Good morning ladies and gentlemen 。i am number one。It's my great honor to be here sharing my teaching ideas. As an old saying goes, all work and no play makes jack a dull boy. Today my topic is maybe you should learn to relax. I will explain this lesson from following parts.

Part one, analyses of teaching Material.

It's a reading passage, which talks about, children are under pressure of after school classes and they need to learn to relax. This topic is related to students daily life. By learning it student can learn to relax。

Part two, analyses of students.

Junior school students may have the same experience so they are familiar with this passage. Besides they have some basic knowledge, but their reading skills need to be improved.

Part three analyses of teaching aims.

Based on new curriculum standard,I set three teaching aims.

The knowledge aim is to master key words and expressions such as, compete, compare with.

The ability aim is to improve reading skills, such as skimming and scanning.

The emotional aim is to face pressure and deal with it in right way.

The teaching importance is to understand the passage completely. The teaching difficulty is to use target language in real situations.

Now let's talk about, part four, teaching and learning methods.

I mainly adopt task based and situational teaching method and Independence and cooperation learning methods. Besides, I will use multimedia, blackboard and guiding paper as my teaching aids.

Here comes the most important part. Part five, teaching procedures with seven steps. Before the class, I will show students the teacher aims on the power point. Then divide the class into four groups and good performance can get a red heart.

Step one lead in.

I will invite students to enjoy a video about after school classes. And ask students what are they doing in the video. Do you have to take after school classes, and why. The purpose is to arose students interest and guide students to predict that text.

Step two fast reading.

Students will look through the passage in four minutes to find out the main idea.

In this way students can improve their skimming ability.

In order to get more details, let's move to step three intensive reading.

Students will read the passage carefully in fifteen minutes to finish four tasks.

Task one, read the first paragraph with questions.

what after school classes do chinese students have to take? and why?

Task two read the second paragraph with questions.

What after classes do American students have to take? and why?

Task three read the rest paragraphs with questions.

Does Miller agree with Taylor, and what's the doctor's opinion about this problem. Task four fill in the blanks, and guess the new words meaning by context.

The purpose is to help students and stand the passage completely, and improve their
