality disposable diapers to better care of their baby.Especially in the modern and developed City,Shenzhen city of China. This will rapid increase in consumer spending.D.S.W.O.TStrength1,highest market share among itscompetitors2,Higher brand interest of consumerin Pampers than others.3,Aggressive advertising4,Strong distribution networkWeakness1,High cost2,Aggressive competitorsOpportunities1,Regular innovations in the product to maintain customers high involvement2,Good CSR activities to promote the product3,Innovative ways to connect with mothersrge population5.Rapid increase in consumer spending6.To deploy new technology Threat1,Price was with competitors2,Sensitive product, any small mishap can hurt the image of the product and will lost the support of mothers3,Easy substituteernment polices&regulation5.Intense competitionE.Critical Success FactorsThe wide availability of the Pampers brand is a key to its success as a parent-friendly brand. You can find Pampers pretty much anywhere, from mom-and-pop corner stores to big box retailers, regardless of the time of day or night. This means, when you’ve forgotten to stock up,you won’t have to desperately wait for a nearby store to open or keep your eye out for the FedEx truck if you tend to order them online. That kind of reliability is important to parents, who don't want to pay more for a substitute they haven't tried.(Study Pampers Annual Report2012)F.ObjectivesF.1Company mission StatementYear Mission1961The first Pampers disposable diapers arrive, instantly becoming a hit with moms and babies.1971Moms no longer play‘Pin the Diaper on the Baby 1986Thinner and drier with Pampers Ultra1994The first diaper with stretchy sides, made to fit like no diaper ever. Arrives2001Custom fit as baby grows2002Tiny Diapers for Tiny Miracles2003Caring for every baby,everywhere2006protect over100million babies around the world.2009Pampers Facebook arrives2010Pampers first high performance diaper comesF.2Company’s Objectives.Pampers Objective is:Keep baby comfortable, dry and clean, reinventing childcare, value well-being of parents and babies-family oriented.G.Target CustomersPampers'target market is mostly new parents, though they also target parents of kids in diapers in general. This is because brand loyalty means they may end up using Pampers diapers for the entire time their child is in diapers, and they won't have their mind made up about any particular brand being best yet.Getting someone to switch from a different brand is harder, and unlike many other products people simply stop using diapers after a while because their kids become potty trained,so new parents are more valuable.H.PositioningPampers is positioned as global leader in Baby Care Products that keeps babies comfortable and dry while they sleep and play.World’s leading and trusted baby care brand–Pampers innovative technology(Absorbent Gelling Material)locks wetness in faster then any other brand.Pampers targetsparents, specifically mothers throughout the different developmental stages of their baby-from birth to toddlers.Market research shows that moms associate Pampers with being a trusted and high quality product.I.Marketing StrategiesI.1Product strategies:seeing the world through the eyes of a baby.I.2Service strategies:What makes Pampers’marketingstrategy stand out is its investment inmaking its website personal. On first visitto the site, the mother is asked her child’sage and then the site content is adjustedWhat’s more, the site has aconversational feel to it.With“PampersVillage”(loyalty program),the brand offersits clients three additional services:access to promotions, newsletterstailored to their needs depending on thechildren’s age,and also the opportunityto talk to experts.(Study Marion Braizaz,2013).I.3Pricing StrategiesPampers uses non price competition because they focus on product quality to distinguish its product from other competing brands. An advantage of this is that Pampers has built customer loyalty, which increases the brand’s unit sales. There are cheaper substitutes that consumers can purchase making the demand-based pricing elastic.Meaning that if the price for a product increasesthe quantity demanded decreases. This is why Pampers relies on consumer loyalty to maintain sales but if the consumers buying power decreases,Pampers sales may decrease as well.Pampers is not a premium product given that there are suitable substitutions such as Huggies,Luvs,or private and generic brands.Overall,Pampers is economically affordable for any income. In addition, all of the products prices end with a nine giving the consumer a sense of value for their money. This type of pricing is called psychological pricing and is a common pricing strategy used by marketers.Pampers does a good job of serving the needs of its customers by offering them a fair and reasonable price for their products.Pampers has created customer loyalty by not sacrificing quality in order to lower their prices.I.4Place/Distribution strategiesIncludes marketing channels and physical distribution issues.Pampers uses the long-standing distribution channel C which takes the product form the producer to a wholesaler, then to a retailer, and finally to consumers.During this process,Pampers deals with physical distribution issues including order processing, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.Pampers order processing has three main tasks. The first is order entry, the second is order handling, and the third is order delivery. All of this is done by use of electronic data interchange.Pampers uses inventory management to maintain adequate assortments of products to meet their customers’needs.By doing so Pampers is able to minimize inventory costs.Pampers have many warehouses that store and move the products.Pamper moves products from the producer to wholesaler and then to the retailer by use of transportation.Pamper uses the railroad system when available to move products cheaply. They also use trucks, waterways, and airways to move their products.Pampers is doing an adequate job when it comes to placement by minimizing the costs wherever possible.I.5Promotional StrategiesWhen looking at promotion Pampers uses competitive advertising, public relations, and customer loyalty.Through competitive advertising Pampers points out their special features, uses and advantages relative to competing brands.Pampers advertise how their products change with each developmental stage from newborns to toddlers making their product stand out among other competitors.Pampers to use the pull marketing strategy which investing in consumer advertising to build brand awareness.Pampers uses networks to accomplish their relations.Their network consists of a number of organizations that work in the best interests of parents and children. Some of which include March of Dimes,Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and The National Association of Pediatric Nurse Associates.Pampers makes donations to these organizations. In addition,Pampers has a website designed especially for parents and health-care professionals that educates individuals on many aspects of babies and toddlers.Customer loyalty programs include sales promotions of coupons, sweepstakes, rewards, and free samples.Pampers use these techniques to build sales and maintain customer loyalty by rewarding the consumer for purchasing their products.Once a consumer becomes a Pampers member,Pampers uses direct marketing strategies to maintain customer loyalty. These strategies include sending brochures, pamphlets, and booklets with important information about each development stage as the consumers child grows while promoting their products that fit each particular stage.J.Relationship Management with distributor&Business EthicsWe sell most of our products via retail customers, which consist of mass merchandisers, grocery stores, membership club stores,drugstores,high-frequency stores, distributors and e-commerce retailers. Our success is dependent on our ability to successfully manage relationships with our retail trade customers. This includes our ability to offer trade terms that are acceptable to our customers and are aligned with our pricing and profitability targets. Our business could suffer if we cannot reach agreement with a key customer based on our trade terms and principles. Our business would be negatively impacted if a key customer were to significantly reduce the inventory level of our products or experience a significant business disruption.Consolidation among our retail customers could also create significant cost and margin pressure and lead to more complexity across broader geographic boundaries for both us and our key retailers. This would be particularly challenging if major customers are addressing local trade pressures, local law and regulation changes or financial distress.K.Advertising&Promotional BudgetAdvertising is done through magazines, television commercials, internet websites, billboards, and through direct marketing.Pampers also uses product placement in movies and shows like Three Men and a Baby or Make Room for a Baby. This is a great way that Pampers promotes its products.K.2Promotional BudgetOne reason for the marketing makeover for Pampers, which has an annual advertising budget estimated at$50million,is that mainstream marketers like P.&G.find they must compete for attention with the eye-catching,even eyebrow-raising ads peddling products and services for the new generation of dot-com entrepreneurs.Another reason is that decades of denigration of P&G.as the purveyor of lackluster, formulaic campaigns have taken their toll, particularly as the company strives to stimulate demand for its familiar packaged goods as part of ambitious plans to double sales in five years.L.Sales ForecastAfter viewing the last few years P&G’s Baby Care&Family Care sector sales performance. We are expecting to increase sales from$15.07billion at the end of2008to$22million by the end of2014.This sales forecast is in line with the objectives the Company.M.ImplementationP&G learned a lot from their experience over the past years, and have applied this learning to a four-point plan to drive sales forecast.First,We need to be sure we are consistently growing our market share on these brandsSecond,We’ll use fast-cycle learning techniques to get rapid consumer validation of our biggest ideas, and commercialize those ideas more quickly worldwide.Third,We’ll build on this strength by collaborating more closely with customers. The result will be even more innovative marketing programs for new and established brands alike.Fourth,We deployed teams to drive out waste and to find new efficiency in overhead management, marketing support and product costs. In addition,we’ve renewed our emphasis on capital investment and working-capital efficiency.N.Recommendations&ConclusionPampers has been successful in positioning its brand. They are consistent with their message and their consumers are well informed about their products.Pampers is successfully promoting its products while educating individuals about the developmental stages from newborns to toddlers.Of course, there is always room for improvements.Extending the product line to include bath products is one recommendation. Some examples could include Pampers shampoos, soaps, lotions, and oils.Pampers could promote their product by including coupons within or on their packaging. This encourages customer loyalty by rewarding the consumer with extra savings.Maybe Pampers could come up with reward points by issuing membership cards and each time used they earn points that add up to Pamper dollars and then redeemed when purchasing any Pampers products. There are many ways that Pampers can improve their marketing strategy, but for now the strategy they are using works and there is no need for change at this time.

Dear *****,The review of your manuscript, Thermal Decomposition and Kinetics Studies on 1, 4-dinitropiperazine (DNP), submitted to Journal of Hazardous Materials has been completed. The reviewers recommend the need for minor revisions. Please revise your manuscript according to the reviewers' comments attached, and re-submit to me your revised version of the manuscript including an itemized response to each reviewer's comments. Please submit your revised submission before Jul 11, 2007. I will then begin the re-review process. Please note that revised manuscripts will be sent for review because revising a manuscript does not automatically mean it will be accepted for publication. For your guidance, reviewers' comments are appended below. On your Main Menu page is a folder entitled "Submissions Needing Revision". You will find your submission record there. Please ensure that the article conforms to the format of the Journal. In particular make sure that all the articles in your references have titles included. The Journal Guide for Authors is available on the Journal homepage /locate/hazmatWhen submitting your revised manuscript, please ensure that you upload the source files (e.g. Word). Uploading a PDF file at this stage will create delays should your manuscript be finally accepted for publication. If your revised submission does not include the source files, we will contact you to request them.Once again, thank you for your interest in Journal of Hazardous Materials.Yours sincerely,Merv Fingas, PhDEditorJournal of Hazardous MaterialsReviewers' comments:Reviewer #1: The paper reports on the thermal decomposition and kinetics of DNP.It is a welcome addition to the literature and appectable forpublication after some revision:(i) Please provide large basis-set DFT calculations to support the assignment of the IR bands of DNP.(ii) Please assign ALL IR bands of Fig. 5Reviewer #2: authors have carried out work on the thermal analysis of the dinitropiperazine. The new information reported in the paper is scanty. The large amount of data has been already reported by the several researchers on the thermal analysis of dinitropiperazine (See the reference section of the paper and also reviewer has done the scopus search). The only new information reported in this paper is of the T-Jump IR studies and DSC studies under different pressures, which may adds on to the existing scientific data base. There is not much novelty in the reported work. The Table 1 and figure 1 need to be deleted from the paper since it is already well reported in the literature.Table 2 and figure 3 gives the same information. Authors are requested to delete Table 2 and the same information may be explained in the results and discussion part of the paper.May i also kindly request authors to update the literature survey till date on DNP in the introduction part of the paper using Chemical abstracts on disk (CA on CD) data base. The quality and clarity of the figures in the paper need to be improved.English need to be improved. The paper is recommended for short communication after the minor revision.Reviewer #3: The paper is okay in terms of contents. However, since it has been written bya Chinese, the english is very poor and as such requires a lot of corrections and editing by your team. The authors have used ozawa and Kissenger methods to find out activationenergy. However, they have given data for activation energy by ozawa methodonly under 3.4 thermal decomposition kinetics). The data for Eo by Kissenger methods shouldalso be included in the paper. Also, captions of Figs 1,3 &5 are missing.Reviewer #4: This paper is promising but could be improved by better kinetic analysis.1. Kissinger's method is OK as a first approximation, but Friedman's method is the best isoconversional method. Even Ozawa has abandoned his method in favor of Friedman's.2. The method of comparing a large number of kinetic models against data at a single heating rate (page 5) is invalid, discredited, and should not be published. This issue has been discussed in several papers by Vyzovkin and in a international kinetic study published by Brown et al, Thermochemica Acta 355, 125-143, 2000, and following papers. Consequently, there is noreal evidence presented that the equation is first-order. In fact, from my studies of energetic materials, including RDX and HMX, I would have thought that nucleation-growth kinetics would be most appropriate. However, I would have to do a more rigorous kinetic analysis of the data to know for sure.3. The best way to judge a kinetic model is how it compares with data at multiple heating rates (using a single set of parameters). Such a comparison is not present in this paper, so it is difficult to judge the validity of the kinetic parameters.4. The author's discussion of HMX kinetics is good in some respects but out of date in others. More recent papers by multiple institutions place the activation energy for HMX closer to 150 kJ/mol. A commonly cited paper on this is by Wight and Vyazovkin, Ann Rev Phys Chem 48, 119, 1997. A more recent but harder paper to get is by Burnham and Weese in the proceedings of the 2005 ICT conference. Henson has published a correlation in the detonation symposium showing that explosion times scale with an activation energy of about 150 kJ/mol. Active workers in energetic materials should have access to these materials. 因为我的Cover Letter他很满意,我是这样写的:Dear ***,My manuscript, *********************(论文题目), was revised according to the reviewers' comments, and the itemizedresponse to each reviewer’s comments is attached. Many thanks for your suggestion. I am so sorry to bring you so much trouble because of our careless. Correspondence and phone calls about this paper should be directed to ****(作者)at the following address, phone and e-mail:Address: *********Tel.: ********Fax:*******E-mail: **********Thanks very much again for your attention to our paper.Once again, thank you for your help to our paper processing.Yours sincerely,******For your guidance, itemized response to each reviewer’s comments is appended below.Dear reviewer #1:(i) Suhithi M. Peiris, Richard, etc. (J. Phys. Chem. A, 104 (39), 8898 -8907, 2000. 10.1021) had already reported large basis-set DFT calculations to support the assignment of the IR bands of DNP.(ii) We assigned all IR bands of Fig.5 (now change to fig.8).(iii) Because of the IR study had been reported, the IR spectra (fig.1) was deleted form the paper. Anyway, thank you for your arduous work and instructive advice.Dear reviewer #2:(i) G. V. Sitonina, etc. (Russian Chemical Bulletin, Vol.28, 284-288) A study has been made of the kinetics of thermaldecomposition of dinitropiperazine, in melts and in solution. As you said, the only new information reported in this paper is of the T-Jump IR studies and DSC studies under different pressures, which may adds on to the existing scientific data base. Nevertheless, the kinetics study in our paper is a supplement which is with multi-heating rate method.(ii) The Table 1 and figure 1 was deleted from the paper and the correlative references were put forward.(iii) Table 2 was deleted and the same information was explained in the results and discussion part of the paper.(iv) We had update the literature survey till date on DNP in the introduction part of the paper and enriched the introduction of the paper.(v) The figures were drawn again and the quality and clarity of them were improved.(vi) English expression w as improved a little and it’s my great honor to ask your help on the language aspect.Dear reviewer #3:(i) As a Chinese, our English is very poor and a few of corrections and editing had done by our team.(ii) Now we only used Ozawa method to find out activation energy and you can check it in our paper again. According to reviewer #4, Kissinger method is invalid, discredited, and should not be published.(iii) Figures and captions of them are changed.(iv) At last, thank you for your arduous work and instructive advice.Dear reviewer #4:i. This paper was improved by a better kinetic analysis. The kinetic parameters were established by Ozawa's isoconversional method because there is no Friedman's calculation program in our institute.ii. As you just said, the method of comparing a large number of kinetic models against data at a single heating rate is invalid. After the kinetic study by isoconversional method with data at multiple heating rates, we found that nucleation-growth kinetics is more appropriate. You are seasoned in these aspects and it’s my great honor to ask your advice on these sorts of aspects.iii. In order to judge a kinetic model, we did a comparison a single heating rate method with multi-heating method, and at last the kinetic parameters were judged.iv. You are right; the discussion of HMX kinetics is really out of date. The activation energy for HMX is closer to 150 kJ/mol. We had done the improvements in our paper.v. From your comments, it’s obvious that you are an expert in thermo analysis, and there is lots of shortage in our study which need your instruction. At last, I want to thank you sincerely for your suggestions and I feel so sorry that so much of your precious time was wasted on our paper revision.
