Book3 Module5 Reading and Vocabulary 说课稿尊敬的各位评委,下午好!很高兴有机会向大家展示一下我对第三册第五模块Reading and Vocabulary部分的教学设计。

(同时板书 : Book3 - Module 5 R eading and Vocabulary )新课标要求我们要围绕三维教学目标开展教学,整合发展学生语言知识、语言技能、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识五个方面的素养,培养学生综合运用语言的能力。

根据这一要求,针对学生的实际情况,我重新整合教材完成了教学设计。

它由教材分析、目标和方法分析、过程分析和板书设计四部分组成。

第一:教材分析该模块的主题是:Great People and Great Inventions of Ancient China (中国古代的伟人和伟大发明)。

Reading and Vocabulary 是整个模块的核心。

它以文章Philosophers of Ancient China 为载体,为我们了介绍了中国古代三位思想家及其学说。

同时呈现出了本模块的重点词汇、句型、语法和语言功能。

第二:目标和方法分析这节课的语言知识目标有三个:一是识记与文章有关的8 个单词,学会运用 3 个重点单词和 4 个重点短语,这是基础也是重点;二是理解并运用 2 个分词作状语的句子,两个含t hose的句子, 1 个即含有定语从句又含有表语从句的句子。

这是重点也是难点;三是注意 where \ when \ whose \ why 引导的定语从句在文中的运用,这为下节语法课的学习做了铺垫。

我把这节课的能力目标定位在:重点操练学生整体把握文章结构的能力和捕捉细节的阅读能力;重点操练学生 skimmimg 和 scanning 的阅读技巧。

为了实现这些目标,我将采用:分层教学、合作学习和循环大课堂与PWP 相互穿插的教学模式。

针对不同环节,我分别运用了直观法、头脑风暴法、讨论法和归纳法等教学方法。

Abt the tpi通过本单元的学习,可以帮助学生更多地了解节日、体味文化;同时又可and the trtre单元话题和以引导学生理解、尊重不同的文化和习俗。

结构本单元语言功能项目是:方向、位置和情感。

本单元语言结构项目是“名词从句作同位语”。

本单元还要求学生学习写作“描写文:报道”。

《金色教案》教学设计在单元课时划分上与课本保持一致,即“阅读课、知识课、运用课三课时/三课型划分”。

但在实际教学过程中,建议教师依据学生基础、教学条件、学校安排的因素,对课本、对《金色教案》教学设计重新划分课时,裁剪、拼接使用提供的材料,以便“物尽所用”,达到最佳教学效果。

本模块内容将以第一篇文章——Great People and Great Inventions of Ancient China为主,第二篇——The Industrial Revolution为辅,重点在于学会使用限制性定语从句等相关句式,生动详尽的介绍人物及其贡献;难点在于突破中式英语思维,不生硬的直译,而是学习文本中的简单平易的句子,用浅显的词句表达复杂深刻的思想内涵。

本模块听力训练部分不作为重点,可略去。

计划用四课时学习课本文本材料:一节阅读课,集中学习Great People and Great Inventions of Ancient China,第二节课学习材料中知识点(词汇、短语、句式),第三节课进一步学习限制性定语从句并跟上巩固练习,第四节课学习Cultural Corner and Everyday English.学情分析对本模块所涉及古代中国先哲文化等相关内容,学生一点都不陌生,他们从语文或历史课上已经获取非常多的相关信息。

但接触英文版介绍较少,所以感到有新鲜感,乐于学习和进一步了解,并对照中英表述的不同。

这是非常好的提高中英互译能力的机会,也是难得的东西方文化交流与碰撞的机会。

本模块生词不多,限制性定语从句出现频率高,是学习重点。

绝大多数学生都接触过定语从句,了解先行词、引导词及常见定语从句类型,但在选择使用定语从句引导词上拿不准,不能理性的分析并选中合适的引导词。

许多同学在写作中也难以有意识的使用定语从句,老感觉题材不合适没机会使用,不能变通的合并短句,糅合而成含定语从句的长句子。
