三、点拨(7min)定语从句:1. 定义:在复合句中,修饰某一名词或代词的从句叫定语从句。

favorite是美式英语,favourite为英式写法,相当于like … best。

3. favorite 还可用作名词,意为―最喜欢的人或物‖。

二、1. why是疑问副词,意为―为什么‖,用来询问原因或理由。

用―Why + 一般疑问句?‖构成特殊疑问句,其答语通常为:Because …。

注意:汉语中的―因为……所以……‖常常连用,但在英语中because和so不能同时连用。
