摘要：There is provided a computer-implemented logic circuit, also referred to as ad-handling logic, configured to handle advertisements when a web page is downloaded
from a web site or a web portal in a communication network. The computer-implemented logic unit comprises processing circuitry and associated memory. The processing circuitry is configured to identify an executable script related to an advertisement, also referred to as an ad script, in the web page code corresponding to the web page. The processing circuitry is further configured to insert an advertisement-delaying script-based executable patch in relation to the ad script to enable a delay of the download of objects related to the advertisement. As an example, the computer-implemented logic unit may be configured for connection to or implementation with a proxy server in the network.
