Over this past summer break, I had the most amazing adventure that I just have to tell you all about!It all started back in June after school let out for the year. My parents surprised me and my little brother Tommy with a trip to visit our grandparents who live on a farm out in the countryside. I was super excited because I just love going to their farm and getting to run around and play outside all day long!We packed up our suitcases and hopped in the car for the 3-hour drive. Meimei practiced her listening by watching English movies and TV shows with subtitles. She had me quiz her too! I'd ask her questions after we watched something and she had to answer in English. Meimei read so many English books,newspapers, and magazine articles to get ready. Our living room was a huge mess with all her reading materials everywhere!
