初中牛津英语9A Unit 2 Main task 模块的教学案例
教学实践2014-06一、背景介绍和教材分析随着课改的向前推进,中考对学生的写作要求越来越高,在中考笔试试卷上,写作占15分(总分96分)之多,比重也越来越大。
为了能提升学生的写作能力,英语教师想方设法,绞尽脑汁。
然而,在平时的教学中和考试的质量分析情况看,在书面表达这一项中学生存在的问题很多,得分率普遍偏低,这无疑对学生的学习语言造成了巨大障碍。
要想有效地提高学生的书面表达能力,更好地发展学生学习语言的基本技能,提高英语教学质量,就必须在平时的教学中寻找更多行之有效的策略,训练学生的写作能力。
为此,2013年10月份,我校英语组举行了“同课异构”赛课活动,笔者有幸参加了本次赛课活动。
我参赛的课题为9A Unit2 Colours and moods的Main task部分,本单元的中心话题是“颜色与心情”,学习不同种类的颜色及其对人情绪的影响。
而Main task部分是利用所学知识来鼓励学生谈论不同颜色在日常广告中的运用是否得当。
上课之前我已经听了其他年级几位老师的课,并发现了上课环节中的几点不足,对自己所设计好的PPT进行了修改,努力想把这节课上出特色来。
二、教学过程在平时的教学中,为了调动学生学习英语的主动性和积极性,并且营造一种良好的课堂学习氛围,我非常注重在上课前留预习作业,让学生课后准备一点与新课相关的东西。
比如,这节课前,我让学生设计一套参加生日派对的衣服,说明颜色和为什么要穿这样的颜色。
准备一份daily report,以便在课堂例行daily report中展示,这样,学生会主动去复习颜色及其对人情绪的影响,上课时我无需展示太多的图片或视频来复习与写作有关的颜色及其所代表的含义。

洁心与大熊在进入高中的第一天相识,两人都是大个子,分座位的时候,老师让男女生各排一队,一队一个次第走到座位上,最后一排有六张桌子,洁心谦虚地站到一个比自己矮一点 点的女生前面,与大熊成了同桌

教学目标分析(结合课程标准说明本节课学习完成后所要达到的具体目标):
Main task (中心任务)要求学生运用所学的语言知识,运用语言技能,根据本单元的话题,完成一个语篇的写作任务。Main task是单元的高潮部分。
Main task在第一课时就已经点明,此后的各项活动和子任务都在不同程度上指向Main task。布置任务要求目标明确、步骤清晰。任务本身以及完成任务的环境和过程应该真实,完成任务后,学生提供具体的课堂活动成果(见附1、附2)。

Finding the prescribed work dull, the writing unrewarding and the students`imagination blunted, I turn to the additional reading,one in a poem, the other in a prose, expecting the students to get a kick from.Fun with Englishis valued by its learners not only for the words and grammar that it might teach, but also for the fun that it gives. Therefore the study of English not merely is the learning of a foreign language but it means a necessary aspect of humanistic study. If we do away with it, we definitely do away with all that is worth while in English learning, what remains is empty husk lack of its kernel, bare chaff. 《9A Unit2 Main Task》教学实践报告(指导思想,设计方法等说明)1、指导思想:基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。
英语课程的学习,既是学生通过英语学习和实践活动,逐步掌握英语知识和技能,提高语言实际运用能力的过程,又是他们磨砺意志、陶冶情操、拓展视野、丰富生活经历、开发思维能力、发展个性和提高人文素养的过程。
Main task (中心任务)板块要求学生运用所学的语言知识,运用语言技能,根据本单元的话题,完成一个语篇的写作任务。
Main task (中心任务)板块的核心思想是读写一体化,体现了语言整体教学法的思想。
即强调语言是一个整体,语言能力的发展和培养是整体性的,语言教学应该将听、说、读、写融为一体(听、说已在Integrated skill板块中得到体现,Main Task重点凸显读写);语言知识和技能应通过自然的语言环境加以培养;输出(写作)能有效促进语言知识的内化,学生必须通过一定量(质量和数量)的语言输入,语言知识才能得以消化、吸收并进入长期记忆系统,进入已有的知识结构之中,形成自己的语言生成系统,这样,读写能力最终才能得以提高。
本节课的教学设计就是基于这个指导思想。
2、设计方法:根据建构语言学理论,外语学习者必须在言语活动中掌握语言体系,同时学会利用语言体系中的材料建构话语。
阅读为写作提供所需的语言输入,而学会读是学会写的第一步。
通过阅读可以培养语感,帮助学生形成英语思维;进而培养建构篇章的能力。
基于这种认识,我把课本上的第1和第2部分以warm-up的形式作为本节课的导入,另选了两篇文学体裁作为阅读(毛泽东诗词英译和朗费罗英文散文),并配以色彩鲜明的图片,其内容与本课的教学主题高度相关,这样教学内容由易到难,兼顾尖子生与学困生,解决了读写教学环节上的普及与提高的关系。
Main Task教学目标通过师生互动的形式达成。
