STARTING THE PROGRAM
When starting the program the first time, it asks you to select the Ethernet adapter to you. UniCASim automatically selects the first Ethernet adapter for you. Make sure the correct adapter is selected and click ‘Ok’. Next, you can open the UniCASim Test Suite GooseTestSuite.UCT that comes with the product. This Test Suite can be found in the directory where UniCASim is installed.

INSTALLATION
UniCASim can be installed on any Windows 95/98/ME/NT4.0/2000 laptop or desktop computer. To be able to capture data an Ethernet network card is required. To install the UniCASim software: 1. open the windows explorer and view the CD 2. double click the UniCAxxxx.exe installation file and follow the instructions. UniCASim must be installed on a local harddisk 3. double click the hldrv32.exe installation file to install the hardlock key driver 4. insert the key into the parallel port Without the key or hardlock key driver UniCASim runs in demo mode with limited functionality. The key contains an application generation. The key application generation should be equal or more then the UniCASim software application generation. You can check the generations and key information in Help – About UniCASim.
