我长相出众吗?可人吗?端正吗?令人烦吗?喜欢争执吗?为什么?(先天部分)如果将人们分为不同的类别，我属于哪种类型的人?我的家庭(父母、姐妹、太太、丈夫和孩子)是什么样的?(先天和后天部分)对我的影响是什么?我怕什么?不怕什么?(先天部分)我的教育情况和读书喜好?(后天部分)我的经历给予了我什么样的烙印?对我的未来意味着什么?(后天部分)我天生善于倾听?还是善于争执?是内向型的性格?还是外向型的性格?3.关于选择MBA方面的我为什么要选择MBA？是为了将来的高薪、为了更高的学历、为了找到一份好工作，为了通过学习成为业界高手？我希望通过学习MBA可以使自己在哪方面得到提高？我想选择MBA的哪个方向？我选择MBA的优势与劣势是什么？MBA到底是一个什么样的东西？我是要达到大师级的水平还是普通的管理者的水平？怎样学习MBA？4.通过MBA学位的学习，我想达到什么样的人生目标和预期?具体化自己的目标：事业上面?要根据自身的特点和长处设定自己的业务奋斗领域，相对能够集中精力建立自己的专长。
比如在市场营销、财务管理、资本运作、人力资源管理等相对焦点集中的领域内注意自己的业务发展。
职位上面?自己对自身所具有的领导才能、影响能力、策划能力的分析和估计，设定自己最佳定位的企业内职位，作为一个职业经理人，要努力在这个方面建立自己的市场价码。
财富上面?给自己勾画一个财富曲线，在自己职业生涯的过程中，不可能总是处在收入和职务的巅峰，即便是有，也是很小的概率存在的，要实事求是地为自己设定量化的奋斗目标。
社会层面?每个人都有自己的社会地位，并且力求社会对自己贡献和影响的认可，对于职业经理人来说，这也是很重要的，对自己应该有哪些要求呢?自己又具备哪些能力来达到呢?我的生命曲线(年龄、事业、财富、职位、社会地位等)如何形成?可以勾画出一个综合的曲线来观察分析自己心目中的生命曲线，这个曲线在遇到各种事件的时候，都会有所偏离和重新定位，但是由于个人性格等天生素质的一定，每个人还是按照一定相关的规律性在运行，机遇是其中的很大因素之一。
我的事业、职位、财富等在我心目中的定位?每个人其实在这几个目标的排列上有着不同的排列和追求，我自己不认为这里有太大的对和错的区别，完全和每个个人的价值观取向相关。
5.什么会阻止我达到这些或这个目标?我的各种个性上的先天特点。

在老师问到职业生涯相关问题的时候，就不只是感性的认知，而是尽力用已经有的经历来转化成为自己的资本，将负面的东西转化为正面的东西。

在对自己进行深入的了解之后，再进行自我定位就变得相当容易了。
