First of all, I'd like to talk about my understanding about this lesson. It is about a great woman scientist Marie Curie. By studying this lesson, we、11 enable the students to know some information about Marie Curie and learn something from her such as working hard, devotion, perseverance and so on. Then it gives a good sample for the students to learn how to understand an essay about great people better・We should focus on the chronological order. The text writes Marie Curie in this order. At the same time, it asks the students to find out the years and their related events in the text and have a general idea about the outline of her life.
