"What are you talking about?"I asked. As soon as the words left my mouth, fear seized me. The phone dropped out of my hand. And then I grabbed my purse and headed for the car. To this day, I don’t remember driving to the hospital, but I found myself turning into the ER parking lot and running toward the entrance. John was waiting for me.“Please tell me they’re going to be okay,”I begged.
