摘要：The invention relates to radio engineering, in particular to radio location and can be used for remotely measuring radio-technical characteristics of materials and irregularly shaped objects. Said invention makes it possible to increase the accuracy and reliability of the obtained detailed radio-image of the object. The inventive method consists in measuring at predetermined angles the value of the reflected signals of a working site, subsequently placing the object on said working site, definitely measuring the value of the reflected signals, forming the radio-image of the object, additionally binding the preliminary and definitive measurements of the value of the reflected signals to range-resolution cells, in forming, with the aid of a discrete step-by-step location, a spot whose diameter is equal to or greater than 0.6 m on the object plane which is
perpendicular to the radiation axis and whose range-resolution is equal to or greater than 0.25 m. During the radio-image formation, the preliminary phase of measurement of the value of the reflected signals is increased by 180° and the preliminary and the definitive measurements thereof are summed taking into account said phase. The inventive device for carrying out said method comprises an UHF generator, a mixer, an amplifier, a transmitting-receiving antenna, a laser target designator, a first and second video cameras, a video monitor, a circulator, an analog-to-digital converter, a synchroniser, a frequency modulator, a processor, a memory unit, a processing unit, a phase inverter and a control panel.
