Teaching Aims:

To learn how to describe what somebody did and what happened. . Teaching Important and Difficult Points: To use the simple past tense to write a story.

Teaching Procedures:

Step One

New words and phrases.

1.hole (与whole 同⾳)

2.by 在…..旁边（by the river, by the sea）

pass by 从…..旁⾛过，经过（walk by ）有时还可表⽰（时间）过去

3.stand---stood stand up

4.get away 离开，⾛开

5.fall---fell fall down

6.hit—hit hit the round 落地

7.herself 她⾃⼰，her的反⾝代词

8.alone 单独，独⾃（⽆感情⾊彩）= on one‘s own = by oneself

lonely 孤独的（有感情⾊彩）

The old man lives alone but he doesn‘t feel lonely

9.low 低的----反义：high short---反tall

10.be locked 锁着

The door is locked，Can you open it for me?

11.notice sb do / doing sth notice sb / sth

12.put…..into….. 把….放进…..⾥----take …..out of…….

13.through 从内部穿过go through the forest .⾛出森林

across 从表⾯穿过run across the field 跑过⽥野

14. surprise sb 使某⼈吃惊be surprised 感到惊讶

be surprised to do sth 做某事很惊讶

to one‘s surprise 令某⼈吃惊的是（常⽤于句⾸）

He was surprised to meet me in the street yesterday.

Step Two

Learn the story.

1.down the rabbit hole 掉进兔⼦洞

3.sit by a river 坐在河边hear a sound sit—sat ,hear--heard

4.look up 向上看

5.see sb doing sth (see—saw) 看见某⼈（正）做某事

He saw a dog running after the cat.

see sb do sth 看见某⼈做某事（强调过程）

6.be late 迟到be late for class / school

7.take –took say—said run---ran

take sth out of ……从…..⾥取出某物

take a watch out of its pocket

8.How + 形容词/ 副词！（为感叹句）

9.jump down a big hole 跳进⼀个⼤洞

10.fall—fell fall for a long time 掉了很长时间

11.find—found find oneself……发觉⾃⼰（处于某种状态）He woke up and found himself in a hospital

12.all around 四周There are many trees all round our school.

13.fit 适合It didn‘t fit any of the doors.

14.on the other side 在另⼀边

on one side 在⼀边on each side 在每⼀边on both sides 在两边

15.try—tried put—put try to do sth 试图做某事

16.open a door with the key. = use the key to open a door

17.What happened after that? 之后发⽣了什么事？

happen to sb 发⽣在某⼈⾝上
