摘要：As a heat accummulation means, the ends of sodium high-pressure discharge vessels exhibit a floating metallic coating which is either vapour-deposited in a vacuum or applied as a paste. Nickel, chromium or palladium are suitable as metals. The thickness of
the coating is greater than the wavelength of the radiation emitted by the discharge vessel when the lamp is in operation and is within the range between 5 mu m and 100 mu m. For increasing vapour pressure and for improved-colour sodium high-pressure discharge lamps.
