Recently，many_schools_in_cities_such_as_Beijing_and_Wuhan_have_cancelled_the_women's_3，000-metre_race_and_the_men's_5，000-metre_race_at_their_sports_meeting_due_to_students'_poor_physical_condition.It_aroused_a _heated_debate_about_young_students'_health.
Some students think that schools should not give up long­distance running because it can build up their bodies，keep them away from illness and relax their brain.They can learn better after exercise.More importantly，it helps develop a strong will and endurance.
But others hold opposite opinions.They believe that long­distance running is not good for them.It makes them tired and excited so that they can't calm down to study after exercise and they may get hurt in it.Besides，long-distance running is a big challenge to their physical condition.
For my part，it is unwise to call off long-distance races.So long as we are careful enough，the races can do us nothing but good.

With_the_fast_development_of_technology,_we_enjoy_its_convenience_as_well_as_suffer_ the_troubles which we human beings can never afford to ignore.
As is seen everywhere, people nowadays live a life on the go with a mobile phone which makes them available at any time. However, they may bend over the phone even when they are sitting face to face, lacking heart-to-heart communication. Meanwhile, the industry brings more products as well as polluted air and water. With PM 2.5 filling the air, we, especially the young and the old, fall victim to the worsening air. What's worse, we are faced with more serious food problems which in turn contribute to more deadly diseases like cancers.
As a matter of fact, human beings are to blame for all these problems. If we wish to leave our next generations a still beautiful world, we have to take action from now on. Stop destroying the earth by cutting down trees and turning green land into concrete. Stop pouring waste into rivers and oceans to protect the water sources. No longer waste materials and food to save natural resources for our future generations. What's the most important is to educate the public and carry out the laws firmly. Hope our combined efforts will pay off one day.

Nowadays，food_waste_is_serious_in_China.To show their hospitality in interpersonal communication，some customers order far more than what is enough，causing much food to be untouched and thrown away.
What is even more unbearable lies in the fact that banquets at public expenses cost the reputation of our government as well as a huge amount of money，which can have actually been spent in helping those in need.Consequently，such waste really makes people disappointed and depressed.
To our delight，as a nationwide campaign against waste at the dining table has been
launched，“Clear the Plates” is gaining more acceptance and support.Therefore，the nation's “Clear the Plates” is most likely to become the mainstream idea of hospitality through everyone's efforts.

As_we_all_know，health_is_very_important.Only when we are healthy can we study well and enjoy our life.
However，many teenagers don't pay any attention to their health，especially during the holidays.And they spend too much time watching TV，playing games and chatting on the Internet all night，which is bad for their health.First，this may make them get near-sighted.Besides，their bodies become much weaker.Third，they will lose the chance to communicate with others face to face as they never go out，which may have a bad effect on their mental health.
In my opinion，they should spend less time in front of the TVs or the computers.Go out to take some exercise，play some sports and visit some friends and have a healthy lifestyle.。
