His first project with Alessi is this espresso coffee maker, designed in 1979 and still the best seller in our catalogue. Two special features about this espresso coffee maker: it is the first to be made in stainless steel ( while usually these coffee makers are in aluminium) and it has a double filter that enables the consumer to make 2 different sizes of coffee cups ( for example the 6 cups size has a half filter that enables us to make 3 cups too). This unique feature has not been used in any other coffee makers in the market, as far as we know. This items is part of the permanent collection of the Moma in NYC.
