直观教学手段往往是形象的具体的可操作的，效果也是最能立竿见影的。
下面我简要说几种英语课堂常用到的几种教学方法：1.听、说、做。
例如在学习body时，可做touch(触摸)游戏，即让老师发指令，同学边做动作，边重复身体部位名称。
这样既锻炼了同学的听力，又加深了同学的记忆。
2.演、说、唱。
表演是学习和输出语言的有效途径，课堂上我们可以利用学生善于表现的特点，给学生搭建充分的表演平台。
在学animal时，可抓住每种小动物的特征，边读单词边做动作，边做动作边找相应的单词卡片。
可以做动作模拟表情或者根据动作表情猜单词。
在学习时，还可以适时地学唱一些英语歌曲，既可以调动学习英语的积极性，又可以增强记忆，活跃气氛。
3.听、说、画。
这种方法可以发挥同学的想象力，训练同学在头脑中将英文单词与相应的图联系起来，从而增强分辨、记忆单词的能力。
在学习hot,cold,rainy,windy等表示天气情况的单词的同时，可用简单的图画来表示单词的意思。
在学my clothes时，引导学生根据老师的指令画出衬衫、毛衣、裤子、连衣裙等衣物，与此同时，还可根据指令给这些衣服涂上不同的颜色。
通过这一系列活动，既巩固了新学的单词(衣服名称)，同时又复习了已学过的知识(颜色、方位)。
