仿生设计是取之自然的典型行为,是创意设计中的重要组成部分,其哲学内涵与21世纪服饰文化发展所追求的人与自然地统一的内涵不谋而合。

本文将通过对仿生设计学的概念、分类以及仿生设计学在历史过程中的发展,来对现代仿生设计的发展历程及应用进行详尽分析。

“师法自然”与“天人合一”既是中国传统哲学理念的精髓,同时也是仿生设计作为服装设计未来发展的永恒主题。

1、仿生设计概念及内容阐述仿生设计学,亦可称之为设计仿生学(Design Bionics),是以自然界万事万物的“形”、“色”、“音”、“功能”、“结构”等为研究对象,有选择地在设计过程中应用这些特征原理进行的设计。

仿生设计学是仿生学与设计学互相交叉渗透而结合成的一门的边缘学科,其研究范围非常广泛,研究内容丰富多彩,特别是由于仿生学和设计学涉及到自然科学和社会科学的许多学科,因此也就很难对仿生设计学的研究内容进行划分。

其中之一就是基于对所模拟生物系统在设计中的不同应用而分门别类的。

在服装设计领域掀起的“回归自然”以及“返璞归真”的设计理念,也是受到了生命系统的影响。

形态亲切与符合自然生态规律的仿生设计由此而来,仿生设计潮流使以人为本的服装设计理念有了更加深刻的思想,不仅涉及到服装设计外在形式,还关注了内在感情的流动,属于一种感性与理性向交融的新型设计理念。

1.仿生设计的概念与特点1.1仿生设计的概念仿生中的“生”就是自然界客观存在的物质以及自然形态,通常包括了人类文明的各类产物与意识形态,例如自然界中的动植物表现以及人类文明创作的艺术作品等。

而服装设计是在一定的社会以及文化环境下,按照人们的审美需求以及物质需求,运用特定的思维形式与审美原理,将设计构想通过绘画的形式清晰的表达出来,随后选择相应的素材通过科学的剪裁方式,将设计实物化[1]。

服务装仿生设计通常是以自然界以及人类社会中的元素为参照对象的艺术表现形态。

服装设计中的仿生设计属于仿生设计学的范畴,是以自然界生物的法杖规律以及自然的生态现象作为根本依据,以此激发设计灵感的艺术实践活动。

此外,仿生设计还能够运用在服装设计的各项要素以及服装部件与细节中,属于视觉意识范畴。

451191【正文语种】中文【中图分类】TS941.2仿生学是一门模仿生物的自然结构、功能及特性进行应用的学科[1].仿生设计源于仿生学,它基于模仿自然界生物的某些特质进行再设计与再创作,同时结合仿生学的研究成果,为设计提供新的原理、新的方法和新的可能[2].俄国作家车尔尼雪夫斯基曾说过:“构成自然界的美使我们想起了人类的东西,自然界的美的事物,只有作为人的一种暗示才有美的意义.”[3]自然界中,生物的形、色、功能、结构,吸引着人们不断去想象和模仿,正是人类孜孜不倦的仿生创新设计,才为现代设计注入了无尽的美感和源源不断的活力.仿生设计在服装设计中的运用由来已久,自古以来,人类赖以生存的大自然一直是服装设计最直接、最生动的灵感来源.无论是原始人用树叶、兽皮或者羽毛系扎在腰间,或是佩戴骨、贝、牙等制作的装饰品,还是用赤铁矿研磨的红色粉末来装饰自己,都是服饰历史上的仿生.随着科学技术的发展,仿生手段也在与时俱进,不断翻新.仿生设计在服装设计中的应用并非灵感突发、信手拈来,而是有一定规律可循的.服装仿生设计可以通过确立仿生原型、选择仿生设计角度、实施具体方案、总体完善等一系列过程完成.服装仿生设计的步骤如图1所示.1.1 确立仿生原型首先,通过前期的市场调研和问卷调查,了解目标消费者的消费需求和喜好,明确设计定位,结合市场需求和本季服装需要表达的设计理念,收集仿生素材、确立仿生的原型.大量收集自然原型素材的过程是获得设计灵感和启发的必要手段.1.1.1 仿生特征的提取在提炼设计元素的过程中要有所取舍,选取可运用的元素进行深入分析,仿生对象的自然形态可能复杂无序且特征众多,不同种类、结构及色彩的自然生物所包含的视觉特征和心理感受千差万别,设计师需要从一个点入手,突出仿生对象某一方面的形态特征,弱化其他形态特征,做到主题突出、设计元素醒目,这样才能避免眉毛胡子一把抓.1.1.2 仿生特征的转化将提取到的自然元素转化为可以运用的服装设计元素,尽量避免对仿生对象的机械模仿,需要设计师对其形态特征进行概括和转化,这一过程即仿生特征的转化和取舍.仿生特征的转化分为具象仿生、抽象仿生与意象仿生.(1)具象仿生服装仿生设计中的具象仿生,顾名思义就是忠实于原型的自然形态特征,用较为直观的设计方式模仿、再现原型.这种仿生形式具有单纯性和直观性的特点,中国传统服装中的水田衣、鱼鳞百褶裙等服装款式都属于具象仿生的范畴.这种仿生模式一目了然,容易引起大家对自然美的共鸣.(2)抽象仿生抽象仿生对自然形态的模仿由单纯的忠于原型,向联想式、抽象式的模仿转变.抽象仿生对原型中复杂的形态进行概括、提取和重组,不求形似,只求神似.设计师需要充分发挥发散性思维,衍生出具有某种原型形态特征的设计,对自然形态进行再塑造和抽象变化.因此,抽象仿生在外形上具有简化性,在本质特征上具有概括性和含蓄性.譬如,服装设计师张肈达的作品(见图2)灵感来自川藏地区的山川、河流等地理面貌,设计师运用抽象仿生的手法,通过丰富的面料肌理和色彩传达了自己的设计理念.(3)意象仿生意象仿生的表达方式有一定的隐喻性和符号性,无关外形,重在意会,设计师在人体与服装空间中探寻一种精神表达,以传神、思意的方式表达自己的美学观点和设计理念.设计师将本人的主观情感、想象力、人文情怀等融入服装设计中,将服装的设计内涵引入一个更高层面的精神境界.譬如,英国服装设计师维维安·韦斯特伍德在2012年巴黎时装周上的作品(见图3),主题为“拯救地球”,设计师通过破旧的材料、暗淡的色彩和撕扯的结构表现荒芜、了无生机的意向,呼吁人们关注全球变暖、生态污染、荒漠化等环境问题.在意象仿生中,由于受众的年龄、修养、文化、思维方式等方面的差异,同一仿生元素所产生的意象感受和符号联想也迥然不同.1.2 选择仿生设计角度对仿生对象的模仿可以从色彩与图案、形态、材料、功能这4个方面入手,根据服装设计的需要,选择合适的仿生方法表现设计元素.1.2.1 服装的色彩与图案仿生服装的色彩搭配与图案运用没有固定模式,充满了无限的可能,只要和谐悦目,没有什么不可以.大自然鬼斧神工地创造了各种色彩搭配和生物的图案纹理,是十分丰富的视觉财富,充满了启发性.自古人们就懂得利用大自然中的植物性染料、动物性染料及矿物性染料来印染服装,通过萃取天然色素,把自然色彩搬到服装上,借鉴动植物的图案纹理运用到服饰上.可见,这样的色彩与图案仿生早已被人们熟练运用了.譬如,唐代女子极为青睐的石榴裙,因石榴裙色如石榴之红而得名,是由红花、茜草、苏木等植物染料染成的.唐朝诗人万楚在《五月观妓》中写道:“眉黛夺将萱草色,红裙妒杀石榴花”,便是对石榴裙美丽、鲜艳色彩的真实写照.人们对自然界色彩与图案的认识和理解,都含有人类心理的联想和情感的升华,所以这些色彩与图案仿生都包含特定的寓意.譬如,中国传统服饰经常将动植物以图案的形式表现在服饰上,这些图案除了基本的美化和装饰作用外,更重要的是有象征意义,几乎是“图必有意,意必吉祥”.譬如,猫和蝶,谐音耄耋,寓意长寿;蜻蜓和白菜,谐音清白,象征清清白白做人[4].1.2.2 服装的形态仿生服装的形态仿生是仿生设计的主要内容,它强调对生物外部形态美的表现.在服装设计的过程中,设计师将自然界中生物的形态元素加以归纳和提炼,用一定的艺术手法表现到服装设计中,寻求服装形态的突破与创新.形态仿生包括对生物的外部轮廓、形体或者内部构造、肌肉、骨骼等局部结构元素的仿生,如图4所示,该设计作品逼真地模仿了人体肌肉、血管的分布,带有明显的趣味性和先锋性.1.2.3 服装的材料仿生自然生物的表面质感与肌理不仅是一种触觉或视觉表象,也是由内在功能决定的外部表现.通过对生物表面质感与肌理的仿生,可以增强服装材料的功能和表现力.随着纺织科技的发展,一些面料模仿生物表面的自然属性,传达面料表面肌理的审美体验和视觉效果,同时也改造了面料的实用功能.如模仿动物的皮毛制成人造皮草,模仿飞禽的羽毛制作的面料,模仿桑蚕丝制成人造真丝面料等,服装面料的仿生技术已达到了以假乱真的效果.例如,法国服装设计师卡米尔·可塔特模仿蛇皮结构所设计的面料(见图5),由该面料制作的裤子虽然贴身,却如同人的第二层皮肤一样,轻盈舒展且运动自如.1.2.4 服装的功能仿生服装的功能仿生主要研究自然生物的功能原理与特征,运用在服装设计中以促进服装的功能改进或新功能的开发.生物在漫长的进化过程中逐渐具备了许多神奇的功能和本领,人类通过创造性的劳动,不断对生物的功能进行模仿和运用,为服装设计提供了新的思路.譬如,宇航员或飞行员在飞船或飞机突然加速时,血压会急剧升高甚至血管爆裂,设计师从长颈鹿的身上得到了启示.长颈鹿是世界上最高的动物,大脑和心脏的距离达到3 m左右,当长颈鹿低头饮水时,大脑的位置低于心脏,大量血液会涌到大脑,但是长颈鹿并未出现血压突然增高、脑充血或血管破裂的情况,原因是长颈鹿身上紧绷的厚厚皮肤箍住了血管,限制了血压升高.设计师由此得到灵感,设计出了抗荷服.当飞行器加速时,抗荷服的内设装置可在服装内填充空气,压迫血管不致血压升高.1.3 实施具体方案根据确定的仿生方法,将仿生元素运用到服装设计中,绘制服装设计效果图,这是一个深化灵感和设计思维的过程.通过绘制效果图,使处于萌芽状态的设计思路逐渐清晰,将脑海中的想法付诸实践.另外,有必要将可用到的工艺、印染等设计制成实样,以验证实际制作的可行性,也能在实样制作的过程中获得更多启发,进一步改进设计.1.4 总体完善每一件服装成品的完成,都离不开反复修改和完善.在设计的最终阶段,需要把设计的重心从细节的推敲转移到整体的把握上来,审视部分与部分、整体与部分之间的关系.在这个阶段,设计师尝试回到最初寻求灵感时的状态,重新审视自己的作品,从美学价值、功能性、文化性、创新性、成本控制等方面对设计作品进行评估,对设计方案进行有针对性的补充和修正.通过对自然界中众多仿生形态的搜索和了解,笔者选定了鹦鹉螺这一生物(见图6)作为仿生的原型.鹦鹉螺是一种有着螺旋状外壳的海洋软体动物,整体造型的外切面呈现优美的螺线,其结构曲线被认为是完美的“黄金螺旋线”,即以斐波那契数列为边长的正方形拼成长方形,在正方形里画一个90°的扇形,连起来的弧线就是“黄金螺旋线”,又称为斐波那契螺旋线,见图7.黄金螺旋的线条富于韵律感和秩序感,婉转美妙,符合女性柔美的气质,特别适用于女装设计.确定仿生原型后,笔者通过对原型的解构分析和高度概括,提炼出特征线条,抓住“黄金螺旋线”这一主要仿生特征,根据形式美原理进行适当的变形、夸张与抽象化,分别从点、线、面入手做了仿生特征的转化,见图8.选取几何形平面为切入点展开深化设计,笔者做出了两种设计方案.第一种方案选择图案仿生的设计角度,直接把几何图形用作服饰图案,打散重组,充分发挥其平面装饰效果,正背面款式见图9.第二种方案选择形态仿生的设计角度,将鹦鹉螺的线条进一步抽象化,转化到服装的立体衣褶中,与服装廓形很好地衔接,将螺旋线条用立体裁剪的方式重新演绎,使服装的外轮廓型凹凸有致,富于动感与创意,极大地丰富了服饰的设计语言,见图10.在倡导可持续发展和绿色设计的时代背景下,仿生设计找到了人类设计创作活动与自然界的契合点,既能够让自己的生存环境与自然达到统一,又能带给人们更加丰富多彩的视觉和心理感受.仿生设计在服装中的运用,极大地丰富了服装的外部形态、色彩、材料及功能,也满足了人类的审美需求和情感表达,唤醒了人们内心向往自然的情怀,增进了人类与自然界的和谐统一[5].本研究通过构建服装仿生设计的步骤图,明晰了仿生在服装设计中的应用方法,又通过服装仿生设计实践探索了仿生的多种可能性,进一步验证了服装仿生设计的流程,为未来的服装仿生设计实践奠定了基础.【相关文献】[1] 它作为人类生产活动和自然界的锲和点,使人类社会与自然界达到高度统一,并逐渐成为设计发展过程中新的亮点。

本文研究的目的是仿生设计在服装设计领域(礼服设计)的重要性。

主要以礼服的造型、色彩、面料为研究对象,搜集人类历史中礼服的发展资料,探索自然界生物形态在礼服设计中的情感表达,并以晚礼服为例进行具体的分析。

1.仿生设计学的研究内容仿生设计学研究范围非常广泛,研究内容丰富多彩。

归纳起来,仿生设计学的研究内容主要有:1)形态仿生设计学研究的是生物体(包括动物、植物、微生物)和自然界物质(如日、月、风、云、山等)的外部形态及其象征意义,以及如何通过相应的艺术处理手法将之应用到设计之中。

2)功能仿生设计学主要研究生物体和自然界物质存在的功能原理,并用这些原理去改进现有的技术,以促进产品的更新和功能的完善。

3)视觉仿生设计学研究生物体的视觉器官对图象的识别、对视觉信号的分析与处理,它广泛应用于产品设计、视觉传达设计和环境设计。
