Wow! Have you ever heard of Yang Liwei? He's a super cool astronaut from China! Let me tell you all about him.
Yang Liwei was the first Chinese person to go to space. He went up in a spaceship called Shenzhou 5 in 2003. He was up in space for 21 hours and orbited the Earth 14 times. That's so amazing!
Before he became an astronaut, Yang Liwei was a pilot in the Chinese Air Force. He had to train really hard for his space mission. He had to learn how to live in space, do experiments, and even eat special space food!

Hi everyone, today I want to tell you about Yang Liwei, he is China's first astronaut! Isn't that so cool?
Yang Liwei was born on June 21, 1965 in Liaoning Province, China. He joined the Chinese Air Force in 1983 and became a fighter pilot. He was selected to be an astronaut in 1998 and trained for two years before going to space.
On October 15, 2003, Yang Liwei went on the Shenzhou 5 spacecraft and became the first Chinese person to go into space. He orbited the Earth 14 times and spent 21 hours in space. Can
