Teaching Aims:

1.Students should understand about the world war‖and the history.

reading and so on.

Step 4 Play some pictures and short movies about the world war‖

Step 5 Present the background of the world war‖(students)

Task1: Read the passage again and answer the following questions.

1)About how long had Anne and her family been in the hiding place when she

wrote this part of her diary?

2)How did Anne feel about nature before her and her family hid away?

3)Why do you think her feelings changed towards nature?

4)Why did Anne no longer just like looking at nature out of the window?

Task 1: Observe the two pictures on the textbook and answer the following

questions.

Q1: Who are they?

Q2: Where are they?

Q3: How do they look?

Q4: Why are they hidden behind the window?

Task 2: How would you describe Anne’s feeling as she looking out at the night sky? Work in groups and list some adjectives to describe her feelings as much as possible. Task 3: Imagine you have to go into hiding like Anne and her family. What would you take? And why?
