The BA6238A, BA6238AN, BA6239A, and BA6239AN are monolithic ICs incorporating two reversible-motor drivers that are suitable for driving small DC brush motors. The logic input section for controlling each motor can be easily connected with CMOSs and other control logic outputs. The torque during loading can be varied by controlling the voltage supplied to the motor with pin 8 of the output section. With a limited number of external parts, each driver has a function of two reversible-motor drivers. FApplications VCRs and audio tape recorders FFeatures 1) Two reversible-motor driver circuits are built in. FOperation notes (1) LED connection Connect the LEDs as indicated in Fig. 2. Note that the connection methods are different for bar and dot displays, and that in the case of bar display, pin 18 is open, while for dot display, pin 18 is connected to GND. When using different color LEDs that have different current values (e.g. green for the lower 10 LEDs and red for the top two) set the value of the current to the larger LED current using the external resistor, and adjust the current value for LEDs that require a smaller current by connecting resistors in parallel them. If you wish to remove LEDs, do so from the lowest level. (except when the 12th LED is not used for display alignment). Be certain to short unused LEDs. (2) LED current adjustment The LED current is set using R1. The relationship between the value of R1 and the typical LED current is given in Fig. 3.

4 典型的集成ADC芯片为了满足多种需要,目前国内外各半导体器件生产厂家设计并生产出了多种多样的ADC芯片。

仅美国AD公司的ADC产品就有几十个系列、近百种型号之多.从性能上讲,它们有的精度高、速度快,有的则价格低廉.从功能上讲,有的不仅具有A/D转换的基本功能,还包括内部放大器和三态输出锁存器;有的甚至还包括多路开关、采样保持器等,已发展为一个单片的小型数据采集系统。

尽管ADC芯片的品种、型号很多,其内部功能强弱、转换速度快慢、转换精度高低有很大差别,但从用户最关心的外特性看,无论哪种芯片,都必不可少地要包括以下四种基本信号引脚端:模拟信号输入端(单极性或双极性);数字量输出端(并行或串行);转换启动信号输入端;转换结束信号输出端。

除此之外,各种不同型号的芯片可能还会有一些其他各不相同的控制信号端.选用ADC芯片时,除了必须考虑各种技术要求外,通常还需了解芯片以下两方面的特性.(1)数字输出的方式是否有可控三态输出。

有可控三态输出的ADC 芯片允许输出线与微机系统的数据总线直接相连,并在转换结束后利用读数信号RD选通三态门,将转换结果送上总线。

没有可控三态输出(包括内部根本没有输出三态门和虽有三态门、但外部不可控两种情况)的ADC芯片则不允许数据输出线与系统的数据总线直接相连,而必须通过I/O接口与MPU交换信息。

(2)启动转换的控制方式是脉冲控制式还是电平控制式.对脉冲启动转换的ADC芯片,只要在其启动转换引脚上施加一个宽度符合芯片要求的脉冲信号,就能启动转换并自动完成。

The TSB81BA3 provides the digital and analog transceiver functions needed to implement a three-port node in a cable-based IEEE 1394 network. Each cable port incorporates two differential line transceivers. The transceivers include circuitry to monitor the line conditions as needed for determining connection status, for initialization and arbitration, and for packet reception and transmission. The TSB81BA3 is designed to interface with a link-layer controller (LLC), such as the TSB82AA2, TSB12LV21, TSB12LV26, TSB12LV32, TSB42AA4, TSB42AB4, TSB12LV01B, or TSB12LV01C. It may also be connected cable port to cable port to an integrated 1394 Link + PHY layer such as the TSB43AB2. The TSB81BA3 is powered by dual supplies, a 3.3-V supply for I/O and a core voltage supply. The core voltage supply is supplied to the PLLVDD-1.8 and DVDD-1.8 terminals to the requirements in the recommended operating conditions. The PLLVDD-1.8 terminals must be separated from the DVDD-1.8 terminals, the PLLVDD-1.8 terminals are decoupled with 1 µF and smaller decoupling capacitors, and the DVDD-1.8 terminals separately decoupled with a 1 µF and smaller decoupling capacitors. The separation between DVDD-1.8 and PLLVDD-1.8 may be implemented by separate power supply rails, or by a single power supply rail, where the DVDD-1.8 and PLLVDD-1.8 are separated by a filter network to keep noise from the PLLVDD-1.8 supply. The TSB81BA3 requires an external 98.304-MHz crystal oscillator to generate a reference clock. The external clock drives an internal phase-locked loop (PLL), which generates the required reference signal. This reference signal provides the clock signals that control transmission of the outbound encoded information. A 49.152-MHz clock signal is supplied to the associated LLC for synchronization of the two devices and is used for resynchronization of the received data when operating the PHY-link interface in compliance with the IEEE 1394a−2000 standard. A 98.304-MHz clock signal is supplied to the associated LLC for synchronization of the two devices when operating the PHY-link interface in compliance with the IEEE P1394b standard. The power down (PD) function, when enabled by asserting the PD terminal high, stops operation of the PLL. Data bits to be transmitted through the cable ports are received from the LLC on 2, 4, or 8 parallel paths (depending on the requested transmission speed and PHY-link interface mode of operation). They are latched internally, combined serially, encoded, and transmitted at 98.304, 196.608, 393.216, 491.52, or 983.04 Mbits/s (referred to as S100, S200, S400, S400B, or S800 speed, respectively) as the outbound information stream. The PHY-link interface can follow either the IEEE 1394a−2000 protocol or the IEEE 1394b−2002 protocol. When using a 1394a−2000 LLC such as the TSB12LV26, the BMODE terminal must be deasserted. The PHY-link interface then operates in accordance with the legacy 1394a−2000 standard. When using a 1394b LLC such as the TSB82AA2, the BMODE terminal must be asserted. The PHY-link interface then conforms to the P1394b standard. The cable interface can follow either the IEEE 1394a−2000 protocol or the 1394b protocol on all ports. The mode of operation is determined by the interface capabilities of the ports being connected. When any of the three ports is connected to a 1394a−2000 compliant device, the cable interface on that port operates in the 1394a−2000 data-strobe mode at a compatible S100, S200, or S400 speed. When a bilingual port is connected to a 1394b compliant node, the cable interface on that port operates per the P1394b standard at S400B or S800 speed. The TSB81BA3 automatically determines the correct cable interface connection method for the bilingual ports.

Noise gate A high-cut filter is provided to continuously vary the amount of attenuation depending on the input level, and reduce the hiss from tape media that is audible at low volume or on blank sections of tape. This means, that at normal levels, the attenuation of the high-cut filter is minimal, and almost no audio information is lost. As the level becomes smaller, the attenuation of the high-cut filter gradually increases to cut hiss in a natural sounding way. Mode switch The DC voltage on the CTL pin can be used to switch the IC between processing mode and bypass mode. When processing mode is selected, the audio signal is enhanced using the compensation circuits described above before being output. When bypass mode is selected, the signal bypasses all of the compensation circuits, and only passes through a buffer amplifier before output.

FExplanation of application circuit example The application circuit shown in Fig. 2 is for the BA6138. The audio signal is compressed to its square root and generated to R3 and R4 as a DC output. By introducing the output voltage of R3 and R4 into the input of a linear level meter IC (12 to 16 points, LED or fluorescent drive level meter IC), a high precision level meter can be created. The relation between the input voltage and output voltage of the application example of Fig. 2 is shown in Fig. 3.
If this pin is not used, open-circuit or ground it. A negative voltage of up to *10V can also be applied to this pin. R3, R4 These form the load resistance of the BA6138. By making this resistance extremely low, the recovery time will shorten, however, dispersion will increase. In the application example, the resistance can go to about 3.3kΩ. If the recovery time has been fixed, R1 = R2 can be decreased and C3 = C4 can be increased to lower the load resistance.

By adding a resistor RIN in series with the input pin, the input-output voltage relation can be shifted. To maintain good linearity, the value of the resistor should be no more than 3kΩ.
