刘彻：（悠然自得）真是一只美丽的孔雀啊。
你们看，它展开了充满魅力的尾羽，像一朵绽放的花儿般美丽。
身边侍从纷纷附和赞叹。

旁白：空旷的天空里，突然闪过朵朵乌云，迅速张开了灰色的幔……忽然飞过一只孔雀，五里一徘徊，飞向东南。
一阵风吹过，那灰色的阴影又扩充到远方……乌云下，“焦府”的匾额高高的悬挂着……(music:主题曲,宁次之死)第一幕：中堂焦母（厉声喝道）：我叫你织的布呢？（兰芝用手指了指）怎么才五匹？？？？都三天了！你怎么干活的啊？？？兰芝：婆婆，我……我……我还……焦母（怒）：你，你什么你？织这么慢，怎么做我家媳妇？？？（兰芝哭着跑开）（焦母重重地摔门而去）第二幕：房中（兰芝坐床而泣，丈夫仲卿回家，见状）仲卿：兰芝，你怎么了？心里有事就告诉我啊。
兰芝：（抬头望丈夫，噙着泪花）相公，想我当年，十三岁就会织白绢，十四岁学会了裁剪衣裳，十五岁开始练弹奏箜篌，十六岁就能诵读诗书，十七岁嫁给了你为妻，本来指望着能和你无忧无虑，白头偕老，平平淡淡地度过后半生。
但自从进了你家，心里却时常含苦茹悲。
（拿起丝绢擦泪）仲卿：（慌忙坐下，关切的样子）怎么了，慢慢说。
兰芝：（放下丝绢，哽咽）我本来不想给你添乱，可是今天我不得不说了。
你身为郡府官吏，尽职尽责，不为儿女情长分散心思，平时与你很难相见，我只有一个人孤独的守着这空房。
仲卿：（叹息）这是我的不对，只关心自己的公务，却忽略了你的感受。
兰芝：若只是这样，我也能理解，忍忍就罢了。
可是每天夜里，鸡一叫我就急忙上机织绢，常常整夜不能休息。
五匹绢用三天就能织完。
仲卿：这太辛苦了，何必要织那么快呢？兰芝：（轻声叹息）即使这样，婆婆还是挑剔我织得慢。
唉，我看并不是我偷懒织得慢，而是当你家媳妇实在太难！我应不了你家的使唤，，你说我留在这里还有什么用啊！你不妨就禀告婆婆，趁早打发掉我算了，省得烦心。
（掩面哭泣）仲卿：（拍案而起）母亲怎能这般无情，让你受这等委屈，我怎么能让你走？！我现在就去找娘谈！兰芝：（起身拉住仲卿）别去了，你去了也没用，还是让我走吧。
