It seems that there isn't any word like desk-mate in an English dictionary, but like roommate, classmate and so on, a desk-mate means the one who sits beside you and shares everything with you.Till now, a year after my graduation from the senior school, I always think of those beautiful days when I sat with him. We studied together, played together, and bickered with each other. I was in charge of English in my class, and I was asked to play some tapes to practice our listening ability. At that time, my listening was excellent, so was my desk-mate. We made an appointment that everyday the one who had more wrong answers should buy candies for the other one. What made me proud is that he bought candies for me for 7 successive days. But he still said that he just pretended to be defeated to protect my self-respect. I thought that boy never says uncle. Even now he doesn't admit his defeat. But most of the time, we got along well. We cooperated very well.I knew what he would do second just seeing his first action, without any communicating in words.July the 1st I went home in Hubei. I met him. He said, if I hadn't chaatted with him in the class so frequently he would get a better score in the University Entrance Examination. I smiled--That guy chatted with his every desk-mate and always felt good about himself. He just likes playing jokes, never tired.I'm so happy to have made such a friend in the third year , also the last year of my senior school life. Desk-mate, a special existence in our study life.I think, like most of my contemporaries, I will cherish the memory and appreciate the feeling. Those who have shared desks and also happiness and sorrow with me will remain forever in my heart.。

Let's talk about my desk-mate
First, I want to say that it has been more than one year since I stopped learning English. So I hope you won't be shocked if you find any stupid mistake. I'm majoring in Japanese. So when I was writing the article,my head was filled with Japanese.
Let's talk about one of my desk-mates in my senior school life. What is a desk-mate? It seems that there isn't any word like desk-mate in an English dictionary, but like roommate, classmate and so on, a desk-mate means the one who sits beside you and shares everything with you.
Till now, a year after my graduation from the senior school, I always think of those beautiful days when I sat with him. We cooperated very well.I knew what he would do second just seeing his first action, without any communicating in words.
July the 1st I went home in Hubei. I met him. He said, if I hadn't chaatted with him in the class so frequently he would get a better score in the University Entrance Examination. I smiled--That guy chatted with his every desk-mate and always felt good about himself. He just likes playing jokes, never tired.
I'm so happy to have made such a friend in the third year , also the last year of my senior school life. Desk-mate, a special existence in our study life.I think, like most of my contemporaries, I will cherish the memory and appreciate the feeling. Those who have shared desks and also happiness and sorrow with me will remain forever in my heart.。
