Cinderella is a pretty girl. She’s got blue eyes and blond curly hair. She’s always happy.
灰姑娘是个漂亮的女孩。

她有双蓝色的眼睛和一头金色的卷发。

她很快乐。

She likes singing and playing with her pet cat and the mice in the kitchen.
她喜欢唱歌，也喜欢和她的宠物猫、厨房里的老鼠玩耍。

She lives in a big house with her two sisters. Her sisters are very ugly.
她和她的两个姐姐住在一座大房子里。

They’ve got big noses and big ugly feet. They don’t like Cin derella.
她们长着大鼻子和丑陋的大脚。

她们不喜欢灰姑娘。

And she has to do all the work in the house. They throw their clothes on the floor.
她不得不做家里所有的家务活。

“Pick up our clothes!” they say.

They shouted Cinderella” Clean the kitchen! Wash the cloth es! Cook the dinner!”

O ne day, Cinderella is in the kitchen. She’s washing the plates.
有一天，灰姑娘正在厨房里洗盘子。

The sun is shining and Cinderella is happy.
阳光明媚，灰姑娘很开心。

She’s looking out of the window and singing with the birds.
她向着窗户眺望，和鸟儿们一起歌唱。

Blackie, her cat, is playing with his friend, the little mice.
Blackie,她的猫，正在和它的老鼠朋友玩耍。

Goldie is Cinderella’s gold fish.
Goldie，灰姑娘的金鱼。

He’s swimming in his bowl and listening to the birds singing.
他正在自己的碗里游泳，倾听着鸟儿的歌声。

“Cinderella!Cinderella!” say her sisters,” Come here! Quickly!”
“灰姑娘！灰姑娘！”她的姐姐叫到，“过来！快点！”
Cinderella runs upstairs into the living room. “Here I am.” she says.
灰姑娘跑到楼下的客厅。

“我来了。

”她说。

“Look at this! We’ve got an invitation from the king, an invitation to the ball at the palace!”
“看这个！我们收到国王的邀请，邀请我们去参加皇宫的舞会！”
”A n invitation to the ball?” says Cinderella,” That’s wonderful!”
“去舞会的邀请？”灰姑娘说，“那太棒了！”
“Yes!” say the sisters, “We can wear beautiful dresses! And we can dance with prince charming.”
“是的！”她的姐姐说，“我们可以穿上漂亮的裙子，还可以和白马王子跳舞！”“Can I come to the ball?” says Cinderella.
“我能参加舞会吗？”灰姑娘说。

“You?” say the sisters “Come to the ball? No! You can’t come to the ball! You haven’t got a dress!”
“你？”她的姐姐说“参加舞会？不行！你不能去舞会！你连一件裙子都没有！”
On the day of the ball, Cinderella is very busy.
举行舞会的那天，灰姑娘忙得晕头转向。

The ugly sisters want Cinderella to do everything.
丑陋的姐姐们想要她做所有事。

“Cinderella! Come here! And help me with my dress!”
“灰姑娘！过来！帮我穿下裙子！”
“Cinderella! Come here! And help me with my hair! ”
“灰姑娘！过来！帮我弄下头发！”
“Cinderella, Go and find my blue shoes!”“Cinderella, go and find my yellow bag!”
“灰姑娘，去帮我找下我的蓝色鞋子！”“灰姑娘，把我的黄色包包拿过来！”“Cinderella! Where’s my necklace?” “Cinderella! Where’s my ring?”
“灰姑娘！我的项链在哪儿？”“灰姑娘！我的戒指呢？”
“Cinderella!Cinderella! Cinderella! Quickly, quickly, quickly! It’s time to go!”
“灰姑娘！灰姑娘！灰姑娘！快快快！该出发了！”
“Don’t cry, Cinderella.” Says Blackie. “I want to go to the ball.” Says Cinderella.
“别哭，灰姑娘。

”Blackie说。

“我也想参加舞会。

”灰姑娘说。

“You can go to the ball” says a beautiful woman. “Who are you?” says Cinderella.
“你当然可以参加舞会”一位美丽的女士说。

“你是谁？”灰姑娘问道。

“I’m your fairy God mother.” Says the beautiful woman, “Cinderella, go into the garden, and find nice big pumpkin.”
“我是你的仙女教母。

”美丽的女士说道，“灰姑娘，去到花园里挑一个大的好南瓜吧。

”Says the fairy God mother,”Come here, Blackie. Let’s put Goldie here on the floor.
仙女教母说“来吧Blackie, 让我们把Goldie放到地上。

”
And, oh yes, six little white mice. Perfect!” says the fairy God mother.
还有，噢对了！六只小白鼠。

完美！”仙女教母说。

The fairy God mother waves her magic wand and says,“Abracadabra!”
仙女教母挥动她的魔杖念道“红玛尼玛尼哄！”
The pumpkin is now a beautiful coach. Goldie is now a footman. Blackie is now a coachman.
南瓜变成了一座精美的马车。

Goldie变成了一个侍从。

Blackie变成了马车夫。

And the six white mice are now six beautiful white horses.
六只白色老鼠变成了六匹骏美的白马。

The fairy God mother waves her wand again. Cinderella’s old grey dress is now a wonderful new dress.
仙女教母在此挥动她的魔杖。

灰姑娘破旧的裙子变成了一件精美绝伦的礼服。

And on her feet, there’re pretty gloss shoes. “Now you can go to the ball, Cinderella”
在她的脚下，还有一双美丽的玻璃鞋。

“现在你可以去参加舞会了，灰姑娘。

”
says the fairy G od mother, “but you must be home before midnight.”
仙女教母说，“但是你必须在午夜之前赶回来。

”
At the palace, there’re a lot of people. They are in the ball room, talking and laughing and dancing.
在宫殿里，有许许多多发人。

他们在舞厅里谈笑、起舞。

Everyone is happy. The king and queen are enjoying the ball.
每个人都很高兴。

国王和王后也在享受着舞会。

“Who is that beautiful princess?” says one of the ugly sisters. “I don’t know.” Says the other ugly sister
“那位美丽的公主是谁？”其中一个丑陋的姐姐问，“不知道。

”另一个丑陋的姐姐回答。

“look, prince charming is dancing with her.” Prince charming likes Cinderel la,
“看呐，白马王子在和她跳舞呢。

”白马王子喜欢灰姑娘
and they dance and dance and dance all evening! “Dong!Dong!”
他们一直跳啊跳啊跳啊，跳了一整晚的舞！“咚！咚！”
Cinderella looks at the clock. It’s midnight. “I must go!” she says.
灰姑娘望向时钟。

已经到了午夜。

“我必须走了！”她说。

Cinderella runs out of the ball room and down the steps.
灰姑娘冲出舞厅跑下台阶。

Prince charming runs out of the ball room. “Don’t’ go!” he says,” please! Come here!”
白马王子追出舞厅。

“别走！”他说，“请回来！”
But Cinderella isn’t there. It’s midnight and she’s running home.
但是灰姑娘已经不在了。

已经到了午夜所以她跑回了家。

“What’s this?” says prince charming. He looks on the steps and sees Cinderella’s gloss shoe.
“这是什么？”白马王子说。

他看到了台阶上有一只灰姑娘的玻璃鞋。

“I can go to every house in the town! I can ask every girl in the town to put on the shoe!“我可以去城里挨家挨户地找！我要让城里每个女孩都试一遍这只鞋！
I can find the beautiful princess! “Prince charming is here! Prince charming is here!”
我一定能找到那位美丽的公主！”“白马王子来啦！白马王子来啦！”
say the ugly sisters. “Go away! Go into the kitchen, Cinderella! The gloss shoe isn’t yours!丑陋的姐姐们叫道。

“走开！到厨房里去，灰姑娘！那只玻璃鞋不是你的！
You can’t see prince charming. Quickly, quickly, quickly! Go, go, go!”
你不能见白马王子。

快快快！走走走！”
The ugly sisters put on the gloss shoe. They have very big ugly feet, and the shoe is very small.
丑陋的两姐妹试穿水晶鞋。

他们有着丑陋的大脚，但是鞋子却很小。

Cinderella opens the door. “Can I put on the shoe?” she says. “Go away!” say the ugly sisters.
灰姑娘打开门。

“我可以试试这只鞋吗？”她说。

“你走开！”丑陋的姐姐们说。

“No! Wait!” says prince charming, “Come here, and put on the shoe.”
“不！等等！”白马王子说，“过来吧，试试这只鞋。

”
Cinderella puts on the shoe. “The shoe is yours!” says prince charming,
灰姑娘穿上了那只鞋。

“这就是你的鞋！”白马王子说，
You are the beautiful princess!” “I am not a princess. I am Cinderella.” She says,” but shoe is mine.”
你就是那位美丽的公主！”“我不是公主，我叫灰姑娘。

”她说，“但这就是我的鞋。

”
Prince charmingandCinderella have a beautiful wedding in the garden at the palace.
白马王子和灰姑娘在皇宫的花园里举行了华美的婚礼。

All the people from the town come to the wedding. It’s a beautiful sunny day.
城里所有人都来参加了婚礼。

那是一个阳光灿烂的日子。

And prince charming and Cinderella are very happy.
白马王子和灰姑娘非常幸福。

“Can we be friends now?” says Cinderella to her ugly sisters.
“现在我可以和你们做朋友吗？”灰姑娘对她的两个丑姐姐说。

“You are a good kind girl Cinderella.” They say, “We want to be your friends.”
“你是一个心地善良的好女孩，灰姑娘。

”她们说，“我们愿意成为你的朋友。

”“Good!” says Cinderella.
“太好了！”灰姑娘说。

And they all live happily ever after.
从此，他们过着幸福的生活。
