所教年级高一年级文章主题Degrees of comparison
1.整体设计思路、指导依据说明
本模块的话题是“A Lesson in a Lab”。
本课是一节语法课,训练学生正确表达各种比较级的能力。
本课注重多种不同形式的比较级的教学,将语法通过图片导入——提问——示例——归纳总结——强化练习等一系列的步骤传递给学生。
本课共设计了5个教学环节,运用“任务型”教学和多媒体辅助教学等手段指导学生进行语法训练,在学习过程中,强调发挥学生的自主参与意识,以达到新课标对学生综合能力的要求。
总之,整体设计思路遵循的教学原则是:
从总结规则熟练应用、从整体感知深层评价、从感性理性的原则。
2. 学生情况分析
教学对象是高一年级的学生,初步掌握了一些简单的形容词副词比较级的语法规则,具有一定的分析、概括能力,他们的英语基础知识和基本技能处在一个逐步上升阶段,因此,调动学生的学习兴趣,并引导学生进行扎实有效的学习是课堂教学的关键。
本课主要采用启发诱导的方法,从易到难,从提问到归纳的精心设计教学活动,给学生提高自我,展示自我的机会,激发学生的学习兴趣,让学生体验成功。
3.教学目标分析
教学目标应落实到与本课教学内容相关的具体语言知识或某项技能上,即:通过本节课的教学,重点解决什么问题(知识目标),达到什么样的要求(能力目标)1.知识目标学习并巩固与比较级有关的重点结构和句型:

The +形容词/副词的比较级+主+谓, the +形容词/副词的比较级+主+谓2.能力目标通过课堂教学活动,使学生形成良好的语言学习习惯,逐步形成归纳总结的能力,并最终形成一定的自学能力等。
学生在一定程度上形成自主学习、合作学习、信息处理、英语思维能力以及综合运用语言能力。

5.教学过程设计
Teaching Procedures:
Step I Lead-in:
Greet the whole class. Show the students two pictures and a sentence, and then ask the students to speak out the theme of this lesson.
设计意图:充分利用图片导入营造适宜的课堂氛围,既有知识性又有趣味性,集中学生的注意力,使学生对学习内容产生浓厚的兴趣,轻轻松松进入课堂。
Step II Warming up
Guide the students to review what they have learned about this grammar in their junior high school.
设计意图:通过简单语法复习,鼓励学生回忆所学内容,自然引出下一个教学环节。
Step III Grammar Teaching
Grammar 1 – 1. Questions
1. What is wrong with the sentence?
I went there two times.
I went there twice.
2. If object A is 10 metres long, and
object B is twice as long as object A, how long is object B?
20 metres long.
3. If object A weighs 100 kilogrammes and object B is four times
heavier, how heavy is object B?
400 kilogrammes.
Grammar 1 – 2. Rules
First study the sentences and make a conclusion of the comparative structure of adjectives.
Che Peiyu is twice as heavy as Wang Yuechi.
Yang Hao’s handwriting is not half as good as Wutian’s.
This room is three times as large as that one.
小结1:倍数+as+形容词+as…
The white box is four times bigger than the black box.
This road is twice longer than that one.
The plane flew twenty times higher than the kite.

The red building is twice the height of the grey building.

设计意图:通过例句,让学生自己归纳总结出对应的句型结构,培养学生的归纳总结能力。

Pair work: Make sentences in Activity 2 on Page 43 (sentence 2—5). Check how many sentences you can make.

Make sentences according to the pictures.
Jupiter is eleven times as big as the earth .
Jupiter is eleven times bigger than the earth.
Jupiter is eleven times the size of the earth.
The old man is 60 times as old as the baby.
The old man is 60 times as older than the baby.
The old man is 60 times the age of the baby.
设计意图:通过生动直观的图片,让学生进一步巩固所学句型结构。
Grammar 2 – 1.
Make sentences according to the pictures.
1. It’s becoming bigger and bigger.
2. She is more and more beautiful.
3. The higher it flies, the smaller it appears.
Answer the questions:
A: Which of these structures is used to say that something is changing?
B: Which of these structures is used to say that things change/are
changing together?
C: Which structures repeat the same adjectives/adverbs?
Conclusion:
“越来越……”

Pair work: Look at these sentences. Underline the adverbs used to modify(vt. 修改,修饰)the comparative expressions.
1. Come a bit closer.

3. It weighs a little more than before.
4. It’ll be a lot heavier than magnesium.
5. Is it any heavier?
6. We need a piece which is (very) much bigger than that.

6.教学小结
在设计本课时我在真实的情景中让学生体会英语的语法学习,运用图片展示、启发式教授、活动探究、强化训练等方式,采用任务型教学途径,教学环节设计环环相扣,目标突出。
在平时的教学中不仅要强调对知识的教授,而且要重视学生自学能力的额培养。
