教学目标:
知识目标
1.复习I helped Mum and I washed clothes./ I cooked noodles yesterday.等句型,并能用I ...yesterday 等句型描述自己昨天做了什么事情。
2.掌握动词过去式的标志后缀-ed。
能力目标
1.能够实践练习中熟练运用本节课的新单词和句型。
2.能够正确运用动词过去式来进行描述。
3.能够读懂与课文相关主题绘本并感知绘本主题意义。
情感目标
1.激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
2.让学生学会关心和体恤他人,培养学生的劳动意识,在家里帮助父母分担家务。
教学重难点
1.复习I helped Mum and I washed clothes./ I cooked noodles yesterday.等句型,并能用I ...yesterday 等句型描述自己昨天做了什么事情;掌握动词过去式的标志后缀-ed。
2.教学难点:能够实践练习中熟练运用本节课的单词和句型。
能够读懂新绘本,了解其大体意思。
教学过程:
Step 1 Warming up and lead-in
1.Greeting.
T: Hello, boys and girls. I’m Winnie. Now I am in Indonisia. Nice to meet you. Today we are going to learn M7U1 I helped Mum period 2.
2.Review to lead in
T: Look at the picture, can you guess what did I do? I went to the supermarket yesterday. And I helped my friend cook. What did you do yesterday? Did you help your mum? Yes? Good children!
Step 2 Presentation
1.重点句学习(课本part3)
T: Now, look at this girl. Let’s ask her “hey,girl, what did you do yesterday?”
播放录音:I helped Mum. I cooked noodles.
Oh, she helped Mum. She cooked noodles. she is a good girl too.
出现字Read after me: I helped Mum. I cooked noodles. Pay attention to helped,cooked.
2.Practice (课本part4)
T: Now, boys and girls, let’s do some practice. please turn to
page 40. let’s look at part 4. Describe the pictures using past tense sentences. Are you ready?
Picture 1 : who is she? Yes, she is grandma. What did grandma do yesterday? You can write dwon the sentence on your book (Pause to let ss to write down the sentences. ..... )finish? Let’s check. Yesterday Grandma cooked fish.
Picture 2 Yesterday Sam played on the computer.
Picture 3 Father watched TV last night.
Picture 4 Yesterday Amy washed clothes.
Step 3: Review and summary
T: Well done, boys and girls. We learnt past tense 我们学习了过去式。
Now, let’s look this sentence.I helped Mum and I washed clothes.
句中“helped”和“washed”均为“help” 和“wash”
的过去式,表示这两个动作都发生在过去的时间,动作
已经结束了。
For example, I played basketball yesterday. 昨天我打篮球了。
I played basketball yesterday. Not today.
Step 4: More practice
T: Clear? Good . Boys and girls, now let’s do more practice. Look
at the picture. What did she do yesterday?
Yesterday she did her homework.
Yesterday she went to the park.
Yesterday we rowed a boat on the lake.
Yesterday he cooked food..
Step 5: picture book
T: Oh, this boy is very helpful. Now we know how to describe things happened in the past using past tense , and you can say what did you do yesterday to help your mum. (现在我们知道了怎样用过去式描述过去发生的事情,也可以用过去式说一说你昨天是怎样帮助妈妈的。
) Now, we read a picture book about animals . Let’s see are the animals very helpful? Are you ready, go!
The title of the story is horse up a tree. It’s written by Martin Waddell and painted by Jonathan Allan.
What can you see on the cover of this book?
Yes, a horse, two cows, sheep,ducks, hens and a farmer.
Oh,yes. And a big tree.
But where is the horse?
Yes, it’s up the tree. Why? Why is it up the tree? What happened?
Now let’s read the book together, you find the past tense verbs(过去式动词).and answer the two questions.

That’s the end. boys and girls, Do you like the story? Yes, I think it’s very interesting. Now, let’s think and answer.

The horse went up a tree and got stuck(被卡住了). oh, poor horse,what a pity!
But 2.How did the farmer and animals help the horse?
Look at the famer’s handbook.Get on a ladder, Swing on a rope..Jump on the hay,Hop on the branch .but Which way worked out?
Get on a ladder? No
Swing on a rope? No
Jump on the hay? No
Hop on the branch? Yes! It worked and the horse is OK now. Oh, they are very helpful.
Do you like the farmer and the animals. Yes, I like them, because they are very kind and very helpful. Maybe you can read the story after class and tell the story to your parents.

Step 5: Homework
Ok, time is up. Here is the homework for you .
1.Talk about what did you do to help your Mum yesterday? (说一说你昨天帮助妈妈做了什么?)
2.Read the text to your parents. (把课文读给家长听一听)
3.Find more picture books using past tense to read.(找一些关于过去式的绘本读一读。
)
The Second Round:读一些学过的动词词组(play basketball,play football,play table tennis,row a boat,watch TV,help Mum)
3.The Third Round:
(1)学习新单词(cook,wash,computer,phone)和新词组(cook noodles,wash clothes,play on the computer,phone my friend)(2)教师用课件展示自己昨天做的事情,让学生从句子中归类总结出动词过去式的变化方法。
(3)巩固练习动词过去式的转变方法,并注意读音的不同。
4.The Fourth Round:机械操练4个运用过去时的句子(全班读、小组练读、游戏练读:一个学生读之后请另外一个学生任意读4个句子
中的一个)
5.The Fifth Round为Group work:运用I ...yesterday.来说说自己昨天做了什么事情。
(提供一些图片和短语辅助学生说出自己昨天做的事情)
6.闯关成功,取得击鼓传花游戏的资格:让学生大胆说出自己昨天做的事情,并适当转换主语。
7. Learn the text:
(1)给出问题,第一遍让学生看教学视频,第二遍让学生跟着点读笔读,之后回答问题,并集体说句子。
(2) 全班齐读课文。
(3)学习另外一些新单词:really, what about? did, didn’t, love, him Step 3 Practice:课本P40的口头练习。
