被动式与主动式节能建筑

地球环境战略研究所是一个研究基金会的中心实验室。建筑依山而建,向西可以眺望富士山和相模湾。建筑呈弧线形,环绕着景观展开,并将实验室全部集中在顶层。建筑立面突出的特点是大型的天窗和由再生木材制成的轻质框架。它们与窗户共同作用产生空气流动,显著降低了西面朝向的吸热量。另外,间接采光可以满足70%的室内照明要求。

中庭位于建筑的东部,既是建筑的入口,也是进行交流的场所。作为一种被动式节能系统,它也是一个巨大的通风管道,产生吸力和烟囱效应,巧妙运用了吹向山坡的主导风向。结合这些被动式系统的特点,在设计过程中又加入了一些主动式机械装置。建筑采用交互式网络设计,以提高使用者对于建筑节能的认知,从而使整座建筑使用的能源减少了一半。此外,使用周期长、环境友好型的建筑材料,可使生命周期

A Passive and an Active Environmental Building

The Institute for Global Environmental Strategies

is the central laboratory for a research foundation,

situated on a hillside that overlooks Mount Fuji and

Sagami Bay to the west. The building forms an arc

that embraces these views, and the laboratories are

concentrated on the top floor. The elevations are

distinguished by large louvers and light shelves made

of recycled wood which, when used together with the

windows for air flow, dramatically reduce the heat

gained from its western orientation. Additionally, the

indirect light can supply up to 70% of the required

lighting for the interior.

The atrium in the eastern part of the building is

an entrance as well as a place for social interaction.

As a passive energy system, it is also a massive

ventilation duct that applies suction forces and

chimney effects to make good use of the auspicious

prevailing winds against the hill. In combination

with these passive features, several complimentary

active mechanisms have been incorporated during

the design process. Combined with an intranet

network designed to raise occupant awareness of

the building's energy consumption it is estimated

that the overall building energy usage has been

cut by half. Furthermore, the usage of long-life,

eco-friendly building materials has resulted in a

reduction of LCCO2 emissions by 40%.□
