Duties OF THE DIRECTOR2.1 Pre-Production.The Director will be responsible for the pre-production of the Film,including but not limited to the following:(a) Preparing and presenting the Treatment, Synopsis, and Script to the Producer;(b) Collaborating with the Producer in the selection of the cast and crew;(c) Overseeing the preparation of the shooting schedule, budget, and other pre-production matters; and(d) Attending all necessary pre-production meetings and conferences.2.2 Production.The Director will be responsible for the production of the Film, including but not limited to the following:(a) Directing the actors and crew in the production of the Film;(b) Adhering to the shooting schedule and budget;(c) Ensuring the quality and integrity of the Film; and(d) Making all necessary creative decisions in connection with the Film, subject to the approval of the Producer.2.3 Post-Production.The Director will be responsible for the post-production of the Film, including but not limited to the following:(a) Overseeing the editing, sound, and visual effects of the Film;(b) Collaborating with the Producer in the selection of the composer and other post-production personnel;(c) Ensuring the completion of the Film within the agreed-upon timeframe; and(d) Attending all necessary post-production meetings and conferences.3. COMPENSATION3.1 Salary.The Director will receive a salary in the amount of [Salary] per year, payable bi-weekly or monthly, as determined by the Producer.3.2 Additional Compensation.The Director will also be entitled to receive additional compensation in the form of a percentage of the Net Profits (as defined below) of the Film, if any, as follows:(a) [Percentage]% of the Net Profits in excess of [Threshold] until the aggregate compensation paid to the Director under this Agreement reaches [Cap]; and(b) [Percentage]% of the Net Profits in excess of [Cap] thereafter. REPRESENTATION AND WARRANTIES4.1 Representation.Each Party represents and warrants to the other Party that it has the full right, power, and authority to enter into this Agreement and to performits obligations hereunder.4.2 Non-Disclosure.Each Party agrees to maintain in confidence any and all confidential information disclosed by the other Party in connection with this Agreement, except to the extent such information is or becomes publicly known through no fault of the Party in breach.5. INDEMNIFICATION5.1 Indemnification by the Director.The Director shall indemnify and hold harmless the Producer from any and all claims, demands, actions, suits, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with any breach of this Agreement by the Director.5.2 Indemnification by the Producer.The Producer shall indemnify and hold harmless the Director from any and all claims, demands, actions, suits, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with any breach of this Agreement by the Producer.6. TERMINATION6.1 Termination for Cause.Either Party may terminate this Agreement for cause upon written notice to the other Party if the other Party breaches this Agreement and fails to cure such breach within [Time] after receipt of written noticethereof.6.2 Termination by Producer.The Producer may also terminate this Agreement at any time for any or no reason upon written notice to the Director.7. Film Director
A film director is a person who directs the actors and crew in the making of a film. They control a film's artistic and dramatic aspects, while guiding the technical crew and actors. Filmmakers are responsible for overseeing creative aspects of a film under the film producer. They often develop the vision for a film and carry the vision out, deciding how the film should look. They are responsible for turning the script into a sequence of shots. They need to be self-smart because they always need to design things, and they need to make sure that what they do is the best ,it can get the most adore from the audiences.
