Life of Pi was released in 2012 and could be called a classic one. That year I was a middle school student having not much spare time for movies. So when my friends skipped to the movie theater for this famous movie, I lost the first chance to watch it as soon as possible. This classic movie appreciation course I took recently gave me opportunity to view this worldwide-known movie----Life of Pi.

I indulged in the movie during the class, and felt so impressed after it. So I watched it again in the dormitory. Then I found another story in this movie, which was greatly different from the whole story intending to tell. With the help from internet, I was surprised by the second unrecovered story buried deeply inside.

故事的开头是十分祥和平静的，动物园里的动物们互相不远不近的生活着，没有烦恼没有苦痛，像童话一样的动物园，pi拥有一个善解人意的支持他信仰的美丽的妈妈，一个严厉却时刻担心他的爸爸，一个看似嘲笑他却总是默默关心他的哥哥，还有一个年少时期相互喜欢的她。放弃动物园，离开家乡和女孩，卖掉动物，沉船。。。镜头飞快的转变，pi变成了一个与几只动物相依为伴的孤单男孩子。没有食物，pi可以用救生艇上的罐头和饼干维持生命，动物的世界只能是弱肉强食，渐渐四个动物就只剩下一子成年孟加拉虎，理查德帕克。缘分曾经让他们擦肩而过。而在漂流的这一段时间，pi和理查德帕克都是相依为伴的。
