《英语》教学大纲
（适用于非英语专业专升本）
一．理论教学内容
语音
1．字母、音标、音节、重音
2．元音字母、辅音字母的基本读音规则，元音字母组合、辅音字母组合的基本读音规则
3．语调：升调、降调、语句重音
词汇
学生在读期间,应掌握2500个单词,加上中学时已掌握的800单词,学生所掌握的词汇量达到
3300个。

一级：领会式掌握800词，其中复用式500词
二级：领会式掌握800词，其中复用式500词
三级：领会式掌握900词，其中复用式500词
语法
1．五种基本句型
2．句子成分：主、谓、主补、宾、宾补、定、状等句子成分
3．词法：
名词：可数、不可数、名词复数
代词：人称代词、物主代词、反身代词、疑问代词、不定代词
限定词：定冠词、不定冠词、再如：some、any、no、both、all、each、every、either、neither 等。

动词：时态（一般现在、过去、将来时，现在、过去进行时，现在、过去完成时，现在、过去完成进行时，过去将来时等）
语态（各种句型、各种时态的主、被动构成、用法及互相转换）
虚拟语气（条件句，if/as though，wish，主、表、宾，同谓语从句等）

听的技能：听懂课堂用语及简单的英语讲解
测试
每个学期期末面授后安排一次考试。

按照各学期所安排的进度要求考核。

考试按照本大纲要求科学命
题，采取学业考试（Achievement Test）的形式。

基础阶段结束后，要求学生参加并通过浙江省三级英语统一考试。

测试范围包括：听力、语法结构、词汇、阅读和翻译。

（说明：由于面授时间较少，听力考试暂时不考。

二、大纲说明
目的
大学函授本科生的英语课教学目的，是培养学生具有较强的阅读能力、一定的译的能力和初步的听的能力；使学生能以英语为工具，获取本专业所需的信息，并为进一步提高英语水平打下基础。

基本要求
1．语音：能用国际音标和基本读音规则正确拼读单词，朗读时语音、语调基本正确。

2．词汇：领会式掌握3300单词，其中复用式掌握2000单词（均含入学前应掌握单词数）以及一定量的常用词组，并具有按照基本构词法识别生词的能力。

3．语法：进一步巩固和加深基本语法知识，并能运用所学语法知识解决阅读翻译中的问题。

4．阅读能力：掌握基本阅读技能，能顺利阅读并理解一般题材、语言难度与课文相仿的文章，速度达到每分钟50个单词。

5．听和译的能力：译：掌握初步翻译技巧，能借助词典译出语言难度略低于课文的文章，译文通顺达意，笔译每小时200个单词。

听：能听懂课堂用语及简单的英语讲课。

6．说的能力：能进行简单的日常会话，能根据所学的教材内容进行问答和复述。

学时分配
函授生的英语教学以学生自学为主，学生应根据本校制定的自学进程，按时按量完成自学任务，按时交寄作业并按时来校参加面授及考试。

函授专升本的英语课程共安排三个学期，每学期自学应不少于150学时（计划学时×3，总计450学时），面授共100学时。

教材安排
函授专升本科学生暂采用《大学英语精读》（上海外语教育出版社）。

面授以精读课本为主，每学期一册，三个学期学完1-3册。

英语第一学期自学计划进程
（专科升本科各专业试用）
一、自学要求
学生应根据教学大纲的要求，按照本进程的安排，按时保质保量地完成英语自学任务，在规定期限内寄交指定完成的作业，对不能按时寄交作业的学生，在期末成绩要予以扣分。

面授时要按时来校上课。

二、自学进程
第一学期按18周自学时间进行安排。

学习内容：精读第一册、快速阅读第一册（共20篇）。

三、自学方法
1．参考《大学英语精读辅导用书》搞清课文的意思，了解本课的重点词汇、短语及句型。

2．跟随录音带熟读课文。

3．做课文后面的练习。

a．深刻理解课文内容；
b．V ocabulary（词汇）练习是让学生通过练习掌握本课重点词汇及短语的意义和用法。

c．Word-Building（构词）练习是使学生熟悉英语单词的构成方法，以便记忆单词及扩大词汇量；
d．Structure（结构）练习是使学生掌握本课的重点句型，并深刻语法知识；
e．Cloze（完形填空）练习是训练学生语篇水平的理解能力；
f. Translation (翻译)练习是培养学生学会应用课文中的词汇或短语，提高翻译能力；
g．Reading Practice（阅读练习）是训练学生的阅读技能，提高学生的阅读能力。

4．在熟悉并掌握了本课重点词汇、短语、习惯用法、句型的基础上再做中译英的练习，该部分练习完成后按时寄交。

5．学习中有什么问题可随作业一起寄来，也可记下后来校面授时提出。

6．作业经教师批改后会随本课练习答案一起寄回，学生应对照答案，检查自己作业中的错误。

Passage Two
Cancer is among the top killer disease in our society today and scientists have found out that stress helps to bring it out. It is worthwhile to consider, therefore, what are the causes of stress in our life, and whether we can do something about them.
Are we under-employed, or overburdened with too many responsibilities? Do we have a right balance of work and leisure (休闲) in our lives? Are our relationships with family, friends or fellow workers all they should be?

Passage Three
I was born in the city of York, in England, in the year 1632. My father was a man of some wealth, able to give me a good home and send me to school. It was his wish that I should be a lawyer but my head began to be filled very early with thoughts of travel, and I would be satisfied with nothing but going to sea. My father gave me strong advice against it, but with little effect. One day, being at Hull, I met a school-fellow who was about to sail for London in his father’s ship, and he invited me to go with him, and without telling my father, I went on board.
On the way to London, a storm arose, the ship was wrecked (失事)，and we barely escaped with our lives. I went on foot to London, where I met with the master of a vessel which did business with countries on the coast of Africa. He took a fancy to me, and offered me a chance to with him on his voyages, which I gladly accepted.

The modern sailing ship was developed by a man who never went to sea. He was Prince Henry of Portugal, the younger one of the Portuguese king and an English princess.
Prince Henry lived in the fifteenth century. As a boy he became devoted to the sea. And he decided himself to improving the design of ships and the methods of sailing them. In 1416, when he was twenty-two, Henry founded a school for mariners, to which he invented everyone who could help him – Jewish astronomers（天文学家）, Italian and Spanish sailors, and Arab mathematicians and map makers who knew how to use the crude（粗糙的）compass（罗盘）of the day and could improve it.
Henry’s goal was to design and equip vessels（船）that would be capable of making long ocean voyages without having to keep close to the shore. The caravel, which he helped design, carried more sails and was longer and slimmer than any ship then made, yet was tough enough to stand up against gales at sea. He also developed the carrack, which was a slower ship, but one that was capable of carrying more cargo（货物）.。
