从前，有一个小村庄，村庄里的人们都非常害怕年兽。

年兽是一个巨大的怪兽，它每年都会在除夕的晚上来到村庄，吓唬人们，让他们不敢出门庆祝新年。

有一年，一个勇敢的小女孩叫小丽决定要面对恐惧。

她对自己说：“我要去和年兽做朋友，让它知道我们并不可怕。

”于是，小丽偷偷地出去找年兽。

在山林间，小丽碰见了一只孤独的龙，它并不像传说中的可怕年兽。

小丽向龙解释：“我是来和年兽做朋友的，希望能够让它明白我们并不害怕它。

”龙听完小丽的话，点了点头，说：“年兽的确是个害怕被伤害的怪兽，但是当我们能够给它理解与友善时，它也会发生改变。

小丽和龙一起来到了年兽的巢穴前，小丽小心地叫了一声：“年兽，能不能出来和我聊聊？”年兽听到小丽的声音，惊讶地出现在她面前。

小丽向年兽表达了她和其他人的诚意，说：“我们并不想伤害你，而是希望和你和平相处。

”年兽听了小丽的话，感到十分感动。

从那天起，年兽和村庄里的人们开始相互理解和友善相处。

年兽意识到，他们并不是要伤害他，而是想要一起度过快乐的新年。

Once upon a time, there was a small village where people were very afraid of the Nian beast. The Nian beast was a huge monster that would come to the village on New Year's Eve every year, scaring the people and preventing them from celebrating the New Year.
One year, a brave little girl named Xiao Li decided to confront her fears. She told herself, "I want to become friends with the Nian beast and show it that we are not scary." So, Xiao Li secretly went out to find the Nian beast.
In the mountains, Xiao Li encountered a lonely dragon. It didn't look like the terrifying Nian beast from the legends. Xiao Li explained to the dragon, "I want to be friends with the Nian beast and show it that we are not afraid of it." The dragon nodded and said, "The Nian beast is indeed a monster that is afraid of being harmed, but when we can offer it understanding and kindness, it can also change."
Xiao Li and the dragon arrived at the den of the Nian beast. Xiao Li cautiously called out, "Nian beast, could you come out and talk to me?" Surprised, the Nian beast appeared in front of her. Xiao Li expressed the sincerity of her and others, saying, "We don't want to harm you, but rather wish to live in peace with you." The Nian beast, moved by Xiao Li's words, felt grateful.
