Lesson 11 Shopping in Beijing
一、教学目标
1.知识目标:
(1)会读写重点单词:scarf 围巾,cap 帽子,hotel旅馆,kind 善良的,hurt疼,受伤。
(2)能灵活运用本课的重点句子:
Danny, Jenny, Ling Ming and Mrs.Li are shopping on Wangfujing Street.
What do you want to buy for your family?
I want to buy for my mother.....
知识拓展:
Jenny buys a scarf for her mother.
同义句:buy sth. for sb. buy sb. sth.
Jenny buys her mother a scarf.
What time is it? What’s the time?
2.能力目标:能在交际中灵活运用一般现在时。
情感目标:提高学生的观察能力和语言表达能力,培养学生学英语的兴趣。
3.教学重点:要求掌握的四会词语for,busy,shop,walk和一般现在时的构成和用法。
难点:是学生能正确了解和使用一般现在是表达经常性的
动作。
二、激情导入:你去过超市吗?你购过物吗?今天我们就
看看书中的几个主人公在王府井大街都买了些什么。
三、教学过程:
1.检查预习情况,回答4个问题。
(1)Does Danny go shopping?
(2)What does Jenny buy?
(3)Is Danny busy?
(4)What does Danny buy?
目的让学生熟悉课文内容,从课文中找出答案。
2. 学习句型Jenny buys a scarf for her mother.
运用短语:buy sth. for sb.
学生自己填写Part2. 2.,写完后小组互相检查单词拼写及句型
运用是否正确。
3.学习提问时间及时间的表达方法。

Step 1 Review

Step 2 Revision
Let’s the students review the words about the looking they have learnt.
Step 3 Leading in
Ask students a few questions.
T: This boy, please. Do you have any brothers?
S: Yes. I have one.
T: What does he do?
S: He is a worker.
T: What does he look like?
S: He has big eyes. He is fat.
T: Ok. Then how to describe his build/height and haircut? etc. This class we will study Unit 1 What does she look like?
(Show a slide : What does she look like?)
Step 4:Pre-task
Show the topic words. (Show six pictures. There are some new words and expressions under them.)
First explain the new words and expressions to the students. Then listen to the tape to learn them. Listen again.
Step 5: Practise: Listening
Showa slide. Let the students listen to the tape and fill in the chart with the new words and expressions. Listen twice.
Then ask them to talk about the answers each other and check the answers. At last tell the right answers to the students.
Step 6: While-task. Explain and work in pairs.
Show three pictures. Make a dialogue according to one of them. Explain
it to the students. Then let the students make dialogues according to the pictures. Students work in pairs. They discuss carefully. Then let some students show their answers to other students. Then ask students which group is the best. The teacher praise them.
Step 7: Practice: Pair work.
Show four pictures about Luxun, Yaoming, Chenglong and Hanhong. Let the students work in pairs to describe the famous persons. Ask them to make some dialogues. The students are very careful. First they discuss in pairs. Then ask some students to show their answers to the other students. At last the teacher give the best answers. Tell the students they are very great. So we should learn to them.
Step8: Post-task: Work in pairs.
Show a picture. Make a dialogue according to the situation. Ask the students using the words and sentences we have learnt this class. Then they work in pairs. Ask some students to show us. Let the other students discuss which group is the best. They are the winners. It’s fun time.
Step 9: Summary
Sum up what they have learnt.
Step 10: Homework
1. Copy the new words and Preview Section B.
2. Collect some pictures about your favorite persons and describe them.
3. Do a survey about the persons you like or don’t like. Tell us the reasons. Write
a report in your exercise book.
Unit 8 Lingling helps her parents
教学目标:
1. Students can use the phrases and sentence patterns: parent, make, iron, clean, meal, water, plant, wash, Her mother makes the bed. She helps her.
2. Encourage students to be helpful at home, at school and in the community.
教学重点:Her mother makes the bed. She helps her.

Step 1.Warming-up
1. Revision
(1). Look and say.(看图说短语)
(2). Listen and do.(听词语做出快速反应。
)
老师报出短语,学生举起手中相应意思的短语卡片,并能大声跟读。
2. Play a game.
Happy Fax (快乐传真)
从每大组中选择五个学生进行分组比赛,每小组第一个同学看图后用动作表达这个意思,其他成员依次模仿动作,最后一个同学猜出意思并用短语表达。
猜对结果较多的为胜。

A. Listen to the tape for the first time and catch the key words, then answer my question: Does Lingling help her parents at home? What does Lingling often do at home?

3. Practise. Do pair works.
Tell your partners if you are good children at home and how you help your parents using the new sentence patterns.
4. Listening practise.
A. Listen to the tape for the first time and catch the key words.
B. Listen to it again and tick the right pictures quickly.
C. Listen to it for the last time and check the answers together.
5. Let’s write and say.
A. Write one or two sentences to tell us how you help your parents at home.
B. Read the sentences in class.
C. Put your sentences up on the blackboard.

Unit 2 She didn’t have a television.
教学目标:
新单词fire, radio telephone, field, hope;音标教学:字母组合ai/ay, al/au, ar 的发音规则;一般过去时的教学:She didn’t have a television. She worked in the fields. 教学重点:单词和音标教学,用过去时谈论生活中发生的事。
教学难点:一般过去时的运用。
教学工具:点读笔,课件,音标卡
教学程序:
Step1:热身复习
让个别学生到前面来用英语谈论他或她的爷爷、奶奶、外公或外婆过去的生活与现在的生活。
即处理Unit2, Part2:Think and talk about your grandparents
Step2:课文导入
告诉学生:“自从Lingling昨天在英国看了那个关于中国的节目,她就非常想念自己的奶奶,于是她写信给Daming,讲述她看到的那个节目并倾诉她对亲人的思念。
下面我们一起来听听她在信中是如何描述节目中那个老奶奶过去的生活的。
”在听的同时,请把你不认识的单词用横线画出来。
Step3:课文教学
先让学生听录音,找出新单词,然后教师叫学生根据所学过的音标把单词一个个读出来,接下来老师把新单词教给学生。
再让学生听第二遍录音并回答以下问题:
What programme did Lingling watch last night?
What was the old lady’s life like many years ago?
Who does Lingling miss?
教师播放第三遍录音,学生大声跟读课文。
Step4:音标教学
把字母组合ai /ay, al/au, ar 及相应的音标卡写、贴在黑板上先让学生读出这些音标,老师再纠正教授音标。
游戏:听音标竞赛(教师准备两套音标卡片,并将全班分成两组,每人发一张卡片,教师快速念音标,持有该音标卡片的学生应迅速站起来,最先站起来的人得两分,后站出来的得一分,没站出来的得零分,得分多的组获胜。
)
Step5:Chant的教学让学生先跟老师熟读各句,然后听录音合着节拍一起说Chant,最后让学生组与组竞赛说,看哪组说得最好。
游戏:Do, ask and answer (拓展部分)

Step6 Homework(家庭作业)
