教学设计
一、教学目标
1. Be able to grasp the words and phrases:
doing the high jump, doing the long jump, playing badminton, playing football, playing tennis,
2. reading and listening practice using the target language.

四、教学过程
Step 1. Warming up
1.Let students talk about some sports in our school life.
2.Sing a song about sports.
Step 2 Presentation
1.Let students read this conversation following teacher :
A: Are you watching the high jump?
B: Yes, we are.
A: Are they doing the high jump?
B: No, they aren’t.
2.Send some cards to each group and ask student to describe what they are doing by
conversation.
3.Write down the records in the chart.
e.g. A: Are they doing the long jump?
B: Yes, they are.
A: Is he running fast?
B: No, he isn’t.
Step 3 Practice
1.Each group choose one student to attend a competition. And students need to communicate
with teacher directly. Students have to speak the content of the picture on teacher’s ppt.
2.After the match, every student need to give a grade to each group. And teacher need to collect
the reflection and calculate the highest grade.
3.Teacher give a big present to the group that achieve the highest grade.
Step 4 Conclusion
1.Point out the key grammar and key words and sentences.
2.Ask students recite the key conversation and practice them with classmates.
Step5 Homework
1.Re-view: prepare for test
2.Basic: write conversations
3.Expansion: Write the report of the interview about the activities.
五、教学反思
本课的教学过程中,同学之间,师生之间的互动比较,教学方式比较灵活。
同学们可以通过熟练地掌握对话技巧和课文内容,在活动比赛的过程中获得高分,用奖品的形式来提高同学们的积极性,提高大家的英语学习兴趣。
教师的职务是‘千教万教,教人求真’;学生的职务是‘千学万学,学做真人’。
我们发现了儿童有创造力,认识了儿童有创造力,就须进一步把儿童的创造力解放出来。
