9年级上Unit 8 It must belong to Carla.的语言目标是要求学生学 会使用情态动词 must, might, could,和can’t来对相关信息进行推断。 Section A主要围绕“推测物品的归属”展开,并进一步引入“神秘 事件”这一话题,集中呈现与学习表示推断的相关词汇以及用情 态动词来表示推断的核心句型。本部分的教学目标是要求学生能 听懂描述有关物品归属的对话;能够在听读信息输入中获取相关 信息,并掌握情态动词must,could,might,can’t表推测的用法。 Section A重点是学习四个情态动词表示推测的不同用法,学会用不 同句式表达物品所属。本部分难点是掌握情态动词must,could, might,can’t表推测的正确使用。

学生通过近两年的英文学习,已具备一定的听说, 阅读和写作能力。在完成了本单元Section A1a-1c的听 说训练之后,学生对握情态动词must,could,might, can’t表推测的用法已经有了一定了解。通过2a-2d习的 听说对话练习之后,学生对目标语言有了进一步的掌 握。本课时3a的阅读材料是关于小镇怪声的文章,其 内容充满了神秘色彩并且丰富有趣,容易唤起学生的 学习兴趣和热情,愿意参与到教学活动中,能够较轻 松的理解老师的教学思路,达成本课时的教学目标。 有个别学生可能会在学习过程中遇到困难或者没有自 信表达自己,此时,给予学生帮助和鼓励学生乐于说 英语是必要的。

本节课是Unit 8的第三课时,内容为 SectionA 的3a-3c。3a-3c部 分为阅读板块。阅读材料是关于小镇怪声的文章,活动3a要求学生 阅读文章,根据文章内容选择恰当的标题。活动3b要求学生根据 释义在文中找出相应的词汇,弄懂词汇意思,为阅读理解扫清障 碍。活动3c引导学生进一步关注细节,找出文中众多人物关于怪声 的推测,同时巩固本单元目标语言。
七、教学步骤(Teaching Procedures)
Step1 Pre-reading (Review and lead-in)

六、教学设计和指导思想
(Teaching design and guiding principle)
该课在以学生为主体的教育理念指导下,采用情景教学的方法,将语言知识学习、 阅读能力培养和交际表达训练有机结合在“以学生为中心”的任务型教学活动之中。整 个教学过程贯穿“小镇怪声”的主题,让学生在语言实践中进行阅读,推测和写作体验, 在相互沟通中培养语言表达能力和形成情感交流。根据 Go for it!教材的课程理念,按照 整体教学的思路,把阅读过程分成三个阶段的活动,即:读前活动(pre-reading activities)、 读中活动(while-reading activities )、和读后活动(post-reading activities ),既体现从整 体到局部,从表层到深层的阅读过程,又体现从输入(Input),到消化和吸收(Intake), 再到输出(Output)的语言学习规律。读前活动主要是复习和导入话题,激活背景知识; 读中活动主要是让学生完成相关教学任务来理解课文;读后活动是让学生结合所学知识 进行角色扮演,小组讨论对怪声进行推测并完成写作的活动,巩固所学知识,提高综合 运用语言的能力。
