“Tamara,” her mother called. “Are you ready?”
“Yes, I am!” Tamara said excitedly. Her mother and her older brother James were ready, too.

As the Internet becomes a bigger part of our lives, more of our data (数据)
becomes publicly known, leading to problems about personal information.
Imagine that you want to learn a new sport. You write “Is skiing difficult
to learn?” on your computer. You open a web page and read an article about
learn ing skiing. Later the same day, while you’re sending an email, an ad of
skiing training pops up quickly on the screen (屏幕). How does it happen? The simple answer is
online data. It is talking.
Every time we look for information on the Internet or on our smartphones, websites and apps are collecting data. Some companies use this way to follow exactly what we are doing. And they can guess what we are interested in and sell the things we really want to buy.
As more people are worried about data safety, governments are taking an active role in protecting (保护) our data. At the same time, what can we do to protect our data? Here are some ways.
●Do not share personal information on social networking sites (社交网站). There are times when you get an e-mail from someone pretending ( 假装) to be a person you know, and then ask questions about your ID card number or address.
●Avoid (避免) connecting your computer to any public Internet. When you connect it to an unsafe public Internet connection, people can easily steal any information on it.
●Be careful of phishing sites (钓鱼网站). Phishing sites copy other websites, such as banks or online shops, and name their website addresses almost the same as the original (原始的) sites. For example, they may change to .
As the ways of using the Internet continue to grow and change, we need to stay wise and careful about how to protect ourselves.

D. runs up

B. Why our data is collected.
C. Where we look for information.
D. What online companies are doing.
47.What’s the writer’s main purpose in writing this passage?
A.To ask the government to take action.
B.To show the problems about the Internet.
C.To make us less worried about data sharing.
D.To tell us to protect our online data carefully.
D
Have you ever met someone who makes a noise in public or someone who
jumps the queue? These people get our hearts beating fast and give us stress (压力).
Anger isn’t a pleasant feeling. Some can control (控制) it, while others can’t. Both
ways have influence (影响) on our bodies and minds. So, understanding our anger
can help us express (表达) it more healthfully.
Anger makes people feel uncomfortable, but it’s normal and healthy. Unluckily, many of us keep our anger hidden. This can have long-term effects on our health. Experts find that people who overcontrol their anger live a shorter lifetime. They’re more likely to die earlier from diseases.
Is it better, then, to shout and show unhappiness whenever something makes us mad? In fact, a research shows that when we express anger overly, the intensity (强度) of the anger will be higher and we will get angry easily in the future. This will further influence our personal relationship and hurt our health. A study finds that people are more than twice as likely to have a heart problem after a strong expression of anger.
Whether we overcontrol or overexpress anger, it will be unhealthy. But if we’re able to use some skills to manage anger, everything will be in our control.
Start by looking beyond what causes our anger. There are deep reasons behind it. Maybe our parents are angry with us when we are home late, but it’s really because they are worried about our safety.
Another way of dealing with anger is to talk about it. A study shows that if we name our feelings, we can actually calm our activity in amygdala, one part of our brain. Explaining it gives us a cool- down period, which makes us think about what’s troubling us. We can also free our anger by taking a deep breath and doing some physical activities.
Besides, when we face an angry person, there are good sides if we try to understand the other person’s anger. We should focus on his activity and why he troubles us, not his personality ( 性格). Then the other person will learn to deal with anger.
Next time when we face anger, remember to make a change and you can always find a better way to understand and deal with it.
48.According to Paragraph 1, .
A.anger can’t be controlled
B. anger does not give us stress
C. understanding anger is very helpful
D. showing anger has bad influence on us
49.What can we learn from the passage?
A.It’s healthy to keep our anger hidden.
B.Overexpressing anger will make us angrier.
C.We will get angry more easily if we control anger.
D.It’s better to shout and show unhappiness when we’re mad.
50.How can we deal with anger according to the passage?
A.By calming our activity in brain.
B.By asking others to understand our anger.
C.By thinking about deep reasons behind anger.
D.By changing the personality of the angry person.
51.Which of the following would be the best title for the passage?
A.Anger: Express It or Not
B. Anger: Manage It in the Right Way
C. Anger: An Unhealthy Feeling
D. Anger: The Reason Behind the Illness

Earlier this month, Yunnan’s migrating ( 迁徙) elephant herd

During the travel, the government offered them food and followed them with flying drones. With the help of police, more than 150,000 people moved away from the herd. Even as the herd took up many communities (社区) along the way, they left zero injuries (受伤) because the government and people worked together to ensure the safety of both animals and humans.
While the reason why the herd has this travel is still unknown, we do know the home of the elephants is in danger and they have to find a better one.
In fact, the Chinese government is taking action to protect the environment. Thanks to the work of the government, we can see some deserts turn into green land. More and more wild animals come back. Humans and wild animals are able to enjoy the warm sunshine together again.
As the elephants are on the road to a greener home, we humans are also on the way to a brighter future.
