金阳新区外国语实验中学成立于2010年，直属于金阳教育局，是贵阳市乃至贵州省的第一所公立外国语学校。

学校拥有近四万平方米宽敞美丽的校园，一流的教学设施。

在上级领导的支持下，今年还将改造网球场和灯光足球场。

学校的发展规模将达到36个教学班。

Jinyang Foreign Language Experimental Middle School was founded in 2010, which belongs to Jinyang Education Department. It is the first Foreign Language Public School in Guiyang of Gui Zhou province. Our school is capacious and beautiful with first-class teaching facilities and an area of nearly forty thousand square meters. With the help of superior leadership, we will take action to renew the tennis court facilities and to equip the football court with incandescent bulbs. There will be a total of 36 classes in our school.

To promote the development of each student, the school is currently pushing for
small-class instruction. The school also offers a school-based curriculum to enhance student literacy, such as etiquette, mental health education, art appreciation, and so forth, in order to promote the comprehensive growth of the students. Under the students’ independent establishment and teachers' guidance, The Students’ Association and voluntary organization are established. It reveals the students' personality and fully embodies the concept of quality-oriented education that
the school pays great attention to. The development of the school has been getting noticed by Jinyang New District leadership. The Municipal Standing Administration Party Committee, District Party Secretary Ding Xudong, during his research to our school, indicates that we should spare no efforts to strengthen our school and turn it into a higher-quality education resource in Guiyang, even the whole province. The school primarily features cultivating the students’ foreign language ability (mainly English), in order to promote the overall development of students. Since it was founded one-and-a-half years ago, the students' English grades, their ability and the overall quality of the school has significantly improved.

学校今年3月成立了“学校发展专家工作室”，特聘贵州大学外国语学院王建芳院长及外语专家、市教科所各学科专家、国家级培训专家杨咏梅等对学校的发展和教师专业成长进行工作指导。

This year, we will introduce high-quality international education resources to run a school jointly.We also put emphasis to cultivate students' international perspective, and their international mind to provide them with greater opportunities in thr future. In March 2012, the school established “school development experts studio”. This development engages many specialists, for instance,the president of Foreign Language College, Guizhou University, Wang Jianfang, and other foreign language experts、experts in other disciplines in city training section、the national training expert Yang Yongmei to offer professional guidance on the development of the school and the teachers' growth.
依据特色办学的理念，我校于2011年9月招收了英语特长生，创办英语实验班。

在两次全市期末统一考试中，实验班成绩显著，第一次（即2011-2012年第一学期期末统考）的英语平均分为95分，数学平均分96.6分，语文平均分87分；第二次（即2011-2012年第二学期期末统考）的英语平均分为97.2分，数学平均分94.4分，语文平均分88.7分，班级平均总分在贵阳市名列前茅。

此外，在2012年的中考中取得了平均总分553.8分，名列贵阳市公办学校第一，公、民办学校第二的好成绩。

Based on our school characteristics, we enrolled English talented students in September 2011. At the end of the first semester of the 2011-2012 academic year, in the city unified examinations, our English experimental class students obtained a good result. The average score was at 95 for English, 96.6 for mathematics, and 87 for Chinese on the first final test , and the average score at 97.2 for English, 94.4 for mathematics, and 88.7 for Chinese on the second test of 2011-2012 academic year. The average score came out at the top in Guiyang. We have achieved preliminary success with the philosophy of developing in a characteristic way.
